Top notch experience! Place has a vibrant, comfortable vibe to put you at ease. Online process seamless and easy to follow. McKenna was my waxing associate and could not have been happier. She had a great genuine upbeat personality, really made you feel at ease, communication was on point, really left no stone unturned from beginning to end, oh and she was really fun to talk to. The waxing process, I was there for my back. They use vegan ingredients for the waxing which I really like, pain scale was less than traditional waxing. I would say traditional waxing for me is a 8 outta 10 whereas this was 6.5 outta 10. McKenna was very thorough throughout the entire process. No sticky residue post wax which is common from other places. I really like the eucalyptus warm towels post wax to smooth the back, nice touch. Place was charming and clean. This was just what I needed, last two studios have been disappointing. Last place major breakout post waxing and other place gave the worst attitude. First time doing a spray tan and I loved it so much!!! Why didn't I do this sooner!!!! You can choose rapid or not, just depends on how long you're willing to be in the spray tan before you have to shower. The spray was so cold but I just told myself this better be worth it. Would come very frequently but up until my last visit I wouldn't say it's the best for sugar waxing. Some of the girls seem to rush through the progress making it lose some of the luxe. Came in recently and was running about 5 min late so I called to let them know. I always come prepared so as soon as I arrived we got started. My sugarist put the wax over and just ripped the entire thing off. It didn't really hurt but it mostly startled me since I've never seen anyone wax that way before. She didn't even check for left over hairs before she told me to meet her outside then walked out. I was in and out in a matter of minutes. Less than 10 for sure. When I got to the counter I felt awfully uncomfortable as the girls just stare at you. My sugarist rung me up and her coworker just sat there in silence looking at her phone. Super cute place! However here is my first time experience: Checking in: I wasn't offered a drink but the next customer was by the same receptionist (so inconsistent about their customer service), especially since I mentioned it's my first time here and was asking questions but was told the person doing my spray tan will explain everything Spray tan experience: it was pretty quick. The person who did my spray tan was knowledgeable but didn't dry the tan to do a second check and spray where / if missing areas. The way it was done was less than 5min. I have done many and usually it's first round then dry and do areas a second time which wasn't done here. They wipe your hands and finger nails. Sadly many area on hand was missed so I have tan on by hands. I wish they would let their customers also check and clean where needed (I wasn't offered that option). I did dry myself as you do receive a hair dryer to dry your body. Results: it's definitely not what I usually get, after 4hours which is the dark result for the quick tan was definitely not what I got. Tan is uneven, areas are missing (my arms, my stomach, face and lower legs are not really tan). I think it's either the quality of tanning product or the technique or both. Pretty sad about the results as the place itself is really cute. read more

I've been meaning to write this review for awhile. I came in around early July and got my brows lifted, tinted, shaped, and laminated by Elsy. The establishment is located across from Platinum Triangle. It's on the same street as the store with the huge lightbulb. The entire brow process took about an hour. The level of detail and work that goes into it is incredible. It's quite relaxing also, although the chemical that's used does smell like sulfur.. wearing a mask helps a ton :) I loved the experience, and the results after a couple of days were amazing. I did let Elsy know I was hoping for it to look more natural. The first day is a lil crazy when you're not used to it but after a couple days, they mellow out and it looks SO GOOD. I couldn't stop talking about how much I loved my brows. It was around $140 incl tip. They say it lasts about 6-8 weeks, depending on how you care for them. My hair grows pretty quickly now because of all the supplements I take for skin/hair, so it's a bit hard to say. I'd say by the 2nd-3rd week, all my natural brow hair grew back in, so the actual look of the perfect lamination shape went away for me.. but the lamination still helped make shaping my brows a lot easier as I'd just brush them up and they'd stay up with some brow gel/brow glue. I'm on my 8th week now, and I'm still able to brush them up and have them stay. Also, they give you a lil container of oil to take home to use on the brows every night before bed. It was weird for me tho. Mine somehow evaporated after the 3rd day of use. I did close the lid so not sure what happened. read more

