I decided to try again despite my initial lesson and I'm so glad I did. Vladimir, Viktor and Ervin are compassionate, attentive and informative. Their lessons were worlds apart from my initial lesson. I took 5 lessons with these guys and I got my license this morning! I booked the test through the school and it went *chef's kiss* so smooth and stress-free. Shout out to the receptionist as well for being super informative about what to expect/bring for the test. This rating would be 5 stars if not for my initial experience. My advice to potential students - and this honestly goes against my own ethos: if you're not vibing with one of the instructors, try another! Inconsistent, Unprofessional, and Ultimately a Waste of Time & Money I am writing this review on behalf of my father, a retired military Veteran from India, who just completed 7 lessons with Brookline Driving School. Unfortunately, his experience was overwhelmingly disappointing and I would strongly advise you to look elsewhere. Our primary issue was the complete lack of consistency between instructors. He had at least three different teachers, primarily switching between Ervin and Vitaly. While Ervin was patient and seemed to genuinely enjoy teaching, the same cannot be said for his counterpart. Vitaly was, frankly, obnoxious. He lacked basic respect for his students, was often loud and visibly frustrated, creating an environment where my father felt intimidated and unable to ask questions. If you don't have the patience for this job, why are you in it? To make matters worse, he made uncalled-for and stereotypical "jokes" about Indians being bad drivers, which was completely unprofessional and offensive. The biggest practical problem arose from this inconsistency. Ervin and Vitaly taught completely different techniques for parallel parking. One would say to do it one way, and the next lesson, the other would contradict it. This constant change in instruction confused my father daily and shattered his confidence. The culmination of this failure was on his road test. He failed specifically because of the parallel parking maneuver. The conflicting advice from his own instructors left him unsure of the correct method, leading to a critical error. I hold Brookline Driving School 100% responsible for this. We are cutting our losses and heeding our neighbors' recommendation to try Waltham Driving School instead. Save your time, your money, and your sanity--go somewhere else. I enrolled in the beginner private lesson package which I found from googling adult driving school reviews. I was initially nervous when I saw that multiple instructors would be working with me. After I emailed them with my worry, they called very quickly to explain the benefit of learning from different instructors, something that ultimately helped me feel prepared for the road test since you never know which examiner you'll get. My long awaited review of the Brookline Driving School is finally here, brought to you by a licensed driver thanks to this school. I purchased the "Driver's Education Course" bundle, which came out to $950 -- including a 30 driver's ed course via zoom, a 2 hour parent class, 12 hours of behind the wheel instruction, and 6 hours of observation (required as of May '21), and the opportunity to take a sponsored road test through the BDS. My 30 hour class was a one-week crash course from 10am-4pm (with a lunch break) held over zoom in the summer, which was very convenient for students. I was able to take it from home, and the class was highly interactive/immersive with encouraged student engagement, lectures, and videos. For a course with 150 participants, the process was smooth and efficient, and I took a lot of out. They made sure to cover very niche topics that would likely appear on the DMV's permit test, which was very helpful. The 12 hours of behind the wheel instruction was generally smooth, but it was a gamble based on a "culture fit", AKA how well you and your instructor got along. I enjoyed my lessons with Inna in particular, who was willing to take me on the highway for the first time per my request, and immersed me in Boston driving scene by having me tackle complicated rotaries in the city. I'm someone who likes a challenge and wanted to learn how to tackle tough situations on the road before I took my road test, and the instructors I worked with helped me do so. My only gripe with the behind-the-wheel sessions was that instructors would often take "personal breaks" to smoke/make personal purchases at a gas station during the session, which is quite unprofessional and an unproductive use of a paying customer's time. This could have been avoided and needs to evaluated as it is a recurring issue. Because I finished my driving lessons before May of 2021, I was not required to do observation hours, so that was less time behind the wheel. Finally, my road test was smooth sailing overall. It was a quick lap around Brookline High School -- including stopping, parallel parking, a three-point (K) turn, a 50 ft back up, and overall driving performance. It took about 10 minutes, and I was licensed! The longest part