The staff are excellent and really helpful, even to the extent of personally delivering items to your home if you can't make it into town. Unfortunately though this is another store hit by recent events and is closing down. It's a huge loss to the town. I've used this shop since it opened many years ago.

They have a very large range of newspapers and magazines covering all genres. They do have some very nice cards and all at a very good value for money. They also sell quite a large range of chocolates, sweets and drinks and have the National Lottery. There is no parking in the vicinity of the shop but it is ideally located near to the main bus stops in the town centre and the train station, for a lot of passing trade and is often very busy. The owners are a very pleasant and helpful couple.

Chances are if it's not in this shop then the paper/magazine you're after isn't going to be in Seaton Delaval. Being so close to the school, it gets bombarded with kids stocking up on sweets. The card selection is limited and you won't find bargains but it's handy to have at your door step none the less. Friendly enough staff who sell the odd winning scratch card.
