I got my first root canal done in the fall, and I got my crown put on today. I was absolutely terrified. Dr. Cantwell is so gentle and so good at what he does. I healed up very well from my root canal and I got the Crown prep today and that went extremely smooth. Everyone at the reception desk is always very kind and answers all of my dumb questions that I tend to ask, I highly recommend this dentist!!! I'd like to give it 10 stars if I could!!!

Ted spent a long time explaining how the treatment works and reassured me that I could have what I was looking for in the time frame I required, (our Anniversary end November) My surgery started in July and after the studs were inserted I had to wait the required 4 month healing time. Through this wait time Ted was fully involved checking my implants and how they were progressing while he manufactured my set and had them ready for the agreed timeframe. The teeth came out perfect and only required a few minor adjustments. This process of studded implants is a little costly but I believe it was worth it. The service I received from the dentist and his team was wonderfully compassionate, caring and accommodating given that I did not have an appointment. The dentist was exceedingly helpful and professional in taking the time to explain to me the complications of the extraction. It turned out that I had a severe infection that prevented the anesthetic from doing its job. I left with a prescription for painkillers and antibiotics. Though he advised me seeking the help of a dental surgeon with his office manager forwarding my file to a dental surgeon, I did return after the infection subsided a week later and he was able to extract the tooth with ease and grace without any complications. I am indeed very grateful and appreciative for the time and effort extended to me by him and his staff. I highly recommend the Thames River Family Dentistry for their quality of care.
