Today I got brave and went for their mini-facial. OMG what an amazing service. It's probably the best $30 bucks spent (I think it was $30) They start by cleaning your face and adding some sort of moisturizer. Its followed by the best facial massage I've had in a long time. She really gets in there and massages everything from neck to forehead. I mean, I was ready for a nap right after she did that. However there was more to come. She went to the back and brought a cold facial mask. She proceeded to rest it on my face and massage it so that it would be nicely pressed over my skin. She then went on to take care of another client and I was fighting falling asleep haha I was with the mask for a good 10mins or so. She proceeded to remove it and do another nice massage all over my face spreading the moisturizer all over. She was so calm and relaxing. I am so ready for a nap now and my face feels clean, and refreshed. Very affordable and very accessible if you are in a rush and don't really want to wait for spa appointments to be open. This is your spot! Now don't go and say I gate keep haha trust me this is one service you want to try from here. read more

Had trouble finding the place. It is located way in the back even behind the entire plaza, behind the gym. They use a very fine thread which got all my hair and made me cry (no pain no gain) lol. I usually never cry for any threading sessions, but it must have been the thread. Pricing is higher since Irvine, unfortunately. I had to subtract a star because when the lady asked if I wanted Aloe Vera, I specifically said "no thank you, it tends to break me out", she proceeded to slather it on my face regardless....hours later even after washing my face when I returned home shortly after, I broke out on both my eyebrow areas. :( read more

I visited this place for the first time the other day, and I had a wonderful experience! The lady who did my brows was fantastic, and she really made a difference--my eyebrows looked so much better after she worked her magic. The staff at the front desk was also incredibly friendly and warm. I highly recommend this place because of the great prices and friendly service. Woroud did an amazing job on my daughter's brows! She was gentle, patient, and very professional. My daughter felt comfortable throughout the entire appointment, and the results were beautiful. I've been looking for a new threading salon since moving to Irvine and I'm so happy I finally found this place. It was a little tricky to find since it's in the back of the shopping center which I had no idea even existed until now. I was able to walk in with no wait at an off time. The lady who did my eyebrows was so gentle and thorough. My brows looked great and it only took about 5 minutes. Easy in and out! read more

Today was my second time at Brow Mantra. I had a fairly bad experience my first time (2 years ago, they were rushed and snagged my skin) but I had a seamless experience today. I should mention, my brows are microbladed and I've never had any issues with threading ever since. I went in on a Sunday at 1pm. There were no other customers. It's $15 for threading brows, which feels steep - but fair for the Irvine area. Nadia had a mask when I entered, offered me hand sanitizer after signing in/starting my brows. She was friendly, gentle and immaculate. She made sure to do the area right between my brows where those pesky mini hairs are. YAY. I would gladly have Nadia do my brows again. She is currently working Sundays, so I'll be sure to ask for her again when I'm back. read more

So hard to find a good eyebrow spot, and finally found my favorite. Elie did an amazing job on my eyebrow cleanup. The studio was clean, Elie was super professional, only waited a few minutes, and left with my eyebrows looking great. Will definitely be coming back! read more

I have been seeing Nadia for over 5 years now for sugar wax and threading. I usually go to the Cypress location but I have seen her at the Irvine location as well. I won't go to anyone else! No one knows how to clean up my Vag brows and lip like Nadia! The wax she uses is good and it doesn't make my sensitive skin break out at all. She is the very best! Very clean and classy. Stopped by to buy a shawl- really quick , that a friend mentioned. I was so not pleased by their service. A. They don't have enough people to take care of customers that are waiting in the lobby. ( could be for that one moment, totally understand) but , what was totally unacceptable was the lady who was super rude when I asked her the price on something. B. I can't blame the entire tram for this one lady's problem but wow, she was really lacking customer service. You may be talented , who cares? If you can't be nice to your customers. Will never go back again , ever! There's better places, this kind of customer service is unacceptable. One star for the good service other team members provided the last couple times I went in. I love to come here and have my service done by Worood, she is professional , kind and shows personal and friendly attention to me ** for all people who are complaining about people not not wearing a mask ; this is a facial threading place so expect people not to wear a mask at some point , stop giving bad reviews to hard working people please . read more