was waiting in line. Much better than taking an hour long road test with the DMV. Keep in mind Massachusetts driver's tests are among the hardest in the country, so I'd assume pass rates are higher with tests administered by driving schools rather than DMVs-- just a subtle perk. Overall, I'm pretty happy that I chose the Brookline Driving School because I became a much more confident driver, and felt like I got my bang for my buck with this business. I've only heard horror stories from this place for YEARS, so when it came down to actually going, I had my guard up. All I can say is this was my general experience: (Not all the time! But most!) -Dirty cars -Staff smoking or abruptly stopping lesson TO SMOKE (Yes it happened three times to me!) -Extremely rude couple of staff members -No curriculum or lessons taught during the "lessons" -Lady on the phone to call and make appointments was always nice and patient, helped me a ton in person as well -Inappropriate comments made to female (specifically young) drivers twice -Slow appointment service, which is expected! It's a busy company, no complaints on that but be ready! -Driving test was straight forward and simple, actually had fun -Very very VERY odd times for driving. You have a 2:30 appointment? It'll start at 2:15 or 2:45 with or WITHOUT you. Oh it's an hour long? It'll either end 30 minutes too early or 30 overtime. I have a flexible schedule so I wasn't too thrown off, and I get navigating traffic can be super difficult, but again just be ready! -Quiet or difficult to understand staff members -Angry staff members, I am a firm believer teens and just people in general need to get used to someone being harsh on them, but when I witnessed a teenage girl getting yelled at because she didn't understand the instructor, her hand was shaking on the wheel, was toltold to "stop driving!" Because she's a "stupid girl!" Is something I cannot look past. I mean wtf man? -No patience for mistakes, people should be ready to drive in lessons, but mistakes happen. Yes it's scary because it's on the road, but simple SMALL mistakes should not warrant a full on tantrum from staff -Staff that will sit in silence the ENTIRE lessons only occasionally whispering "left. right. pull over. back up." Erwin was the best instructor I had here. He explained what we were doing and didn't yell at me for minor mistakes. I reccomend anyone choosing instructor to pick him. He is calm and respectful. I did not have a good experience with Jiri and Yuri. They would insult me and give unclear directions and then talk to me like i'm stupid when I didn't understand. I was turning out of BDS parking lot, and instructor said "The 1st lane" I didn't know what he meant so i pointed at the left lane, and he just repeated himself. I was confused and went into the middle. Cue, "Where the hell are you going? we're turning right" and I said I don't know what "the 1st lane" is and he said word for word "what? are you in elementary school or high school?" He wanted me to go in the right lane, but I never heard anyone refer to it that way and I don't feel like I deserved to be called stupid for getting confused on my 3rd time ever driving. Yuri gave me a lecture on "insubordination" after I asked him to be less harsh and aggressive with how he speaks to me. I just stopped talking and let him tell me "when instructors see you on their list, they will cancel. there's a word for this, insubordination" A lot of people have complained about the smoking, I don't mind that so much but I feel like being talked to like i'm a moron and instructors having no patience gave me anxiety behind the wheel, causing me to make mistakes. DO NOT BOOK WITH KELI ESTEVES. She called to reschedule my 7am appointment at 7am, saying she was in Worcester and would arrive at 7:40. I agreed to do the lesson at 9am instead. However I should have rescheduled with a different instructor because she is an aggressive, impatient, racist instructor. She kept referring to me as Namaste because I'm a brown woman, instead of my first name which is on my permit she was given. Statements like "Hahaha, I know you Namaste people like to overthink", "Namaste, look at this paper", "Namaste, you're not listening to me," were made. When she wasn't bragging about her students or oversharing personal details, her tone and approach was unsafe, aggressive, and unbelievably irate. She forced another student to drive onto an island in an intersection for an ambulance in nonmoving traffic. When I called the school to make a complaint the owner Ilya insisted she didn't mean anything bad for her racist remarks and refused to give me a refund even though I did not learn anything useful and was instead triggered!!!!! This is a long overdue review. I took lessons with Kurti T. in late 2022, and passed on my first try. He is very patient/gentle, professional, and cares a lot about the success of his students. You will absolutely be in great hands! I was assigned to a number of different instructors initially. They were all fairly good, though they each had their own styles and preferences. After my first rotation with Kurti, I