My first time coming in and very likely last. Weird had a friend recommend this place so thought it'd be a good experience. A couple of things, customer service is mediocre at best. I had to ask my girl what her name was. She explained briefly what to do and started the process. It was really quick maybe 5 minutes if that. Other places have taken more time and felt way more thorough! Afterward I was expecting the powdering. She placed the powder brush in front of dryer so it'd blow onto me for a second and then handed me the dryer to finish "drying". I thought possibly the solution would dry on its own but nope and it was so sticky. I had another appointment to go and felt like I was sticking on chair. Felt so gross. Shared my experience with my friend and she was surprised and felt bad. The staff was so rude, didn't even offer me a beverage but offered it to other clients. Didn't even want to talk to me, rushed me out and in the room and ruined my event by making my skin so blotchy. i was referred to by a friend who comes here often she spoke so highly of it so i wanted to give them a shot, i've used other tanning services before but i don't have a go to place. i was considering this to be one but i don't think i would come again. shay the girl that did my tan was so sweet and really felt comfortable with her doing my tan. and the color itself that i got( i did the darkest shade of the 8 hour tan) was a great color, but the tan has lots of spoty areas and in general i noticed i was not even close to even out. my hands really make my spray tan super obvious i attached a photo from day four of the tan it was even much worse the first two days. also the spotting were in multiple areas but the back of my wrist was just really too mich especially since that was not how the right side looked at all. its a cute salon with a nice vibe but i have had better spray tans read more

I went last night at 8:15 to get my underarms sugared and I've been getting my underarms sugared monthly for over 2 years so this is not new to me. However the girl who did my sugaring was so ROUGH and did it in like 5 minutes, you can check the time I paid. it was extremely painful. I could feel how irritated my skin was getting bc she kept smacking and going over the same spot instead of being gentle and consistent. I know she could obviously tell I was in pain bc I was literally gritting my teeth and wincing. Once finished she just wiped my armpits with oil and quite actually ran out of the room. I get being one of her last clients but cmon lol. Underarm sugaring should not be that painful, can't imagine how they do other areas. Today, my armpits are extremely red and sensitive. My friend booked an appointment for us to get a spray tan before a trip. They have plenty of availability and are open pretty late which is super convenient. It was my first time getting a spray tan, which I mentioned several times to the girl, but she was just not friendly or informative at all. I was at least expecting her to go over after care especially since it was my first time but she was just checked out, which I understand since we were the last appointments of the night. Her attitude finally changed when we were checking out and I tipped her. I don't have anything to compare it to since it was my first time but everything was even throughout. I have gotten many spray tans here and LOVED them. Unfortunately, my last one just wasn't the greatest. All the staff here are great and the girl who did my tan this time was great as well (friendly and attentive). She used the same technique they all use, which has always resulted in a beautiful tan! However, I think there may have been something different about the formula. In fact, the time before this time I had an issue with it being extremely wet and not drying but the tan developed great so I didn't say anything. This time, the tan was also EXTREMELY wet and would not dry, but worse! I tried everything. I even asked for extra powder after (which she happily did for me). I blow dryed myself for what felt like forever and it was still wet! When I came out, I had a couple scuff marks just from putting on my baggy clothes and she said it would be fine when it dried. It was okay, but the color (I always gets dark) wasn't the same and appeared almost orange the next day. I also noticed this time it's been really patchy and only lasted 2-3 days. I haven't changed anything as far as after care so I'm not sure what happened. read more

First time experience of spray tanning. I have nothing to compare to. I would give a 5 star for how the tan turned out. I got compliments on my glowy tan. However 3 star for costumer service. When booking the appointment, no pre spray tan directions regarding shaving, exfoliating etc... Also with post spray tan barely any directions on what to do other than shower in 3 hrs and no soap for 24 hrs. Looking through some of these reviews, I noticed that they have tips of before and after spray tan service on their website which was hard to find before my service. Wish they informed me to read it prior. Felt sticky the whole 3 hrs. I couldn't wait to shower. The gal that sprayed me said the stickiness goes away in 30 mins. Also when looking online at their menu says organic rapid spray is $55 but at check out the day of its $60 for the rapid spray tan service. They need to update their website.
