Never, ever, ever use Peter Woo's office as your notary for a real estate transaction!…read more The service is definitely cheaper than most notaries ($1,350 for both a buy and sell, vs ~%1,500 quoted by most notaries). However, you DO NOT get what you pay for - I would not use their service again even if it were free. I have run into constant problems with them, have had to go back and forth with new bank drafts for different amounts, and pick up cheques for outstanding balances owed to me because they keep making errors. I am still in the process of dealing with the sale of my property, and the mistakes keep piling up. This is my third real estate transaction, and the last two have gone smoothly - not the case with Peter Woo's office. I recommend you stay far, far away!!!