knew I had to switch all of my remaining sessions to just working with him. And that was the best decision I made. Kurti goes above and beyond. He will give you a very helpful list of rules and some common mistakes that you should avoid during the road test. He was willing to schedule a 6am session the morning of my road test, so that I can practice on the day of, and calm my nerves. Most importantly, his teaching style really spoke to me. Kurti makes you feel confident as a driver. He points out where you can improve while you are driving, but also gives you genuine compliments on things you are doing well, which boosts your own self-confidence during the process. Kurti not only tells you all the tips from his experience, but he also explains the physics behind driving a car. This form of teaching really helped deepen my understanding of how what I'm doing as a driver is translating into how the car is moving. Not only did I feel well prepared to pass the road test, but I also felt confident about being a safe and responsible driver. I'd also highly recommend taking highway lessons with Kurti. I enjoyed my lessons in this driving school. I enrolled on a 5 hours regular lessons (discounted program). I am an adult learner and drove on a different side of the road in my home country. When I moved overseas, I stopped driving and content on having my husband to take the wheel. The need for me to be able to drive is heightened once we moved to a different neighborhood in Boston. I will echo the feedback left by Natalie T. (scroll down to read hers). If you have specific expectations for this school and their instructors, I would say come in with an open mind and heart in addition to keeping expectations low. Instructors come with different personalities, demeanors, teaching styles, humor and most of the time, the school will assign you an instructor to learn with based on availability - so, you get what you get (at least this was my experience). I had the opportunity to learn with Jiri Prokes (2 lessons) & Kurti Taulant (1 lesson). Both Eastern European men and like Natalie said: straight shooters and not people who will fawn over you. You can't be too sensitive. Both of my instructors are direct, straight to the point and does not sugarcoat their words. Their tone and the delivery might sound abrasive to some people, but I can see past that. In my personal opinion, I perform and improve better with brutal honesty. My main objective here is to pass my road test and make the most of my 5 hour lessons. If you go with that mindset, you won't feel upset or have no hard feelings if they provide what you might think is a harsh feedback. Both of my instructors showed up in a very timely manner and demonstrated patience in our lessons. The feedback while you are behind the wheel is constant and useful. They provided tips on improving your technique. They appreciate any questions you may have, so come equipped with anything driving related. They care (they REALLY do, if you can see past the abrasiveness) in their own way - besides, they genuinely want you to pass the road test. I find that once you have broken past the introduction, Jiri is witty with a dry sense of humor and Kurti is a gentle giant with a calm and firm demeanor. I was fortunate to be able to have decent conversations with them so, that made my lessons very enjoyable. For future students, please understand that if you have to cancel your lesson ALWAYS contact the school directly and not your instructor. Even if you have the instructor's number, cancellation request is always through the school, never the instructor. If you can't reach the school on the phone, try again (yes, keep trying) or leave a VM and they'll contact you back. No emails, please. If the school does not receive your cancellation request directly from you, they will assume that the lesson is still on. The instructor that is assigned to you will not be aware that you are cancelling your lesson and will show up at your designated location. There will be no refunds if you are a no show. Keep that in mind if you have to cancel your lesson for whatever reason. Be conscientious, considerate and mindful of other people's time because it does impact everyone involved if you have a inability to plan ahead. I will also share that I took my road test today (7/22) and passed, thanks to Jiri's and Kurti's lessons. I took my lessons with them to heart and applied all that I have learnt. I came into this with 0 prior driving experience and a tight timeline (I needed to get my license in under 2 months). I signed on for the 10 hour package and have been very happy with my results. By default they assign you with a different instructor every time but do yourself a favor: book a ton in advance and ask for Kurti or Ervin. They were both excellent! Very patient, broke down everything in the simplest of terms and Kurti went above and beyond to make sure I was scheduled with him. I've failed the road test but this time after taking lessons from BDS I passed! before so I registered for the 10 hrs lesson package. Ilya and Veronika, who schedule the lessons have