My eyebrows only needed a touch up after having them done over a year ago but somehow Erin made them look like two caterpillars fighting on the middle of my face. She did not use the stroke technique to make the lines appear natural. Instead Erin was complaining about her husband possibly having hemorrhoids while filling in the brow section like blocks. First thing was I did not feel comfortable with the conversation she was having with me. That was a very private matter that her and her husband should have addressed at home. Second thing was an owner of a brow bar did not know how to micro-blade or Erin was distracted with this personal matter. Now I have to get a real professional to fix this nightmare by offsetting the blocks of ink with light color stroke pattern to try to get them to look like little hairs again. I would strongly recommend not going to Erin for micro blading. If the owner doesn't have the professional discipline to not let personal matters spill over into her business, I would hate to see what other mistakes are being made at this brow bar.

I have been to several salons in the Rehoboth, Lewes, Millsboro & Milton area since I moved here 15 years ago. Artistic Designs is proficient in technology with scheduling appointments & follow-up with instant confirmations & reminders. I needed a stylist for my wedding & my wedding party. I was unsuccessful with 3 other salons. Moe the owner) "somehow fitted me in" for our wedding trials, and actually delayed her vacation to give us timely appointments. She was amazing. I brought her a photo of what I would like my hair to look like and she did MORE. Whenever I show anyone my wedding photos the very 1st thing they ask is: "Where & who did your hair & makeup? Also, Christine did my wedding makeup application -- it was flawless. She too is patient, talented & very knowledgeable. The best part about Artistic Designs Salon is that I don't need to get "dressed up," & have makeup on to be treated special. Other neighborhood salon's staff look down upon you if you're not "perfectly dressed" in stylish cloths wearing makeup--when you arrive; they treat you disrespectfully. You have to "look great" to be "treated great."' Many, many neighborhood salons are snobby and only treat you well if you come in looking spectacular. At Artistic Designs I come in "just the way I am" (not in my NYC best,) but I leave there feeling beautiful! I have recommended Artistic Designs to my staff, my friends & neighbors. They too have been very satisfied with their results. Artistic Designs a small salon, with a small staff but treats every client respectfully & does spectacular work. It was painful throughout, but the worst part was when he made a mistake on one of my nails and, instead of properly fixing it, he cut a wedge out of my natural nail. This left a visible chunk missing and caused a painful wound. I left with several bleeding fingers, damage to my nail, and a lot of discomfort. I'm STILL in pain and it's been a few days since my appointment. I understand mistakes happen, but the roughness, lack of care, and poor handling of the situation were unacceptable. I will not be returning and would not recommend this salon based on my experience. No customer should leave a manicure appointment bleeding and in pain.

We paid 475 dollars and still had to come back for another bleach treatment and then the three colors. My husband and I were too tired to question the cost after 6 hours and were told to come back to get the other bleach treatment and then add the colors. The only saving grace was it was the best haircut she ever got. I would recommend getting in writing the cost and what was supposed to be done and only pay when the entire job is done.
