This is our go to spot, most of the time. The cons of this place are: (From an American Viewpoint) Poor candy selection Popcorn always tastes stale & there's no liquid butter (oh no) Drinks are in bottles/ no soda fountain (I need ice) The theater seats are rough to sit on The pros however are: Parking is free/ plenty of parking Movies are offered in English They serve liquor/ bottled beer This place have a massive amount of unused space. Every time I visit I comment how they'd increase their revenue if they revamped the snack counter and filled the empty space with arcade games/ laser tag/ escape room, etc. Overall it's worth the visit if you're looking for a movie spot other than on base theaters. read more

If you're looking for a Hollywood movie in English without subtitles, this is your place. I found it to be easily located (behind the McDonalds or Hertz as you enter Landstuhl from Weilerbach - I guess that's the best way to describe?) The parking lot across from the theaters main doors has a surrounding gate with a gate arm, but it doesn't actually shoot out a ticket. So just push the button for entrance, and the drive on in. There's an atm located at the sidewalk for the parking lot. This is an atm and not a parking ticket booth. Parking is free! Yay! As you enter, there is a corridor and then the lobby through the second set of entrance doors, and to the left once you enter the lobby is the counter labeled "tickets" (look up for the signs), and then there's also beverages and snack concessions next to the ticket cashier as well. For two adults during the day it was €20. I thought that was kinda pricey. But movies are kinda a luxury so it's all good. Beer and wine are sold here - all German brand which to me is even better than offering bud light. They do not unlock the entrance doors until a few minutes prior to show time. Which explains the circular lobby seating as you enter. It's like everyone's in the fish bowl waiting. Cause they are! In the theater, the seats are comfortable with cup holders but they're not well tiered so I thoughtfully sat off to the the side even though the seating is assigned because I had a high bun that day which would've ruin the view for the ladies behind me! It was my first time there so next time I will choose a less obnoxious and lazy hair style. I look forward to returning, especially because I don't work on week days and I'm sure the theater will be super empty. Here's hoping! read more

Have seen several movies here in English. We enjoy the comfortable, plush theater seats, and the lobby area while waiting. Decent candy selection, and the sweet popcorn in delicious. Buying tickets online and being able to choose your seats at purchase is brilliant! I do wish their beer selection was more varied, but the 3 they offer are good. Parking has never been a problem either, another reason we chose to come here. read more

Great movie theater! It was gated and walking in from the parking lot made it seem like you were going into a palace of some sorts. Everything was clean and it had a very loungey near the concessions stand. Clean seats and good screen! read more

When we first moved here, the only movie theater i knew of was the one on base, and they don't show a lot of the current releases, so I started asking around and found out about this place. You would think that they would only play movies in German....but... They don't!!! They play all current movies in both English AND German, Soooo this place is great for us americans that want to watch a new movie coming out! They also play movies in 3D and 2D! What i really love about this place is that they will have intermission in some of the longer movies! Was surprised the first time it happened, but great at the same time cause if you need to use the restroom you def dont have to worry about missing any of the movie! The theater itself is really really nice too. Very comfortable seating too. I sometimes wish that they had more showings for each day, most of the time even on the weekend the earliest showing doesn't start till 1:30, sometimes 3:30, and on the weekdays usually not until around 5pm, and the latest showing is at 1030 on sat nights and only for the new movies that come out for the first weekend, but thats not such a big deal, and probably pretty normal for the locals here. :) I think the only downside i would have to say is that the only payment they take is Cash in Euro, They don't except cards of any kind... so you have to make sure you go by a ATM before you go..... But other then that, this is a great place to go watch a new movie that is coming out you have been looking forward to seeing. read more

You know, it's strange to me how well known a place like this could be, how culturally shared and word of mouthed the Broadway Kino is, and yet, has not seemed to dip its standards below what I would consider the normal mainstream. Yes, it's a movie theater. Which, if you're the stringy spender who already likes to complain about popcorn prices, you'll be heartbroken to know it's something Germany hasn't done better. But what the Broadway Kino HAS done better, is offering a classy movie-going experience, to both German and English speaking crowds, by seamlessly colliding the two groups into a large, comfortable and well served venue. They offer a surprisingly unique selection of beers, a formidable candy selection, plush (assigned) seats, the cleanest bathrooms in Landstuhl. My earlier point was that everybody knows about the Broadway Kino. There isn't much competition with any other locals theaters, and what's offered on base is a joke. If you want to see a movie, you and everybody else in Kaiserslautern knows that the only place to go is here. And even with that kind of hold on the market, the Broadway Kino is absolutely at the top of its game. read more

Broadway-Kino is a decent movie theater to go to if you're not in the mood to deal with the AAFES movie theaters on base/post. Has the latest movies in both English and German. PROS: Nice, clean waiting area, the restrooms are actually clean, for the most part, and the theater seating has places where you can put your drinks and snacks in front of you instead of in cup holders so you can knock them over. They have snacks and drinks. You can even purchase beer. They don't serve food really so it's best you eat at the McDonald's up the street before you go. CONS: The parking lot is a dirt lot. Strongly recommend not dressing up nice to this place as you'll be walking through a mud lot if it happens to rain or snow. Overall, it's a nice place to watch the latest flicks. read more

I saw Terminator 2 here in 1991 and Austin Powers in Goldmember in 2002. Americans have coming here for a long time. It was my first experience with a movie theatre that served alcohol. Seemed like a good idea at the time, but halfway through the movie you're running to the bathroom for a pee break. read more

This theater shows new releases in English and in German for 5 euros on Tuesdays or 7,50 euros on other days. This is a great alternative to the KMC theater at Ramstein. They also serve alcohol. Most showtimes are at around 5:45 pm or 8:15 pm, and the tickets will have assigned seating printed on them. if you're working at Landstuhl, you can easily catch a movie after work. Within a few hundred feet is a McDonald's if you're hungry afterward. Also, if you're an American, you're advised to wear nice clothes. Germans take great pride in their appearance and they judge you rather quickly on how well you present yourself. This is true in the US but even more so here. Be a good representative of the US and do as the Germans do. read more

I've been going here since I was a kid, and they have not changed a thing! If you want to see the most current release of an English-language film, this is the place to go. They've got an arcade, decent popcorn, and it's less rowdy than the kid-filled theaters of the base. read more

This place is awesome. They play movies in English, right when they come out. Usually we have to wait a few extra wks for the Ramstein AB movies to play them. Popcorn is awesome, even w/out the butter. They have a great cafe inside, the Pepis's only come in bottles and the theaters are very clean and comfortable.