been SUPER nice and flexible. She is always willing to answer questions and help meet everyone's needs. Because of COVID there were many many complications and lots of uncertainty, but both Ilya and Veronika have been awesome and really accommodating. Brenda, the driving instructor I mainly had was fantastic. She was helpful but not overbearing. I ended up taking the road test thru BDS as well. My driving instructor took me through different possible road test routes to get used to the area. The BDS managers/owners are there to greet you and get you set up on the day of the exam. Buyers be aware: - no communication - no response -drivers don't show up and don't notify you - they collect money but don't tell you what it is for - Unreliable and unsafe cars It took my son 1 year and 3 months to get through everything. He did the Feb break online drivers Ed. They take money in advance for driving hours and they won't let you book more then 2 driving session or observations hours every month. It can take up to 6- 8 months to get through your hours. But they will collect all money upfront with out having the driving instructors available. Lastly, very unsafe, in the middle of a very busy main road while my son was driving the TNT car broke down and my son had to navigate to get them over to a safe parking lot. During the very scaring car breakdown the driver made a comment "not this again". That was extremely unsettling and thank god it was his final and last hour. read more

My experience with this driving school was awful. I paid for 2 (45 min) lessons, and the instructor always was late. For my last class They called me to reschedule the time and when I got to the office I had to wait more than an hour to get the lesson. I also used them to Sponsored me for the road test and The owner Lee took it as a joke. He told me he knew people at the rmv so ge could move the time of my test and asked me to get there 2 hrs before my test, I did it for no reason because he showed up 1:30 hr later with a student in the car, with not organization whatsoever and asked one of his buddy to gave me the test, which I failed and I wouldn't be surprised if he has a business going on with the rmv people to fail students in order to make them take more classes and pay him more money. The only reason why I don't give them 1 start is because the other instructor was very nice and patient. I don't recommend this driving school at all. I have never in my life wished there was a "negative stars" option more than I do now. I should have known this business was shady from the way they do their booking. You have to pay for the lesson and THEN schedule it. When I was on the phone asking about availability they told me I needed to pay first. Why would I pay for a service when I'm not even sure WHEN I'll receive that service. But stupid me, I really needed the practice so I paid and ending up booking an appointment two weeks out. Day before appointment I get a confirmation email and I think everything is school. I was scheduled for a 7AM one hour lesson. I live 10 miles away so I woke up at 5:30 and scheduled a Lyft ride giving myself ample time to get there on time or maybe even a little early (just in case there was traffic). I hadn't been checking my phone because I was preoccupied with getting to the lesson as my road test is a week away, but as iI'm halfway to the pickup spot I noticed I got a text at 6:20AM (40 min before my appointment). Keep in mind they require a 24 hour notice to cancel yet they gave me a measly 40 mins and not even a call. They didn't bother to officially cancel in the system so I didn't even get a cancellation even. Again, not even a PHONE CALL. So I call the main number to get an explanation as to what happened. I had to leave several messaged before they even called me back. I think I was speaking to the boss. HE WAS THE RUDEST SUPERVISOR/MANAGER I'VE EVER HAD THE MISFORTUNE OF DEALING WITH. As someone who has worked in customer service for several years, the way he spoke to me was DISGUSTING. He offered no explanation as to why they canceled or what they would do to fix it and then as I was explaining all that I did to make sure I got there on time and how disappointed I was, he hung up in my life. I got maybe 5 words in during the entire conversation. Needless to say: AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! I passed my road test in first go. Being a 31 years old adult who has never driven before, I was a bit nervous about learning to drive. But I had a wonderful experience with Brookline Driving School. I would recommend it to everyone. Booking driving lessons and road test is pretty easy and their front desk associate is always helpful. I took 10 private lessons and 20 regular lessons. I had most of my lessons with Ervin who always showed up in a timely manner, is very polite and calm. The best thing about him is that he is very patient and only controls the steering wheel and brakes when it is absolutely necessary so the student can experience with minimum help and learns well from mistakes. He was always open to how and what I felt comfortable with