It took two attempts to purchase an item from the online store and when the sale did eventually go through i had to wait over a week for delivery! (I live within the same county as the store) When I emailed which I had to do because the telephone was seldom answered, I got just two replies....I had to make three phone calls about delivery because I couldn't get a straight answer from anyone about the time.. was finally given a time of 4 or 5 pm and left my son at home to receive it as I had an appointment . At 8.20 pm the delivery arrived with two of the grumpiest most sullen silent men I've ever encountered. The piece is badly made wonky handles and one door only opens if forced . If I had the energy to deal with this company again I'd complain but truly life is too short. read more

Terrible service. Never deliver when arranged. Extremely rude woman on phone, " Why did you buy from us if we are that bad" . Never again. 12 missed delivery dates. Everytime it's "oh we will deliver on ***day. the driver was out sick, The delivery didn't come, or the manufacturer were on holidays." A different lie every time regardless of the last one you were told. My advice is to stay away from there, It will only lead to anxiety and stress. read more

FANTASTIC SERVICE!!! I had very short notice of Family Visiting for Easter and phoned to see if they could help with Several Beds and other bits of Furniture. I was amazed at the service and the way they went out of there way to get me what I wanted. Not only did they get it to me in time but they assembled it all for me. Absolutely the worst customer service. This is a review for the brodericks in ennis as their other store closed (not surprising). I would totally avoid this store at all costs, I initially rang this store looking for two chairs which are on their website, they said they had to order them in and would be in that Friday. I went to the store on Friday to be told, they didn't know where they were, took my phone number incase they "found them". They never rang me back and numerous calls to them went unanswered, so I went to the store again to be told the same thing and she took my number again (even though I had given number prior). Still haven't rang me back, its like they have no interest in actually selling the furniture, it's a pure joke of a store. read more

I am awarding Brodericks Furniture 1 star for past performance + the ladies on the phone are always lovely - so maybe they are not to blame? What has happened to this co. that my parents have been using since I was a child? I was reared on their furniture. My parents bought a leather suite of furniture from them about a year ago. It looks fab but the 2 recliners have springs coming up through them which make them very uncomfortable to sit on. I have been calling Broderick's since July of this year to come & have a look at them (including long-distance phone calls from USA). E-mails are completely ignored. I purchased a leather suite of furniture from them in Jan '09, the sewing started to tear in Nov '09. I sent them proof of purchase in April 2010 and I waited (after 43 phonecalls) until Sept '10 for the owner to come take a look at it. After that, it took him 4mnths to come & collect it and now it's 7 wks since he collected it in Jan 2011 and I'm still waiting for to have it returned. The owner is a rude, ignorant man who has all his employees taking the slack for his incompetence. I will never again buy from them & suggest you don't either, it will save you a whole lot of hassle!! read more

ordered 4 items of furniture from this company on sept 14 , with the promise that the prepaid items would be delivered " within the week " . Fastforward 3 phonecalls and 3 weeks and the delivery men arrive to my delight and relief ..... but alas they only have 2 items of furniture for me !!! They assure me that the remaining 2 items will arrive on friday ( 3 days later ) . As I write this review , a further 5 weeks have passed and in the interim 4 phone calls ( and subsequently 4 broken promises ) have been exchanged without any sight of my furniture arriving .The assurance under which I currently pin my hopes states that my delivery will take place tomorrow ....... do I dare to dream of a happy ending ? will this distasteful saga conclude tomorrow ? .......hope springs eternal -- I guess !!!!!!!!! read more
