Jalapeño corn bread and the cajon sampler. Delicious.

OMG, this place is amazing. Crazy cool. Amazing live music. Food and drinks were fantastic. Service was super friendly. If you're in the area, check it out. If you're not in the area, make a plan to get there. It's worth the trip.

The only place to get Oysters in St. Louis! Located in the ballpark village and views of the famous Arch!

Had Broadway Oyster Bar for the first time today! The alligator bites were a fun appetizer, and my daughters enjoyed the shrimp & wild mushroom pasta, charbroiled oysters, and crab cakes. I had the catfish, but it was fried a little too hard for my liking. The crab cakes were definitely the star of the meal... but I almost forgot to mention the bread pudding! Now that was worth every bite. I'll definitely be back and honestly, it might be just for the bread pudding! Our waitress was very attentive and music was diverse. Indoor and outdoor seating is available.

I was pleasantly surprised by the New Orleans theme at this restaurant. There was a lot of cajun vibes as soon as you walk through the door. The walls are lined with artwork with nods to New Orleans. There is a bar first thing and they have Louisiana beers on draft. The menu is full of New Orleans food options. Crawfish, Oysters, Gumbo, and much more. I decided to try a Grinder which is a hallowed out bread stuffed with your filling of choice. Mine was sausage and shrimp. It was decent tasting but super messy. I also tried the Oysters and Crawfish Pasta which is a nod to the Crawfish Monica. I loved the effort, but the food is definitely better in New Orleans. -Service: Great- we were a large group and they did a fantastic table serving the entire table. -Reservations: Yes! They prefer not seat you until most of your party has arrived. -Outdoor Seating: There's a cute patio. -Parking: Street parking- it was challenging while we were there due to the Cardinals game nearby.

One night, I stopped by BOB for dinner and decided to sit on the patio as it was a perfect evening for it. Their Shrimp Voodoo Po'Boy on Gambino's bread, straight from New Orleans, is my absolute favorite. The ambience is the closest to New Orleans you can get here in STL! And don't forget to try their Cajun fries with a side of ranch!

Went in for their happy hour that was advertised on Facebook. Went early afternoon on a Tuesday. When got there the main door was locked so had to enter through the patio entrance. There were no signs stating to enter that way. Service was slow as there were only 2 servers. Took a while before anyone was even around. I had to ask about hh specials. They were not offered until I requested. Ordered calamari which was a large portion for $9.99. Fish tacos half entree for$ 12.99. The pieces of fish in the tacos were large but that price for 2 tacos as a special i thought was a little pricy. Also ordered the hh oysters. $2 each The patio is great spot to hang out. Food was good. Service was slow.

Popular, tasty, and will definitely return! My friend and I came here one evening for dinner. Parking is available in the lot across the street or on the street. The parking lot was basically empty, since it was late in the evening on a weekday. It's a casual place with Cajun/Creole food. We had a reservation and were seated quickly. Our server was so friendly and helpful, she was wonderful! For a beverage, I ordered the Horny Gator. It was delicious, it reminded me of being on vacation. It tasted similar to a piña colada. For an entrée, I ordered the Shrimp Voodoo Tacos. They were juicy, spicy, and filling. The side of jambalaya on the side was also a delight; it had delicious sausage & shrimp in it, a great amount of spice, and paired wonderfully with the tacos. We also shared the Cajun fries. They were covered in Cajun seasoning and were thin-sliced, yet had an adequate amount of potato per bite. Excited to go back and try more!

I went to Broadway Oyster Bar in St. Louis on a Saturday night and had a really solid experience. The bartender was super friendly, and when I asked for recommendations, he pointed me toward the alligator sausage and the shrimp cheesecake which was worth trying. I also had some oysters, which were tasty and surprisingly filling. I started out at the inside bar, which was cool because they have a TV, so I could watch the football game while eating and hanging out. After the game, I moved outside to the patio bar. There were no TVs out there, but they had live music, and the vibe was great. The band set the mood. Overall, the good food, friendly service, and a fun atmosphere.