and was very understanding if I had any requests regarding my lessons. In addition to this, he always explained really well to any driving related questions I had. I took 3 lessons with Kurti which were equally good. He is also a great instructor and made me feel confident going into my road test. He also explains everything to the point and observes minute details like how early and when you should turn. I would recommend taking lessons with Ervin and Kurti. Out of all my 30 lessons, I had one bad experience with one of the instructors I am not mentioning here. I talked to the manager and he made sure that none of my future lessons would be scheduled with him. For future students, I would suggest to book the lessons and road test as soon as possible. All he did during the session was asking me to do reverse, parallel parking, etc. When I failed to do any of them properly, he was not trying to correct my wrong moves, instead he was saying keep going straight. The ladies on the phone are great and super helpful , ask questions and they will help . I took a lesson with Brenda and Eugene ( i could be spelling his name wrong ) . Tell them what you need and of your nervous be honest, any kind of test makes me nervous . They will take you around the route of the actually test . On the day of the test the owner is there giving advice and will answer any questions you have .. just know if you go to the school on weekends the office is closed so the instructor will met you in the parking lot and you must pay before end of the day Friday ( which Is Fair ) and if you need to get to the area for the road test they will end your lesson in the area . This school is a scam. Their 24 hour cancellation policy is bogus. We called on Friday to cancel a Saturday class and they said they never received the message and charged us $70. Also they shorten the lesson and say they will give you credit for hours even if they don't give the full lesson. I regret sending my son to this driving school. I would rate the school itself 3.5/5. Booking appointments and getting into contact with the school is easy. It is a popular school for the Brookline area (especially with Brookline high school students) so sometimes they have limited availability, so best to sign up early if you can. I scheduled all my rides and road test 1-2 months out. They can also put you on a waiting list for a specific day/time slot in case anyone cancels and then you can fill the slot. The school also has a portal so you can sign up for an account and pay your fees online. The portal will also have your upcoming appointments so you know when you are scheduled to drive. The school will email you reminders about your upcoming appointment so you can be aware. This reminder includes the name of an instructor, so if it happens to be an instructor that you don't work well with, you can call over to the office and ask for a switch. The school offers Saturday driving test so it makes it easy for me to schedule as I work during the week. On the day of test, someone from the driving school will be there to check you in and go over some last minute reminders/tips before you take your test, and I think that was helpful for me. I would also recommend schedule a driving lesson with the school right before your test just so you can prepare yourself and get you back in gear (pun intended). I'm an adult learner so my driving experience can differ from teenage learner. I have limited driving experience before signing up for my driving lessons here, and I don't have the resources to practice additional driving at home outside of my scheduled driving time. My overall experience with the driving instructors is positive; most of them took me out to the Brookline High School area and showed me the potential testing routes on the day of the test. But of course there are instructors that I prefer not to have. If you can, I'd recommend book with James P., Inna K., and Marqueritte CD; they were all very pleasant, kind, upbeat, supportive, and have given me many great driving tips. All these aforementioned instructors deserve a 5/5 and a big pay raise! I also had Viktor B. and Jiri P., and I had an ok driving lesson with each of them. I would not recommend Yuriy G.; he is not as welcoming, very strict, and frequently yelled at me whenever I did something wrong, which really affected my confidence and thus my driving. I did have to say I drove with this school before and failed my test with them the first time; a lot of it was my fault (and my nerves), but I also think I did not have consistency with a specific instructor and/or was not paired with instructors that were encouraging and patient, so I was all in my head and did not have the best tips. I do think the second time around (and I passed my test this time), my experience with the school is much better thanks to the nice and cheering instructors that I mentioned above. read more

