If you go to just one beach in the Sydney area, then this HAS to be it! Bronte Pool is a salt water pool that constantly gets filled by the ocean waves! The water is a bit chillier than I might prefer since it's the same temperature as the ocean, but it is such an amazing experience! They clean the pool once every week, but it doesn't seem to get too dirty - we went on the day before they clean it and it was still great to swim in! The scenery here is fantastic, with rocks surrounding the pool... and the full view of the beach... including a lot of booty showing on this beach! Next time I'm in Sydney, I will be sure to visit Bronte Pool again! *****FIVE STARS***** read more

Passed by the Bronte Baths on the Bondi to Coogee walking path and it was very cool to see people enjoying the natural baths!! I liked that it was not crowded and free unlike the more popular Icebergs in Bondi! It looked very clean and taken care of for being a public space. read more

Growing up in Bronte in the 1950's & 60's I spent a lot of time in Bronte Baths (Rock Pool). Since then my children & grandchildren have also enjoyed the pool. It was always clean with various different areas to suit each persons needs, including a shallow area for small children. Throughout my life I have been to many pools but still rate Bronte as my favorite. The Bogey Hole next to it is also great for kiddies at low tide as well as a safer alternative for swimmers when the surf is too rough. read more

There's a dedicated lap pool for those that want to actually swim, and there's another pool for those that want to take a dip. The waves also crash over the edge, plus you have the beautiful Bondi Beach all around! You can't ask for anything else. The pool area was also very clean! This rock pool is iconic because it's one you see all over Instagram, Pinterest, and Google searches of "rock pools in Sydney." And it lives up to the hype. It's not too crowded on the weekdays, is easily accessible, and is kept clean/clear. It also has nearby amenities, which is a plus. Definitely visit on your Bondi to Coogee walk/drive!