I have been to Broadway Oyster Bar a couple times, for girl's night with a good friend and for an after event with co-workers. I enjoy sitting outside in one of the high-top bar tables and listening to the live music. The inside eating area is OK. It's not a preference but if the weather isn't cooperating outside....welllll inside it is. The staff is friendly and hardworking. Parking is a pain, of course it's downtown STL. The catfish nuggets and crab cakes on top of a fried green tomato and served with cole slaw are delicious. The drinks are very hit-n-miss depending on who is making the drinks. The charbroiled oysters are another good dish to order. The wings are just OK, have to ask for extra, extra crispy. The Cajun shrimp pasta is ok, lacking the Cajun seasoning and flavors of the dish. It's a chill, no frills spot to hangout and vibe.

I was in the city for an awards banquet and arrived early. I figured Broadway Oyster Bar would be a great place to kill time. I found Prince parking, thanks to my parking angel who hangs on my review mirror. When I arrived inside, I was able to get a seat at the end of the bar. The bartender was hustling waiting on others and told me she'd be with me in a hot minute. It was close to shift change and the next bartender had arrived, so she asked him to get my drink. Since I was in a New Orleans/Cajun themed restaurant, I ordered a Sazerac cocktail. I watched him make it and he was extremely detailed. After my first sip, I knew it was masterfully prepared. I drink this cocktail often and I can tell you, this one was probably the best I've had in STL. I'll be back to for some oysters very soon, I didn't want to ruin my appetite for the awards banquet.

One of the cocktail menus. Baseball season! I had the Red Bird! 10/10. Tastes just like strawberry lemonade. But it will sneak up on you

The restaurant is really divey! Cute! Eclectic! Big space! An outside patio during good weather. Cool vibes. Delicious food! Swell drinks! Fast, and efficient service. I would totally come back

This was a good experience. We went around Mardi Gras, and the decorations were great and the band played good songs. Unfortunately, we were seated at a table we reserved outside behind a pole, so I couldn't see the band very well, but the ambiance was still really cool. If I returned, I'd probably try the other shrimp dish. My mushroom pasta didn't quite blow me away, but the wings and drinks were good. Our waitress was also very attentive throughout the night.

    Crawfish bisque, crabcakes, crawfish enchiladas
    Alisha V.

Broadway oyster bar is such a St. Louis staple. Such a fun vibe and delicious food! It does feel quite a bit like being in New Orleans and they have live music several nights per week. The patio is really fun in the warmer weather months. I have been going there for years and always have to get a hurricane when I'm there. At this last visit, we got oyster shooters, crabcakes, crawfish bisque, and crawfish enchiladas. Everything was great besides, the bisque was incredibly thick, it was almost like pudding consistency, in nowhere resembled a soup. I would not get it again. Everything else I've had there has been great though. At other visits, I've had the voodoo tacos, fried catfish, a variety of oysters and the ahi fajitas. Highly recommend making a reservation on the weekends as they get very busy!

1/2 lb shrimp boil, bbq shrimp, and chargrilled oysters.

Yes, I have done a walk in with a group of 6 on a Friday night. I guess it just depends on how busy they are.

Is the outdoor patio dog friendly?

How are the boiled crawfish this season? Do they come in frozen or alive? Also, how spicy are they? I love them on the spicier side. I visit New Orleans often, but couldn't make it down this year and am hoping this will satisfy crawfish craving!

To start, we each go a Caesar salad, we split an order of calamari, and I got the flower power to drink. I was warned before hand that the drink I chose would be an "experience" but that I should enjoy it. An experience would be an understatement. The salad was good and I loved the croutons, although they were a bit tough. The calamari was quite tasty and seasoned well. As for my drink, let's just say I was NOT prepared. The drink itself wasn't the problem but more so the buzz flower that accompanied it. You're supposed to eat the flower first and then drink. It comes with a glass of prosecco as a palate cleanser but I don't feel as though it did much. I'd say that flower kicked in within 15 minutes and ultimately, that's when things took a turn. At first it felt like pop rocks in my mouth and then I started to feel awful. While the chaos was going on, I managed to eat my blackened salmon, which was delicious. It started with the cheese/tomato soup that I got with my burger. It was flavorless and tasted like water lightly infused with some tomato and cheese flavor. My medium burger was well done. Maybe even a step past well done, and was not edible. My wife's meal was good, but forgettable. The drinks were still good, but the poor food quality was a huge let down. The last part that dampened the mood was where we sat. They have a modest outdoor patio and then seating on the sidewalk along the front. We had put in a reservation for outdoor seating. As we walked up there was one table on the very far side of the sidewalk seating almost into a parking lot. I turned to my wife and said "I hope that isn't us." It was. It was just an awkward spot.