It's impossible to get driving lessons as they fill up fast. You're lucky to get one lesson every 6 weeks. But more importantly, the instructors are creepy and flirt with all the 16, 17 year old girls. One instructor encouraged a student to dress "Skanky". I passed my road test yesterday!! I've always been nervous about driving and avoided getting my license for a very long time. I was very nervous because there was a mix up in the scheduling of my lessons causing me to be booked for lessons starting the week of my road test and the admin staff was very reluctant to apologize and admit they made a mistake although they didn't have an issue rebooking my sessions. From there it was smooth sailing. I've had 5 hours worth of lessons between Monday and Friday the took my road test on Saturday. I was so shocked when the examiner asked me if I've had a license before because I drive very well!!! If you choose Brookline Driving school, request to be booked with Eric. I learned a lot in the very short time I had with him. He was very clear, calm, and professional. I was leaning toward giving the driving school 4 stars for the booking mishap but the owner was at the test site giving everyone tips , positive energy and encouragement the entire he was there (I came about two hours early, I witness him give every person who showed up the same kindness). The last minute tips were definitely helpful and contributed to my passing the road test! I got my license a little over a year ago and kept forgetting to leave a review. Better late than never! Don't pay attention to the low rated reviews, this place is great! Purchased the 10 hour package plus an extra hour and a half the day before the driving exam. Had four different instructors all of them were really good at keeping you calm and learn efficiently especially Eric. I know the reviews may not seem good but honestly I loved this driving school! My boyfriend, friend and I all passed our road test with them. Ask for Vitaly Tverskoy he is amazing and so helpful and motivating. I had about 10 hours total with them, 5 in august and 5 hours before my test. He watches you then let's you know what you need to work on and will have you keep perfecting whatever it is until you got it!! Definitely worth it so book with them it your looking to get your L!! ***only thing I will say is Dmitry wasn't my favorite...had him once and he was pretty rude also not super helpful at all, but your experience with him may be different! read more

My situation: I have driven in my home country but never applied for a US driver's license in the decade that I've lived here as public transportation was very convenient and I always had friends who could drive me when I needed help. I was finally put in a position where I just had to drive to and from work and I was recommended Brookline Driving School from a friend. I booked a 5 hour lesson + road test package from the school. Booking this was easily done within 10 minutes of calling their number (I had applied online on their website beforehand and called the next morning). My instructors Keli and Marguerite were both very knowledgeable and experienced in helping students with the road test. For example, they were able to list specific actions that would lead to automatically failing the road test. In the short time that I was with them, they were able to quickly pick up on my driving skills and gave me specific feedback/tips on how I could do better so that I would pass the road test. I am very thankful for their help as I was able to pass the road test on my first attempt. I would highly recommend them! Edit: Regarding timeline, I called early April to book the lessons and took the exam in the middle of May. I passed my road test today so I wanted to share my experience with using this driving school. I had three lessons prior to my test. I went from being terrified to go behind the wheel a few months ago to feeling confident and excited to being able to drive! As for scheduling my road test/lessons, the front desk lady was sweet and very helpful when booking. She made sure that I understood the cancellation policy and anything I needed to know for my lesson. I had two lessons with Keli which she is absolutely wonderful! She showed me exactly what I needed to be prepared for and was patient with me. She explained everything clear and told me if I do exactly what she said, I'm guaranteed to pass. I was sad I didn't have her prior to my test but she made me feel like I was ready. Before my test today, I had Jiri as my instructor. My experience with him wasn't so great. He didn't seem to have much patience and was very strict. I'm overly cautious which seemed to annoy him. I made a few errors which I was aware of. But he made me feel terrible especially before my test. I didn't feel confident whatsoever leaving my lesson. He was rude and I definitely don't recommend him if you have the option to pick your instructor. Overall, my experience with this school was great. The money is well worth it because you get to learn the correct way and they try their best to make you prepared to take the test. read more

