I LOVE this dentist office!!! I used t9 HATE the dentist because I've had a couple bad experiences!! Since I started going to Dr. Jordan's office, now i love going to the dentist! I told them about my experiences with tue dentist and how im very traumatized. They took my concerns very seriously and handled me with care and tenderness! They are also honest, in the fact that they won't tell you to do things you don't need done! Love that about them too! The staff are all amazing. My regulars that I talk to regularly are Yvonne (she's one of the coolest receptionist) And Cheri, (amazing hygienist) she cleans my teeth all the time! Amazing first experience. They really took the time to make sure I was comfortable, and they did an excellent job cleaning my teeth. The dentist was very honest and even told me I only needed to come in twice a year, which I found really telling. I've been to a few dentists in the past who pushed more frequent visits unnecessarily, so this was refreshing. If you live in the area, I highly recommend giving them a try. Reception/appointment gal was super dismissive and had an attitude with me and I have no idea why. I requested an appt online and got a response essentially like Umm ok what do you want? Then she told me how hard it is when people make requests online like I was the biggest thorn in her side for doing it. If it's so hard, maybe don't make it an option. She said she doesn't know if they take my insurance because there are so many for delta. Every other dentists office I've been to in the last 10 years has been able to look it up for me on a computer system so I asked if that was possible. The way she responded sounded like an absolute eye roll... like I'm an idiot for asking - "if you give me your info I can call Delta FOR you" *insert eye roll*. I didn't need to hear all the reasons her job is hard or receive attitude. Just tell me if I can get my teeth cleaned or not. If making an appointment is such a chore for them I'd hate to have an actual issue with this staff involved. read more

I've been coming here for I believe 7 years. As long as I've been working at Costco. They are very kind people and they always give you a bag of floss, a toothbrush, and toothpaste. This is my first time back since covid. They have the doors open, they don't have you sign in anymore, you are required to wear masks while you wait until you are being seen, and they check temperatures. read more

I have been going to Dr. Bruce Jordan's office for 22 years, and now it is run by his son, Dr. Mark, and his wife. I am retired from the county, and they are changing their dental carriers, and now I have to find a new dentist covered by my new plan. I can say all the Dr.'s Jordan are the best. Jordan Dental is the best dentist's office I've ever been to. I've been going here ever since I had teeth. Dr. Jordan is a very kind & thorough doctor; his legacy is being carried on by his son, who now works on my teeth. I've been to other dental offices in Fallbrook, Temecula, Chicago & Austin, and they don't compare. Dr. Jordans and his staff demonstrate care that you don't find much anymore. They look at you as a patient, not as a dollar sign, never overselling or pressuring unnecessary procedures. Their hygienists are the best & very thorough; the office will always ensure that you have a hygienist and a proper cleaning at your scheduled appointment! This office takes most dental insurance. I currently use my own; however, back in 2008, when my family fell on Hard Times, Dr. Jordan & their Staff always had our best interests in mind. They helped us in our unique situation, and if you need care, always ask to see what they can do **depending on the circumstance**. Don't usually post reviews; however, we are somewhat new to the area and were looking forward in finding a great dentist. This office was recommend to us by a close friend; who we totally trust. The unfortunate part is that the staff is dismissive and behave inconvenienced by any question; we opted to go with our kids orthodontist recommendation instead. (DeAngelis Family Dentistry). For some people, going to dentist can be a daunting task, but I'm happy to say that I had an amazing first experience here and am looking forward to being back! The entire staff was very professional and I felt so welcomed. I went in to get a chipped tooth fixed and a filling. I see Dr. Mark Jordan and I come from almost an hour away because I trust him! Unfortunately, I have had quite a lot of dentistry work over my life... cavities in every tooth! I appreciate that Dr. Jordan never makes me get a cavity filled unless absolutely necessary. He is fair and honest and doesn't try to gauge you for your money. He is kind, soft spoke and knows his stuff. I would recommend him to anyone. The staff here is good too. Teeth cleanings are hard to come by but they do a good job. Office is clean and there are TVs to look at while in the chair. Conveniently located off the freeway near Costco, outlet malls, and flower fields! If you have to go to the dentist, WHICH SUCKS, might as well go to a place that makes it suck less. read more

