Stopped in to grab a few things to nosh on after work, Chả Giò and Gỏi Cuốn. The restaurant is pretty spacious and with Vietnamese music playing added to the ambiance. The food was fresh and the young gentleman who helped me was patient and gracious to help me pronounce the items I ordered. Can't wait to come back and order the Pho.

Brothers Bistro offers an impressively large menu with over 100 options featuring both classic and unique Vietnamese dishes. As someone who was raised on authentic, homemade Vietnamese food, I tend to go in with pretty high expectations. The atmosphere: Beautifully decorated interior with a spacious dining area--great for both small and larger groups. The food: I ordered the deep-fried chicken wings (Cánh Gà Chiên), which were perfectly crispy, juicy, and full of flavor. They come with a side of fish sauce, although they were delicious even without it. I also tried the Phở Brothers Đặc Biệt. The broth was rich and tasty, but I wish it came with more meat. I only had a few pieces in my bowl. The service: Friendly and attentive staff all around.

We had a good experience at Brother Bistro. I ordered the Hu Tieu Nam Vang and my husband got the Com Tam. Both were tasty and satisfying. The server was very friendly and attentive, which we really appreciated. Overall, good food and great service. We'd definitely come back to try more dishes.

We ordered nem nuong appetizer and the canh chua with fish (sweet and sour vegetable soup) and the combo wraps (build your own rolls with rice paper and a variety of meat and seafood). Everything tasted great! I ordered extra lemon to squeeze into my soup. The restaurant was clean and looked simple with some nice Vietnamese decor. It was quiet when I went for lunch on a Tuesday. The food was average priced and the portions were huge. We really enjoyed everything we ate! Bathrooms were also clean. Easy parking in the springfield plaza. I suggest going here. They have a variety of traditional Vietnamese food (not just your typical pho and banh mi sandwiches) and I'll be back to try more menu items :)

Found a new Vietnamese spot in Springfield for all my cravings! My friend and I came for lunch and shared the banh hoi combo brothers and the banh xeo with shrimp. Love the presentation of both and they really load you up with vegetables here! No skimping! The banh hoi platter was very good - there was one meat that wasn't our favorite. Not sure what it was. Looked like spam but wasn't. Everything else was delicious. The banh xeo was crispy but skimpy on the shrimp. Definitely loaded up on the mung bean. Wish it had bigger shrimp or at least not thinly sliced. We felt like we were eating a vegetarian banh xeo. Will definitely be back to try more dishes when in the area!

I ordered the dry noodle, and unfortunately it was too sweet for my liking, the sauce mix just didn't work for me. The meat toppings also didn't taste very fresh, which was disappointing. I also didn't like that the condiments weren't readily available on the table and had to be requested each time. I've also tried their pho and bun bo hue. The pho had a solid flavor (not the best but can fix ur cravings), and the bun bo hue is just okay. I've definitely had better elsewhere. Overall, while some dishes are passable, I think the flavor and quality could be improved.

Oh. My. God. I don't know how I'll go to any other Vietnamese restaurant in the future because this one blew my mind. The ambiance is so peaceful, the space is clean, the staff is professional and kind, but the star of the show is the food. The menu is very extensive and at first, it's a little overwhelming, but let me assure you that anything you choose on the menu is going to be a hit. My family and I tried many different dishes and have not been disappointed by a single one! My heart, though, belongs to the Bò lúc lắc. This shaking beef is SO INCREDIBLY TENDER you will never want to eat at a steakhouse ever again. I crave it every day, no joke. All the food is so flavorful, satiating, but not heavy at all since all dishes are served with lots of greens and veggies. The chefs here really know what they're doing and this place has me as a loyal customer

Thrilled to find this superb Vietnamese restaurant in Springfield Plaza (next to Halal Guys). This is now the third excellent eatery in that plaza along with Bob and Ediths and Hot Peppercorn! Walls are nicely decorated with traditional art, and nice that there are lots of windows. I ordered the seafood clay pot and was pleasantly surprised that the rice was crispy like you get with dolsot bibimbap. Nice array of flavors. My wife got the spring rolls that you wrap yourself after dipping the sheet in water - that was a new experience for us! Those were yummy, she got the ones with beef skewers. We also had the fried spring rolls appetizer which were crispy and delicious. Great service, friendly staff. Will be back for sure

Our server, Huy, made the experience even better--he was friendly, professional, and recommended a fantastic noodle dish that we loved. We had a hankering for Vietnamese food and wanted to try a place we had not before. Walking into the place, we liked the decor - had a fairly distinctly modern look, and plenty of seating available. we were greeted and could sit down anywhere. They speak Vietnamese here so feel free to order in that or English if you prefer. Or point to the great pictures in their menu - which is very beautiful. Our food came out pretty quickly and really hot the spot - definitely get the dac biet versions of what you want!

My family's new favorite place to eat in Springfield! This place has delicious Vietnamese Food at a price that's competitive to other local Vietnamese restaurants in the area. Upon walking in, the décor is nothing new if you have ever been to a Vietnamese Restaurant. Very plain colored walls surround the area with Vietnamese music playing the background. It's something to expect but the music is very calming. The menu is extensive and covered to popular dishes like Pho, Bo Luc Lac, Bún bò Huế, Cơm tấm, Banh xeo, and many more. We started off with Chả Giò which is pretty much Spring Rolls with Ground Pork, Crab Meat, Shrimp served with fish sauce and vegetables. It was pretty delicious and it came out fast too! What I got for this visit is Cơm Tấm Đặc Biệt. It's like a special rice dish with a grilled pork chop, shrimp paste fried in a tofu wrap, a fried egg, shredded pork, a shrimp roll on chinese sausage, and of course more vegetables with fish sauce. It is absolutely my favorite and it's just best if you pour all the fish sauce. Adds extra unami to your dish. It was delicious! I can't say much about the service because the server was able to take our order quickly but we knew what we wanted. They did refill our water cups numerous times so I do think it's a plus. Would I recommend this place? Absolutely. It is always delightful to try more Vietnamese food in my hometown! Check this place out if you are in Springfield!