Yay, I got my driver's license! However, it took some time. My first lesson was with the instructor Jiri, and he made me feel so bad about myself that after the lesson when I got out of the car I cried as I walked home. This was my first time ever driving a car, and I had let the driving school know beforehand. But in a very thick accent that I could hardly understand, all he did was YELL! I did the best I could to keep it together during the lesson, but when I was done, it took me 2 years to schedule another because I was so traumatized from being yelled at and ridiculed my first time behind the wheel. A few months ago I really needed to get my license so I finally bit the bullet and scheduled some more driving lessons. This time I had Margueritte. SUCH A BETTER EXPERIENCE! She actually viewed me as a human and taught me things, with juuuust enough hard ass in her where I didn't feel like I wanted to cry after the lesson. She was a bus driver in Boston for 30 years so she is an expert. After Margueritte, I had a lesson with Yuri, who was practically a carbon copy of Jiri, a total asshole, and in the middle of the lesson requested we go back to the school because he needed to go to the bathroom for 20 minutes. Needless to say, after that I scheduled all my lessons with Margueritte. One thing to know: All of these instructors are hard asses, so if you're a softie, just be mentally prepared that you're going to be berated no matter what. BUT, here's the thing: they OVER prepare you. Because they were such hardasses, you truly learn quickly, and even though they make you feel like an absolute dummy who can't drive, they're making you into the absolute best drivers. And the magic touch- the test is RIDICULOUSLY easy. I'm talking, drive around in a square for 7 minutes, boom you're done. This school has a special situation with the RMV where they come to the school, and it's actually the easiest test out of anywhere in MA. Why? Because they know the instructors are hard-asses and that they drill the students with all the knowledge of driving. Do yourself a favor and schedule some lessons here with Margueritte. Yesterday I finally passed my road test! As a 31 year old learner who doesn't have a car and almost never drove in my entire life, I feel well prepared after 15 hours lessons with brookline driving school. All the instructors I had are encouraging, nice and chilled and have good sense of humor, which makes the class enjoyable. Big shoutout to Kurti Taulant, whom I took most of my classes with. He is very patient, responsible, encouraging and fun and he is such a great instructor. I would say he takes most of the credits helping me to pass the test even on a rainy foggy day. I had a great experience with Brookline Driving School. I took a class and the road test with them. An hour of class would cost $50 and the road test was $130. My class instructor was very polite and very resourceful. As I already knew how to drive, She gave all the tips necessary for the road test. On the day of road test, the sponsor/owner is present to give you last minute tips and guides you not to make silly mistakes. Overall, I would strongly recommend Brookline Driving School over any other Schools out there. read more

Very disappointed. Unprofessional school. The lessons lack crucial information for driving in real life. The instructors are very rude and disrespectful. Do not recommend going here. Do yourself a favor, choose ANY driving school but this one. Based on the previous reviews, the customer service here has always been bad and specific instructors were very rude. I somehow disregarded the review and chose this school. It was a terrible decision. I purchased a 5-hour private lesson package and had four different instructors. Out of all, Kurti was good because he was patient and pretty funny. Bryan was chill. Dmitry Krichker was the WORST. He essentially yelled for the first half of the lesson because he was upset about the way I turn. After a few minutes of practicing turns, he said "You are never going to pass the road test," I thought to myself if I could pass right now, why would I be taking driving lessons? He should be a comedian instead of an instructor and I appreciate his critical thinking. In the second half, all he did was sigh, look at his phone, and sit there in silence. I called the office regarding this lesson and the office manager asked a few funny questions. Highlights include "Did you ask him to provide feedback? If not, he doesn't have to tell you anything." and "Did you ask him to stop yelling?". Seriously, if they quit their jobs and start a late-night show, it would be a huge success given they are all humorous individuals. It was my fault that I expect an instructor to give instructions/feedback during a driving lesson. Expectations should not be so high, right? At the end of the conversation, she said she would call back after speaking with the instructor because she would not do anything before hearing from both sides, and she would figure out something regarding this unsatisfied lesson. Of course, three weeks later, they still have not contacted me. And I do not expect to ever hear from them. It amazes me that this driving school put an effort into maintaining constantly bad customer service. If you are reading this, do not even bother taking lessons here.
