This was an evening showing, mind you, and the total price was still only $30. We'd pay that price for two tickets alone in the other theatre we typically frequent. This auditorium was large, seat yourself, plenty of low lighting. We sat in the last row and still had a perfect view and good sound. The building is a little dated both inside and outside, but the chair was comfortable enough for an hour and a half movie. I'm sure we'll be back for another movie in the future.

The kids running it were rude, the popcorn was awful and the drinks were very watered down, unlike before 2018 or so when the hippy guy ran it and did everything. The seats are adequate, but not very comfortable as compared to other theaters. There is only 2 or 3 booster seats for kids, so first come first serve. When I was there, the floors were very sticky, the sound was all loud treble and some of the seats were completely broken, but still there to be used. They didn't even turn the lights on to leave when the movie was over. It's convenient if you live in the area and can't drive to Robinson Township, but I would suggest driving the extra 20 minutes and going to Cinemark if you can. My total cost for admittance, popcorn and a drink was around a dollar cheaper than Cinemark without any member discounts.

This year we walked up and down the streets where nutcrackers were lined up and it was so fun to look at each one. Along the way we would stop into stores and browse. They also have a market set up with local vendors selling a variety of goods, crafts and yummy eats and drinks! They also had Christmas trees outside with different themes. One benefited the Humane Society and you could write your pets name on a wooden ornament. Very cute. I really recommend you stop by. I think this is a cute activity for families and children or a date night. I will continue to visit!

David, his wife, his many children, and his servants lived in this stone house until 1794, when they fled to avoid David's arrest for his role in the Whiskey Rebellion. Depending on the month, Bradford House offers drop-in and scheduled tours. The drop-in tours are for individuals and small groups and have no admission fee, although donations are appreciated. Group tours should be arranged in advance and do have an admission fee. I read on their website that for groups they offer dining-room parties that serve teas and 18th-century-style foods--sounds fun! My husband and I were walk-ins for a tour. Two docents who were dressed in period clothing walked us through the house: the foyer, parlor, and dining room on the first floor; the beautiful mahogany stairwell and the simpler servants' stairwell; and the sewing room, children's room, master bedroom, and servants' quarters on the top floor. In addition, a docent walked us to the backyard that contained an herb garden, well, and log kitchen cabin (which has occasional hearth-cooking demonstrations). A small gift shop offered merchandise such as books and t-shirts. The docents throughly explained the history of the house, its architecture and renovation, the furniture (which is from the time period but was not owned by the Bradfords), etcetera, and they kindly answered our questions. I did not time our tour, but we were there for probably about one hour. Educational and interesting!

Been here a few a times for parties. Business parties, Christmas parties and recently wedding…read more Before the food and service was the best I've ever experienced. But recently I was there for a wedding and the food and management were awful. My friend was the groom at the wedding and he told me that even trying to book the party the management was unwilling to help stubborn and their pricing unreasonable and completely inflexible. It's almost like they didn't even want to bother taking my friends money for his wedding. I thought really bad for him because I was the one who told him how great the place was in the beginning. As for the food we had sliced filet mignon and crab cakes as the two main entrées which the wheeling country club is famous for they had won People's choice in the chefs auction in 2015. But they meat was tough and over cooked and the Crabcakes seems like something you get a long John silvers. It is my understanding that they replaced their manager and head chef the winner of those rewards with their golf pro and brought in some other head chef. I don't know what a golf pro has any business running a restaurant but if their content to running the place in the ground there headed in the right direction. If you need to book a party or special event. I would highly recommend booking someplace else because I'm sure you will be extremely disappointed in the way management will treat you.
