Prices - well, ok for Warsaw, slightly higher than in Berlin.. BUT 1) self service and a long queue, which means - the prices actually too high, as they save on staff 2) if you don't order 100 % precisely what you wish they will try to sell you the largest and the most expensive version of the product. If you don't agree to buy what you don't actually want, the "suddenly helpless" girl at the counter will say " Oooh, but I don"t know how to cancel this order, I think it is impossible ..oooh ", which is of course a lie. Typical Polish sales strategy. But as a well mannered person you don't want to stop the queue behind you to discuss it with the helpless girl, so you pay for sth that has been sold to you in a tricky way, go to your table and try to enjoy your meal anyway - in vain... 3) ...as the buffet is on the counter behind the queue. That means you can't fetch the food just so, you have to cross the queue saying 10 times"Excuse me", "Oh sorry","Can I get through" - and then again, while going back. Great logistic idea. wrrr. The other pain in the neck in the fact that the food appears on the counter only in very small portions, which means, your meal is actually a kind of a hunt - you have to wait for the new portion of .. let"s say fruit.. then you have to spot it, run and hope that it still will be there when you finally have managed to get yourself through all the queuing people (again "Oh, excuse me, oh pardon, oh sorry) Sorry to say, but Warsaw generally, trying so hard to be trendy in the western way, fails to offer the basic gastronomic services. After such an experience I could really enjoy a coffee and a piece of cake in a McCafe :)

The appetizers were good, but clear they had been sitting on the table for awhile. However, their duck breast and the risotto were both excellent. Their wine list pairs well with any dish. Service was attentive and they offer free Wi-Fi.

Wieczorami bywa niedostępna, jak również inne przysmaki dnia czasami wychodza na godzine przed zamknieciem kuchni... Wybór piw jest mało imponujący, ale zaspokoi gusta wymagających podniebień. Wina są również bardzo dobre, promowane kierunki są jednak mniej znane: europa południowo wschodnia w szerokim kontekście :) Czy już mówiłem że jedzenie jest niesamowite za niewygórowaną cene? Jeśli nie to napisze jeszcze raz. Knajpa mimo nazwy jest bez nadęcia. Właściciel, management i obsługa jest profesjonalna i miła. Wręcz przyjacielska. Nie trudno o tur po knajpie i jej wyszukanych zakamarkach i barwnej choć nie długiej historii. Kamienica w której znajduje się Centrum Zarządzania Światem jest historyczna i będzie znowu artystuczna - jak tylko zostanie zakończona kompleksowa renowacja cześć mieszkalnej. Ten nastrój podtrzymuje lokal wypełniony po brezegi programem artystycznym, rozrywkowym i niemal społecznym. Feels like you are in a house with multiple rooms and intimate places to seat. During summer they have a outdoor patio, perfect to enjoy a brunch outside. The menu is traditional polish, stronger on breakfast/brunch than dinner. Breakfast menu is mostly egg dishes: every omelet combination, scrambled or poach. They do have a couple of vegan specials like non-egg tofu-veggies omelette. I love they think about their vegan customers too! Boozy brunch is offered as well! Daily lunch specials of soup + main dish are available starting at 11 AM. For dinner the options were somehow limited. Not many vegetarian dishes, and no daily specials. Tomato soup of course, a couple of salads and meat dishes. Dinner is not their signature. Drinks menu is very good! From wine and beer, to "long, short and shots" cocktails. There's something for everyone. Ambiance is casual and not too loud. Overall, highly recommended for breakfast, brunch or buzzy afternoon with some friends. Cheers!

Super place to eat different food and in an awesome neighbourhood!…read more Prosta historia has a nice sunny terrace where you can have a fresh lunch for only 25zl, located in Francuska street, the main street of the beautiful, calm and residential neighbour of Warsaw. I had a cold leek cream based on yogurt and a tasty and yummy fish hamburger. Definitely I recommend and of course I will be back :)
