I live in Apalachicola and have been very pleased with Brock Lawn for the past 8-9 years. My service technician, Jason, does a wonderful job. However, today Jason went above and beyond!! I have a new hand mixer and couldn't get the beaters to stay in the mixer. Jason had just finished my lawn service, and I asked if he could help. Of course he said yes. A few minutes later, he fixed my mixer. Thank goodness for this great guy who is always happy to assist, even with making cookies! read more

This review is for their weed service. They are reliable but they just don't do a great job. They only spray half the yard, so you still get weeds. They are at my home for a total of 2 minutes. I don't have a large yard, but I see other providers in the area spending 5-10 minutes at each home. I have a Ring camera so I know that they only spray half my yard. I had to baby sit them via my Ring cameras because I noticed I was still getting weeds in areas. I don't want to babysit someone for a service I pay for. It isn't worth it. It is way too much trouble. read more

Their technician came out 10 days ago to service my lawn. Since I noticed some weeds were not wilting, I contacted them by email (since phoning doesn't work) . I was told that the manager, Jacob, would call me before coming out. He said he came out, but did not call first - so he said no one was home. He said he saw the weeds but refused to send his technician back out to finish the job. He said the technician would get them on his next trip out. I told him I would take care of my lawn from now on. This wasn't the first time I've had trouble with Brock technicians taking proper care of my lawn. But it was definitively the last time. read more

My yard look horrible! Can't get anyone out here until Monday next week because supervisor is on another job!

I contracted with Brock on two houses. BOTH houses were later to be found infested with termites. Brock treated the newer house several times and were almost as amazed as I was to continue seeing termites. When I called to cancel service I never got a call back from anyone at Brock asking how they might make it right or what was wrong or nothing. You'll do just as good and far less cheaper by going to the grocery store and buying a can of Raid. read more

Needed Lawn Sprayed for mosquitos and fleas. Left message no one called back. Tried to schedule Termite inspection. No one called back concerning this request. Just simply confused. How can anyone run a business with no communication. Maybe office staff needs a over haul. read more

Rude. Insensitive to others. Tried dealing w/them a few times since hurricane. Had unwanted remarks & touching me by a tech. I also experienced drain gnats for the first time & whoever was in the off told me to place vinegar out. NO. THAT was FEEDING them. And apparently throughout all of the trauma and the drama, from the previous new Floridians from hurricane Michael, as well as their own employee, taunting me, and bad communication for years, somehow or other they received emails that they never addressed with me. And I do live with CPTSD. I was asked to call them back because I could request another technician per another local pest control company that's at capacity, and I told her why I did not want to call them back. But I did politely anyway, I was put on hold forever which I guess I was supposed to just hang up? I had to switch over and take another call and call back, because I was supposed to be speaking to Andrew. So that time I called back to speak to Andrew and apologized for having to hang up, she said "oh, he just left the office" so by the end of the day he finally called , and he decided to come after me regarding emails? That weren't intended for them in the first place. And if they were so offensive or scary, the right thing to do would've been to pick up the telephone, and check on the human. Or ask if that is meant for them. But he took up an hour of my time, of me explaining the situation, including being seduced by his technician, and he still said "I'm still not going to come out there and spray" I had to remind him a few times to take that seriously. I definitely don't recommend this company based on several reasons, and then some. And now we have a whole brand new batch of "new Floridians" our population is too big. Too many people moved here after hurricane Michael & the election for the wrong reasons. read more

I called this company multiple times, no one answers the phone. They say you can leave a message or email them. I did both. When someone finally returned my call she wasn't even able to schedule an appointment for me. If it is this hard to communicate w/ them I can't image they would have good service. read more

We've been with Brock for at least 7 + years and this year has proven to be our worst yet. We've had a beautiful Zoysia lawn and Brock convinced me that we needed monthly service to keep it that way. I haven't had a monthly service in almost two months and they won't give me a date that they'll come. My beautiful grass is being overtaken by sedge which is a nasty weed. They've obviously lost good workers and therefore the business is suffering. It's truly sad to see a reputable company go downhill so quickly. Jeannie M. read more

We have 5 homes that we signed up for service 4 months ago. We've continued to have pest issues at all homes and get the same lame excuses from the tech. He even made us sign up for a "commercial service" to charge us more money. More than frustrated that it seems they've been spraying water and not chemicals to stop any pests from our homes. If it was one type of pest it would be one thing, but it is several and all homes have been completely remodeled with zero entry points. Their contracts state they service for both ants and roaches, yet our tech likes to tell us the roaches enter because our guests leave the doors open and they do not (nor do any other services) guarantee against them (lies). However, when I incurred these issues in my own home, knowing we don't leave anything open, I requested he come back and service. That was last week and since I've spotted at least a dozen roaches and seem to have Florida's entire ant population moved in. We previously had Terminex and never had any issues, so we've went back to them. Save your money and frustration and don't use Brocks. read more

Brock has been MIA since Hurricane Michael. We have been trying to get them to spray the lawn AND the paver walkway which becomes full of weeds quickly. They say they will but do not show up and the two times they have been here the treatment they applied seems to do little more than feed the weeds. Very sad and now looking for a new company. read more

I have to re-sod my lawn because of the treatment or lack there of from Brock Pest Control. The general manager and VP argued with me while standing in my dead grass. The rudest management I have ever dealt with, very confrontational!!!! Do not use them!!!! read more

I rate this company high on my list. They solved a problem I had in my home that no other company could. Now we do business with them for our rentals also. We have never had a problem. The tech and sales consultant offered contradictory information, both of which was found to be wrong when I consulted the EPA website to get facts. Additionally, aside from not knowing the chemicals they worked with or having any literature to furnish on what the various chemicals actually impact and for how long, the technician is easily the most rude person I have ever encountered. So, if you would like to not waste time and money and have a job completed with care, choose any company besides Brock! read more
