They even offer a delivery service, although you need to buy more than 50 reais in Ipanema and 70 reais in Leblon to qualify for delivery. The box containing 67 peanut butter sweets (paçoca) is by far my favourite. I always need to have a one of those at home. They also sell the diet chocolate bar to make diet sweets, which costs a fortune elsewhere, even though it is not particularly cheap, it's definitely the cheapest in town.

It must have taken 15-20 mins to get the orders taken and then you have to queue for getting the ice cream after! The single person in front of us, an obvious Brazilian was even getting impatient. I ordered a medium ice cream (2 flavors) on a cone and a chocolate bar. They have quite a collection of candies and chocolate bars on display and while waiting in a line that doesn't move, it's easy to pick up a few more things to make it worth it. The prices are higher than other gelato shops but the quality is good. We tried the cappuccino and nougatine which was a delicious combination and the cone was scrumptious. The ladies behind the counter looked like novices, they couldn't break change, they had trouble scooping the ice cream and they took forever to figure things out. It's good ice cream but not worth the hassle. I'd try another branch next time, since they have them all over.

I find them to be more on the pricier end, and not being able to get two flavors for this price (I feel it helps when I can cut the rich chocolate flavor with a lighter fruit flavor) I usually tend to pick other locations over this one. BUT, I still recommend people to try them, cause many do enjoy them. Italian brand with many locations worldwide and one large store in Ipanema worth a visit.

Since Brazil doesn't really have the same 'coffee shop' culture as the US, I had trouble working from home the first year that I lived here. FINALLY, I found Grão & Cia where they have free wifi, great coffee, nice people and a quiet upstairs to work where you are undistracted. Sometimes I literally work here for 6-8 hours so luckily they have snacks like nuts, cheeses and gluten free breads and granola bars. It is full of artisan snacks and craft beers and great wines. I bought this farofa that is so good! It comes in a fancy glass jar and has rosemary, Brazil nuts, basil and some other spices. I coated a piece of dourado (I think that is Mahi Mahi) with it and baked it and it turned out so yummy! The manager is really helpful. He is always getting new snacks in and has picked up on the types of things I like so every time I go in, he suggests new products. He also speaks English. Though, now I am fluent enough and we speak in Portuguese. The ONLY downfall of this place is that they literally play the same CD of 12 tracks over and over and over and over. In the year that I have gone there, it has NEVER changed. Thus, I bring headphones and play my own music.
