I'm automatically biased for any place that serves a scoop of London Icecream Company's St Jacob's Apple Pie because it is a top 3 icecream flavour in the whole world. That said, Broderick's does icecream right. It offers over 40 flavours, makes its own waffle cones, is generous with its scoops and prices, and has an old-timey decor and cheery service. It's hot out there! So why don't you get some ice cream? Broderick's Ice Cream Parlour is the place to be! The ice cream was delicious, and had many flavours to choose from! (I chose Georgian Bay strawberry cheesecake.) The cones won't let you down either! They have waffle cones dipped with an optional chocolate or sprinkles dip. You could also get a waffle BOWL optionally dipped in chocolate! (All the cones are made there so they are fresh and crunchy!) They do have a few tables to sit at, but since it was a nice day we sat at a table outside (near the water.) I would recommend going if you want awesome ice cream and delicious cones! read more

FOOD: ice cream is generous and quite tasty. We got Niagara Peach and Rum and Raisin. The Peach tasted better and the waffle cone was nice and crunchy. AMBIENCE: you walk in and see a bunch of high school girls on summer vacay and a gigantic blackboard full of all the possible flavours you could imagine (and some you can't)! They have plenty seating options outside so +1! SERVICE: I have a bone to pick here, I'll be honest. The servers weren't very accommodating with their stamp card. We bought three different cones and we were told that we were only allowed one stamp. Seems kinda rigid and nonsensical. Why offer a rewards card if you're being stingy with the points? Otherwise, attentive. PRICE: a little overpriced for what we got. I think we ended up paying around $6.60 for two scoops on a waffle cone which seems steep for what we got. TIPS: maybe roll your own ice cream? I think I would pass next time. read more

Favourite ice cream and frozen yogurt spot for locals and tourists. Lots of flavours to choose from and some dairy free options. My favourite one here so far is the watermelon sherbet, pretty unique and there are chocolate chips posing as watermelon seeds, how cute and delicious! They also sell some candies here, I love sprinkling pop rocks onto the ice cream for that extra sugar rush. read more

Yummy I have cherry cheesecake and choc peanut butte on a waffle cone delicious. My hubby wasn't at all impressed with his, poor thing he's not a cone guy so he got rum and raisin in a cup, his all time fave ice cream (he was so happy when he saw it listed) but it tasted nothing like it. read more

Broderick's Ice Cream Parlor will now be my go-to ice cream destination in Port Stanley, instead of Shaw's. I made my decision this past Saturday, when I decided to take a friend and get an ice cream for a treat. Upon entering the parking lot at Shaw's, we were dismayed to see there were so many vehicles at 9:00 p.m., and when we stepped in to order, there were a lot of people being served and I realized seating will be difficult since we had noticed all the picnic tables out front had people sitting on them. I changed my mind immediately when I was asked what my order was... even though the young gal behind the counter said take your time and was patient with me, I'm glad I made the decision to get out of there; it really felt as though with all the sales they were pulling in, we'd be a dime in a dozen. I still wanted a treat and I took us to Broderick's and it was much more low-key. We found a table to sit at inside the parlor, and even though people were seated outside and people were coming into order, I didn't ever feel like a sardine in a can. I got the Georgian Strawberry Cheesecake ice cream sundae with blueberry sauce, whipped cream, gummies, and a cherry on top. For myself, the sugar was a bit much and I'm glad I had a friend to share it with. We both agreed the ice cream was delicious and at $3.95 for this personalized ice cream sundae, I'm glad I had this experience. read more

I have been going here since I was a kid. They have the best frozen yogurt I have ever had, made with real fruit and comes in tons of flavors. It is creamy and delicious. Not like that terrible fake frozen yogurt that so many stores are selling these days. Love their waffle cones too. Made fresh on spot! read more