Went for one hour facial and it WAS one hour. Constant massage, treatment and everything. Wurood did my facial. Amazing experience. Heard about her from my daughters and she exceeded the expectations. My eyebrows, now they look similar in shape. Wurood is the best. read more

It was ok. Had to stop in between the threading for the upper lip. Very very painful experience. Eye threading was ok. Did the shaping as expected. But it was painful and they pulled on my skin. Will give it another shot with a different person read more

I checked out and was charged 22 knowingly. And then was insistently asked for a tip. I called and they confirmed it's only 18 for brows and lips, 12 for eyebrows. Not returning and don't recommend. read more

I've been here only once before and I didn't think my experience was that bad. Was a little bit disappointed today. I felt like my girl rushed it a little bit and didn't really care too much for the placement of my hands when I was holding my brows and proceeded to thread my brows despite my brows not being relaxed at all. The end result was okay. I thought one of my brows ended up a little uneven, but I guess that's what makeup and tweezers are for. I also realized that there was a $2 discount if you checked-in on Yelp, but this was after she charged my card. I asked if it were still possible to use it, but she just told me to use it next time and that I should tell her before she charges it next time, which is fair. I'm not sure why she couldn't have just given me $2 back in cash, but it's fine. I didn't feel like it was worth making a big deal about and let it go. Also I always feel uncomfortable with places that specifically ask you out loud how much you want to tip them in front of the whole store. At $11 for an eyebrow threading + tip, I don't feel like the experience was worth the price. read more

Great customer service, amazing woman, very kind but the skill is not there. :-( left with one eye brow super skinny compared to my other eye brow, and then she blamed it on my brows. Not the case, I purposely grew them out, I only wanted a clean up, not a shaping, thinning or removing hair from my actual brow, just wanted her to get the stragglers. So sad. This isn't something I can hide. She had the audacity to still charge me, because I'm a classy woman I still tipped $4 although idk who in their right mind would pay for this. Very disappointed. I'm never getting brows threaded again, so scarred by this. :-( read more

It was my first time here and Zena did such a wonderful job! It's a very welcoming spot and I felt so comfortable walking in. She cleaned up my brows and even gave them a natural tint, she also put on some aloe vera which helped cool down my brows. Definitely recommend going to her, she did mention she's currently working weekends so that would be the best time to go. I'll certainly be coming back here after this wonderful first time experience! read more

I have been coming here for at least 5 years, I have had threading to my eyebrows for at least 20 years. I am not that picky! Today was literally the worst. I had a really terrible experience and it was the same person who did my eyebrows really well a few weeks ago! My advice is to really make sure you tell them what you want - I.e. don't cut me and don't make my eyebrows too thin. You can always take more off but it takes a long time to grow back certain hair! They will tell you to use castor oil but there is no evidence to support that it makes hair growth... hair eventually will grow back but it might take months! I really hate how she kept trying to tell me she just did a "clean up" I am not a newbie at this. read more

I took a star off just because this place is a little pricey for getting eyebrows done! It's $11 compared to the usual 6-8 $. Other than the price, i've had my brows done from almost every worker here and i always love the clean and great job they do. If you have a student ID or check-in they give a discount! So definitely do that. read more

So, I've been to plenty of threading salon's - high priced, low priced, and I've noticed that you DON'T get what you pay for. The lowest I've gotten my eyebrows done has been $6.00 - and you get the whole nine yards (massage with aloe, cleaning of face, and basic trim for the crazy hairs). Here, I paid $11.00, plus a 2$ tip just because I know this job is difficult and touching faces all day would gross me out. All I got was a messed up left eyebrow, where she took a little too much than my right eyebrow. I know, I know, eyebrows are sisters, not twins, but still! A big complaint was that she didn't even bother to clean my face up a bit out of courtesy. She handed me the mirror, I gave the ok, and that was it - meanwhile, I'm looking at myself in the little mirror with a carpet of eyebrow hairs spread across my forehead (it had been a while, ok?!). A little more customer service goes a long way... Thanks, but I'll save myself a few bucks going elsewhere. read more

