The staff have always been friendly when I have gone in, they are helpful in picking up what you want. If you know someone likes beer but no idea what to get, they are a great help and they do know their stuff when it comes to alcohol. They do have good offers on most of the time so worth checking out before you buy anything.

It is a pretty good looking pub with a nicely designed interior, friendly atmosphere, a few board games to keep you going and an upstairs seating area with a few larger tables. We took our place and were presented with a rather fairly priced food menu, shown the extensive list of Ale, Larger and locally brewed craft beers. As we were all there for a Sunday roast we were quick to order. I chose the Pork Belly and a lovely glass of IPA to wash it all down. When the food arrived it was much more than I expected and was far tastier than I imagined the resident kitchen could produce. Needless to say my plate and pint was gone within minutes and everyone at the table had the lethargic smiles that usually accompanies a satisfying meal. As we enjoyed the atmosphere we decided to stick around for a few more drinks and got cosy. All in all I would highly recommend a visit to The Dean Swift, especially the pork belly roast dinner, just plan to spend a good few hours there with a bunch of friends.
