DO NOT BUY SONNY ANGELS FROM HERE. Absolute disappointment when my friend and i opened the boxes. The heads were separated from the body which was so odd. In the pictures shown I got the white kitten, the flower one, the valentine bunny one, and this candy hipper. (The rhino and Lamb are real and i bought them in Newbury Comics) You can clearly see how they are fakes. It's ridiculous as two sonny's were $32.66. Not once did the girl (cashier) mention that they were fake, i even asked her how often she gets shipment and if they sold them at their actual store in Brooklyn. (i purchased these at their booth in Bryant Park) She even stated that they bring all the good blind boxes to the booth and how it's best to purchase them now rather than later. Continuing my exploration of Greenpoint/Wiliamsburg, I stumbled upon Stone Flower, located on Bedford Avenue. This store is a charming shop mainly for young girls/teens; however, there's plenty merchandise for adults. There's costume jewelry, funky winter hats and gloves, apparel, hair accessories, handbags and more. I ended up buying a smartphone sensor friendly (meaning, I do not have to remove them) pair of knit gloves and some hair fasteners. The gloves are for aesthetic purposes since they most likely will not keep warm (but just 19 bucks). Cute shop. read more

Just discovered this doll house of a store.....I thought walked into a dream....... My dream quickly turned into a nightmare. Firstly, let me give the positives, as they have no reviews at this time. The store looks like a glittery princess room. They have everything from little cute accessories to garden party dresses. They even have cute little aprons for your Susie homemaker days. The prices are actually reasonable and the presentation is thought out. Let's go to the help ( because they clearly are not trained in customer service) Fail. They do greet you when you walk in but are busy having their own personal convos which brings us to the issue at hand. While we were there a group of girls stole (or so the sales girl thought) Perhaps if they were more attentive, this would not occur. After this happening, she abruptly comes over to my sister and I and grabs my sisters journal and said "Someone just stole so I have to take your things to front, if you're buying it" SHADE. Of course being a big sister, I jumped to my sister's defense and said she is buying that but still looking. Also, you passed multiple customers to come ask her for her items.( and not even ask, remove from her possession) So grown people don't steal? Her whole aggressive and accusatory tone was a complete turn off. Especially taking the journals from us. I also had an apron in my hand to purchase. I then asked her so why did you pass everyone and come to us if someone stole. She said "I am going to get to everyone" AGAIN, why us first? Everyone has things in their hand. She they caught an attitude because I spoke up. A proper salesperson would have said something along the lines of "Would you like me to hold these at the register for you while you continue shopping?" Especially since my sister and I were the only ones with shopping bags, as we spent the day shopping. Perhaps she forgot that I was a paying customer and lost her mind for a second. As you may know, we didn't buy all the items we planned on getting. I was actually looking for trinkets for friends so would have purchased more. We were so excited when we walked in. All to leave with this bitter taste in my mouth. Needless to say, I will not be returning. I did buy the apron, only because I need it for my painting class but otherwise, it would have stayed right there . I was ready to tell the world about this cute little shop but until they remix the staff, I will not be returning. Note to business owners, don't leave classless workers managing your store, that's the sure shot way to go out of business quickly. The three stars a strictly for the store presentation. read more

The worst experience every.. I was in a rush and travelled all the way to the store it took me about 30 mins one way. It was 6:57 and the door was locked!!! I knocked on the and the rude ass cashier pretended not to even hear me.. Then at 6:59 she looked over and said they are closed! The cashier had two customers left and she still didn't open! I stumbled upon Stone Flower while gift shopping in Williamsburg. I entered and was the only customer in the shop. The store has cute items and I was happy with the amount of jewelry to choose from in front of the store. However, the customer service was so poor and the reason for my 3 stars. The sales attendant didn't ask if I needed any assistance which I thought was very odd. She was also short with me when I had a question about the item I wanted to purchase. In the end, I purchased a scarf and earrings which isn't much. She asked if I needed a bag and I said yes and she seemed upset about that. For two small items, she gave me a small bag where the scarf was sticking out of. I asked for a larger bag and she said they didn't have any. The store has larger items so do they send customers off with no bag?? Odd service. Plenty of other stores to choose from. read more

Me and my friend went there to buy a gift, necklace, and it was super beautiful. I completely forgot that I even saw this place until I recently stumbled upon the receipt I got from buying the necklace. Now that I have the location I am definitely returning back to that store to buy something for me and other people. Stumbled upon this place because my girlfriend fell in love with their decor from the outside. We didn't expect what we found in there. The store was filled with pieces of America's past you just can't find anywhere else. From baseballs to G.I. Joes to the Playboy magazine (yes, Playboy is part of American culture and forever changed American journalism), there were many pieces in the store that made for great conversations. The owner, Mike, was courteous and enthusiastic about his store and shared with us his passion for American culture. Overall it was a great experience that brought up nostalgic feelings and we will definitely stop by again! read more

The people that work here are very friendly but I don't think this store knows their merchandise when it comes to the jewelry. I bought a necklace for my girlfriend who has a nickel allergy. I was told all jewelry in the store was hypoallergenic and nickel free. Well, she wore the necklace and broke out in a bad rash. Again, the people there were nice enough to let us exchange. She picked out some new earrings for herself. Again we were guaranteed hypoallergenic and nickel free, and again, a rash behind her ears broke out. Be wary if you buy jewelry from them. read more
