While the concepts are easy to understand, executing them proficiently is a whole other story. There are a lot of lightbulb moments in this course. If you can proficiently draw from a holster, I'd recommend this class no matter the background. Comp vs tactical argument is saved for another day because everything mentioned can be applied to both. Also worth mentioning, keep your fly down the entirety of the class and Ken might offer you a discount.

I'm going on a cruise real soon and want to be able to take a scuba excursion, so being certified has become a must. I'm so glad I found Frank. I needed this to happen in a short time and while it's warm in the Caribbean, it's not so much here in North Texas. Frank accommodated my need to be certified quickly with enthusiasm. And he heated his pool up to 86 degrees on a 35-degree day for the occasion. He's not going to cut corners, he teaches in a way so that his students learn. And he's going to do what it takes to get you there even if your request has winter temps associated with it... he will be joining you for the lake dive in frigid waters.
