My wife and I are Christmas shopping and come across a Brooks Brothers Factory Outlet. I'm a Brooks Brothers guy, I enjoy the quality and style of their clothing. Sure enough, I find pair of Green Corduroy pants on sale. I'm looking in the mirror, great fit on the thighs and butt, sold! I'm wearing them now with my favorite Cashmere sweater. You're not going to find a lot of shocking deals at Brooks Brothers, but the store does offer good quality for a fair price. This has been a regular stop on my outlet runs for years, and it's proved to be a reliable friend in helping me restock work clothes and all things prep. The men's shirts are a fair deal. The current offerings at 4/$189 or 2/$109 are reasonable market prices for classic, well-made shirts that always look professional. You also can find better deals on clearance, where men's shirts are currently at $29.99 (which certainly is a bargain for shirts of this quality). The ties also are well made and well priced at $39.75 apiece. As above, it's not the steal you might hope for at an outlet, but it's a decent price for a good tie. They have a wide range of striking patterns in both neck and bow ties. They also have a wall of suits priced at $349 each or $599 for a pair. The traditional gold standard for men's suits is 100% wool, and I'd just point out that all of the suits I looked at on my last visit were a wool blend, meaning they contained at least some polyester. That doesn't make these suits a bad buy, but you want to understand what you are paying for. Just for reference, there are good quality men's retailers online that sell 100% wool suits for about $400. The associates are generally kind and helpful without being intrusive, and I rarely manage to make it through a visit without someone offering to help. read more

This is a large BB outlet store, but has limited womens clothing. But it does have great sales most Holiday weekends, so look for those. The help here can be hit or miss, depends who is working I suppose. 3 stars for a chain. read more

Well, you take a shirt that goes for $100, cut it by 60% and then another 15% off... well, that's a pretty decent deal. Friend who came here for the first time ended up with more than $600 worth of shirts! The coupon book requires spending more than $150 at a time to get the discount, but three shirts will get you there. Corporate discounts may provide a better price, though. Staff is fairly attentive. And if they don't show something at the display, ask, they probably can supply it. It's not quite the same as a full-fledged Brooks Brothers staff attention, but it's still pretty decent. read more

I did not have any high expectation given that it was a factory outlet. However, it was not a pleasant experience. The customer service was not awful, leaving a really bad tastes in my mouth. The staffs were busy talking, joking around and did not put any effort in help any customers out. The overall place was a mess, the placement of the cloth was all over and it was really hard to navigate the store itself. After browsing around and shopping, despite having good deals the products did not really look polished. I am not sure if I will ever visit this place again read more

My fiance ended up getting two suits plus two extra pants here. It was a great deal! When we first walked into the Common a stranger asked us if we wanted coupons because she printed an extra copy. Score for us! That saved us an extra 20% I think which brought the price down to $600. We were very pleased. So definitely print those coupons before coming to shop! The sales ladies were running around but very willing to help/look in the back for a size. They said the pants run very small which we could tell but I would say it just means a size small. They run out of the more popular sizes (32-34) but you can find what you want if you search and ask them to look in the back. read more

Went here yesterday. No one was helping me out so I decided to help myself. I took some shirts to try on, went to bring them to the dressing room. Somebody started running after me telling me that I should get my size through their trial shirts. I took their advice and got my size through their trial shirts but of course I still wanted to try the shirts themselves to see if they looked good on me. To my surprise they would NOT let me try them on. What would they have dressing rooms for. I wouldn't take no for an answer because it was unbelievable. Then, this short lady with glasses told me really rudely and sarcastically that if it really made me happy then I could try them on. I stormed out of there so upset. I have never had this kind of horrible service in my life. If they don't want to serve customers they should just close their store down. read more

I'll never ever visit Brooks Brothers due to their poor service. I was buying some shirts for my parents(only because they asked me to and they're pretty loyal customers), literally no staffs helped me or greet me until I asked them and I visited the store twice!!!! staffs even do not know the size chart for men's shirts!!! How is that be possible as a brand who does tailored clothes for years, how do u guys train your staffs!! Even though I end up buying four shirts, the money is worthless spent, so disappointed. When I was checking out, the staff is so ignorant when I was asking him question, he just doesn't care no matter what. I thought maybe I overreacted to their service, somehow when I looked at the reviews of other ppl or at other locations, I'm shocked, everyone is talking about the quality of service. If u can't operate your store with the most basic service, u better closed it for sake!!! Prices are good but do Not use their fedex service. The package which was a valentine present got lost. They had not requested a signature and three different people took a week to find it. The salesmen and delivery manager came up with three different stories and were never apologetic. Customer service in my case had no "service. ". The customer service in this particular store is atrocious. The manager got confrontational very quickly, and made me feel very unwelcome, while I was making a standard exchange (made necessary due to a mistake made by the previous store I visited). That being said normally in other locations I have had nothing but positive experiences, which probably added to the reason I was so shocked to be treated poorly. They were patient and helpful, taking the time and effort to help me do the exchange despite having inadvertently lost my receipt. We went to the outlets to find my son a suit for a sweet sixteen party and I cannot begin to tell you how helpful Tanya was. We came there 5 minutes before closing and she was quick and was able to find a matching shirt with a perfect fit suit. She was very diligent and organized to find the perfect suit in seconds. This is a fabulous way to get well made classic clothes and accessories at great prices. Customer service? geesh guys - this is bargain-ville. You want hand holding service - go tot the Madison Avenue store. This crew has to re fold and stock at break neck speed. 'Sorry we don't have your size' - that's what 70% off is all about.
