The new church building was constructed in 1928. Fremont Ohio is a true delight for someone like myself that loves history, architecture and beauty!!! I was in total heaven. The Old Stone Church is an Ohio Historical Marker for the German Reformed Church. It was built in…read more1866 and can be visited when the History Museum is open (next door) and not in use (being rented). You can also rent it for $200. It does have a/c, heating, and lights but there is no running water or bathrooms. Bathrooms are available to use next door at the museum. It is not handicap accessible. If you are interested in historical and vintage churches, it's a nice stop in Kelleys Island. There is an old potbelly stove and original wooden pews in the church as well.
