I understand the procedures needed to be taken with the recent shortage of supply, but continuing to question me every single month and TELLING me I am not prescribed those things or that they have no idea why it's not ready or why their computer doesn't have it "registered" is completely not my fault or job to know! The last 8 months that I have been getting my medication from them I have not left there ONCE without crying because of the way they treat me. Absolute DISGUSTING behavior from healthcare workers. Shame on you for ever making someone feel bad about needing certain medication. Can't even imagine how they treat other people. Do better.

The next morning I received a notice that they cancelled my order. The machines were not working to print photo books. I was on my way to the event where I was taking the books and I had to scramble to send the books to the other Walgreens in Lufkin. Luckily the photo associate was able to handle my order immediately. He was amazing! I would definitely use the Walgreens on Frank Ave for all your photo needs.

I get that everyone is human. I never complained and continued to support this pharmacy. However, after today I am done. I need a specific medication for migraines that is taken monthly. I sent my refill in on the app like I always do. I went to pick it up and after waiting about 15 minutes they tell me I need a PA. I asked the tech, confused, "Since when?" She responded very rudely with, "Since now. You'll have to call your doctor tomorrow." I informed her that I never needed a PA before and it just seemed odd that I do now. I called my insurance and they fixed the issue right away. I go back in and they are already working on it, which is great. Then they tell me my coupon for my co-pay (which is $200) isn't working. I download a new one, activate it, and give them that. Still apparently isn't working. At this point I've been waiting inside the pharmacy for an hour and a half and they are technically closed. I'm now being told (by the same rude tech) that I'll have to try again tomorrow because... wait for it... THEY DO NOT EVEN HAVE IT IN STOCK. I would love to know why I wasn't informed of this from the start. Instead of being with my kids after working all day, I sat in a pharmacy for over an hour and a half for no reason. I'm officially done with Abeldt's and will be moving all mine and my family's prescriptions to Lufkin Pharmacy first thing in the morning. Editing to add: Spoke with Erika, a manager this morning. She was very kind and apologized for the situation. She made sure everything was taken care for today. I am still moving pharmacies, but appreciate all Erika did to help.

My review is in regards to the pharmacy, the attitude from the staff and the pharmacist…read more So basically in short if you have a chronic illness that does require a controlled substance I do not recommend this pharmacy, today the staff was denying my medication I explain the app says it's ready a couple days after they receive it... istaff says no it'll be an additional day from that and the state will deny my medication .....and was frankly rude kinda made me feel like a junkie, I explain that I'm a chronic patient and the rules she's explaining does not pertain to me, She's not educated enough to comment so I'm connected to the actual pharmacist........ now I have a chat with them, explain my situation of meds and dose change and etc etc pharmacist from there is basically raising her voice also making me feel some kind of way and I again explain my situation...... after being accused of abusing my medication and I have to defend myself with this pharmacy they run my prescription........ "it'll be ready after lunch" So I had to educate the pharmacist and the staff on state laws all while being treated like a certain kind of person.
