Over the three years that I continuously go back I can always expect to see something new every month. Every Month it changes to a new theme and it is free to walk in and view the items on display. There is a small gift shop in side for those would would like to buy gifts. You can also purchase the artwork that is on display with tags on them. I always receive good customer service while here. The staff is very friendly. On Saturdays Arts Clayton always features someone and their craft. Sometimes they will have programs catered to children and the parents can sign them up. Some programs are paid for when it come to weekend activities so follow their social media to keep up with all things Arts Clayton. On the side of the building there is even more beautiful art displayed. If you go during holiday season the street is usually decorated based on the holiday. Parking is in the rear of the building. There are some parking spots in the front and Handicapped parking.

The garden has country specific themes with lovely water features and cute statuary. There is a full size playhouse for kids equipped with toys and a mini-kitchen for aspiring young chefs. There is also a huge outdoor covered play area for the kids equipped with sandbox and all sorts of rides. Really a nice place to take a quiet walk through to go to run the kids out of steam!! I was very pleased that they offer free shipping if you spend more than $150. The sources I have bought Japanese maples from before (MrMaple, Conifer Kingdom, and Mendocino Maples either were sold out or didn't carry these) In the future I would consider Maple Ridge equal or better than any other nursery I have bought Japanese maples from, so I would not hesitate to buy from them again.

Christmas season 2020 we visited, like always, your typical tree display at home depot, lowes or…read morepikes nurseries. All of the nice trees were picked over weeks before December, so when we were driving around and saw a line going into Maple Ridge Nursery, we turned around and got in line ourselves. Trees varied in price for around $50 to over $100, but unlike the locations I listed above, a $100 tree LOOKED like a $100 tree. That is to say very tall, very full, very green. We got a fir for $85 and it was I believe 7 feet tall. Customer service was great, both with helping us find a tree and securing it to the car. You even upon your purchase got a free ornament, a small but kind gesture. We were told these trees are harvested from their own nursery and man, the smell of this tree just made the entire house smell festive and lived into January. Located off of Covington highway just before you reach the Panola Road Cross street, there is parking for cars in the front of the store...it's more a staging area so you can drive in, get your tree loaded and leave. This family owned shop is here each year in the same location, and while i've driven past this place in the past, often to head to big chain stores, I think i've found a tradition and next year i'll definitely be paying Maple ridge Nursery another visit. I hope you get to check them out next year also!