We ordered two phos and two platters, both pho and one platter were excellent, but the second platter (sweet and spicy vegetarian, #77) was served in some sauce that was neither sweet nor salty. It was extremely bland, had no flavor, and tasted like a collection of steamed vegetables. The two white members of my party had to ask for chopsticks, and they got them the second time they asked. Overall, the food (with one exception) was good, the service was fast, and the price was just a little higher than usual. read more

The food was quite delicious. The Thai hot pot had a nice kick to it. Might have been a little spicy for my husband as he coughed when he tasted the soup. It was a good portion split between three people. The Banh Hoi combo was tasty. We had to ask for more rice paper wrap. Service was okay. We had to ask for a water refill. For anyone who likes Saigon beer, they have it here. read more

Really good Southern Vietnamese food. The banh hoi was spot on. Even the oc len wasn't bad and that is really hard to do right in this country. I'd avoid the pho as it was really mediocre and probably on thry menu only for the white folks that know pho as basically the only Vietnamese dish that they've heard of. But really good stuff and definitely coming back. read more

This food was sooo flavorful! I wasn't sure what I was ordering but the good thing about their menu is that they have numbers next to the pictures if you do not know how to pronounce the names of the food, which makes ordering so simple. The quality of the menu was top-tier. They took a lot of time invested in their menu and picture quality. I have no complaints on the customer service. Everything was a 10 out of 10. I will be returning back to try more of the traditional dishes that they have. read more

Me and hubby stopped here for late lunch. I had some pho and hubby had a beef dish. And we shared some appetizer wings. Everything was super delicious. The menu had so many options it was hard for hubby to choose. We will definitely be coming back to try more things. read more

Holy smokes! This may be the best Viet restaurant in the DMV. I will have to sample more of the items on the menu to confirm but the food I've tried so far were absolutely delicious. Bun Bo Hue - 5 stars, reasonably priced with a variety of proteins. The broth was rich, mildly spicy, and full of flavor. Beef shank was very tender. Pork hock, tendon, meatballs, pork sausages were all included at no additional charge. Noodles were well cooked. Soft and not undercooked like some restaurants. Banh Xeo - 5 stars, extra thin and crispy Nem Nuong Cuon - 5 stars, their special dipping sauce was on point. Nem nuong was really tasty. The rolls could be a little larger. Service - 5 stars, server was very attentive Ambiance - 5 stars, simple but modern Cleanliness - 5 stars, they have disposable chopsticks! This place rocks! Wow. This may be one of the best Vietnamese restaurants in Northern Virginia, and that comes with a lot of competition. Who would think a place in a strip mall that could be the name for an Italian pizza joint would acheive that. The snails were really unique, with a great sauce. The lemongrass chicken was also great. Uf. I must have accidentally stumbled on one of the Americanized dishes. The carmelized fish with (barely any) pork belly in a clay pot was sickeningly sweet, small portioned and came with, like, two shards of green onion and zero other vegetables. For $18, even in this economy, this isn't worth it. read more

Delicious! I am so happy I don't have to drive to Eden Center for good Vietnamese food anymore! Brother's Bistro offers an extensive menu of authentic Vietnamese cuisine. I dined with a large party of 11, and all guests enjoyed what they ordered. I highly recommend #66 (Banh Hoi Dac Biet) for a flavored packed dish! Came to try out this new restaurant. Didn't really have a good menu on yelp. So I took pics of the menu for anyone to check it out. First of all about this place is when we came inside they sat us at a dirty table that hasn't been cleaned yet. We ordered the snail for appetizer. It didn't look edible but when you dip it in the sauce and eat it. It was different. Pretty good but not a lot of snail but more of the pork. We ordered the Thai hot pot and the com chime Bo luc lac. The com chime no luc lac, the beef was so tenderized that you couldn't tell if it was beef. It was cut so thin that didn't make it look like a $20 meal. There was more watercress and salad than beef. The Thai hot pot was ok. They used frozen mussel, fish balls, squid and shrimp. The broth was good. But expected for more fresh seafood. Again the beef was cut so thin that it disappear in the broth. The noodle was over cooked. There was some good and bad about this place. Needs some work to make it better. Also need to have more servers to help out on Friday night cuz there was no table left for other customers. read more

The food is very good-- equivalent of not better than restaurants in Eden Center. Their sauces that accompany dishes are very good-- especially the nem cuon. Portions are generous. Would have given 5 stars if it wasn't for the service--it was sub-par. Both times orders were missed and entrees came out late (20-30 minutes after everyone else at the table received their food). Napkins seemed to be at your request along with water refills. It's simple decor. read more

I've visited the previous incarnation of this restaurant for good pho many times, and I was curious to see how the new installment would fare. And it did not disappoint! Easily the best Vietnamese food I've ever had in the DMV. The ambiance has been leveled up from the cafeteria-like atmosphere and could compete with any local bistro. And the food--the food is spectacular. I don't give out 5-star reviews very often but this place absolutely qualifies. Definitely try the spring rolls, the pho is fantastic, and the entrees are incredible, especially compared to other similar establishments. read more