I've generally had good experiences here. My eyebrows are really thick and wild and I really have no idea how to handle them myself. They always do a great job though sometimes I feel they can be a bit rough as they are trying to do their jobs quickly. I've walked out a few times with red bruise marks but they generally go away in a day or two. So overall no a big deal but still worth mentioning read more

Horrible experience. Do not go here if you care for your eyebrows and your money!!! I have been threading my eye brows for ever and I have a very good idea about what area of my eyes are problematic. But they really screwed it up. I did think she was using the scissors a bit too much but hey they are the expert. I have had bad experience in the past too, but nothing has made feel/look as bad as this one. They literally chopped off the top of my eyebrows and cleaned up all hair from under. Now there is no saving it. Unfortunately I came right before the holidays too. So now I have one eye brow that is crooked and very thin and other looks okay. And when I complained both of them tried to cover up their mess even after this obvious screw up. Don't tell me I have a bald spot on my eyebrows. I think I would know the shape of my brows. Worst experience ever as far as eyebrow threading goes. And I have been getting my eyebrows threaded for more than 20 years and never have I felt this bad. And then they made my pay in full and tried to get me to pay more by signing up for tinting. What are they going to tint? There is no hair to tint and I have a very irritated skin after the threading. They are trying to convince me I need to put dye on my irritated follicles and to absolutely no use since there is no hair to tint there. How stupid do they think their customers are? It's a whole sham. Bad work, bad service. Its not like they are cheap either. At $15 they are pretty pricey. read more

It was my first time coming to this place and it's close to where I work. I've always done threading with my eyebrows and upper lip since I can remember. Typically, it takes about 5-8 max for most threading artists to finish. The particular person who helped me took less than 5 minutes. She assumed that I just wanted clean up. I mentioned that I had some make up on and that I wanted to do a little reshaping. I'm not sure what the protocol is when someone has make up on. I would assume that you would want to wipe it off I order to see the true shape of the brows. She never did that. After she was done, she handed me placed a mirror in front of me and as soon as I opened my eyes and saw what it looked like, she put the mirror back. I didn't get a good look at my brows. She then went back to previous person she was assisting. When I look at the shape, I didn't see a difference in shape since I still had my brow filled in. It took her another 5 minutes to assist me in paying. Overall, she seemed like she was in a rush. I knew she was helping another person at the same time. I didn't appreciate how she decided to help me in between helping another person. It made it difficult to tell her that I wasn't happy with how it turned out When I looked closely at my brows, the clean up wasn't even that good. The bottom line, isn't clean, and there are still some hairs under the points. I won't be coming back, I'd rather drive further to my regular place since they take their time and truly show interest in you. read more

I was going to give this place 5/5 stars because of the last lady who did my eyebrows. She was sweet and amazing. However, today's experience was the worst customer service experience I've ever had. I almost left crying. They have a check-in deal so I activated the offer and took it to her for her to see and click "mark offer as used." She doesn't speak or understand English too well, so she kept stating that "mark offer as used" meant the offer has been marked as used at a previous visit. She wouldn't accept the check in and proceeded to call the owner and yell at me saying to never come back. It was the most embarrassing and frustrating experience I've ever had a customer. read more

This business does not care about its customers or service quality -- they only care about getting your money.

The masseuse, her name is Gel, was very kind and friendly and she suggested the Lymphatic massage because it incorporates the whole body and not just one selected area. She had really strong hands. She worked on my back and really loosened up my body from being really stiff. She incorporated some healing oils and hot rocks and spent a great deal of time working out all the kinks and stiffness I had in my body. She also incorporated some stretching to get the body loosened up. When she was done with me I was so relaxed I didn't think I could drive home. The rooms are really nice and decorative and they have soft music playing in the background. I definitely plan on going back for some more work. I highly recommend this place. I was also able to book my appointment online.