I had a tooth problem over Labor Day Weekend, and I called their emergency number, and got a return call within 1 minute, and in 1 hour I had meds to reduce the pain. I found them through my insurance website. Just picked something close to me or my office and hoped for the best. I went in ready to critique the heck out of this place because I have been to A LOT of dentists. I don't have the best teeth (thanks to lovely genetics) and move around a lot. I'm been to more than 10 dentists and know the best and worst in terms of bedside manner, skill, and attempting to overcharge me/add on services I don't want to pay for. From my first visit: The receptionist was friendly and had me checked in not quick, but an average wait time of 15 min. Upon check out, she informed me that my insurance had not responded, so rather than have the chance of me overpaying upfront, we would take care of it when the insurance got back to her. (Other dental offices have made me over pay in advance and rather than refunding my money, they credit your future visit trying to trick The hygienist was friendly, and apologized for any wait (although it ended up being about another 15 minutes) but made use of the time getting some history (since I was a new patient) and taking X-rays. When the dentist came in, she made sure to help explain anything in case I hadn't experienced the same drill or procedures before. She also gave helpful tips on flossing. The dentist (Mark Jordan, the son) was incredibly friendly. He knew what he was doing, didn't make my gums bleed (like other dentists have), was not rough and although he seems young, was completely competent and knew what he was doing. He also explained what he would do before he did it, and warned me if there might be impending discomfort. He also checked throughout the cleaning if I was still comfortable. My teeth were cleaned well and stayed clean (unlike other dentists who do half the job). Out of the many dentists I've been to, he's definitely in the top 3 dentists so far. read more

worst experience ever! This place is set up to rip off poor customers like me. They use my lack of knowledge of insurance tariffs and ripped me off. I went there for simple white filling and they quote me $25 for each filling for 5 teeth, and I payed the total amount on the appointment day, but I got $450 bill couple weeks later! They never mentioned of that bill before. I called my insurance and found out that they never called them for quote and just gave me low amount to get my work. So sick! This does not going to work for so long. people will find out soon or later. have some responsibility. I am so sorry for your poor customers. read more

Dr. Jordan has taken care of me and my family for the last few years, since we've moved to North County. His work has far surpassed my expectations - he has literally changed my life. Not only does Dr. Jordan do good dental work, but he also cares about his patients. It's not just a matter of doing the work, but looking at what it is that needs to be done to take care of the patient entirely. He is willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done and the staff has been really good about my tardiness and fitting me into their schedule. Now here's a rarity... A Brit with good teeth! It was not always thus. Were it not for Dr. Bruce Jordan's personal care, combined with that of his brilliant staff I would be missing more than one tooth and be destined for a life of close-mouthed smiles. In the 14 years during which I have been a patient of Dr. Jordan's practice my 'dentist-phobia' has completely disappeared. My teeth work as intended and look better than I have any right to expect given their abuse by (I'm sure) well-meaning, but less competent and caring dentists, in the UK, Switzerland, Spain, France, Washington DC, Chicago, Boulder, and San Diego. As an employer who provided healthcare to all staff, my head of HR always offered details on the Jordan's practice to new employees. As such I now have over 30 colleagues, friends, family, and partners whose dental needs are dealt with brilliantly, expertly, economically, and with consideration by Bruce M Jordan, DDS and his team. As I mentioned at the start, I'm a Brit. It is well known that we're not given to effusive compliments. I am no exception. This post is a rarity. But then so is Bruce Jordan. read more

Came in to have permanent crown inserted. Peggy again is rough with floss and shines light in my eyes. Waited 1 hour and 20 minutes to see dentist. Already paid my 1k for previous work and no charge for replacing temp with permanent so guess the don't care if they get me in quickly. Jordan wanted to grind down in the previously excavated tooth to have the crown fit better, WITHOUT numbing me. Hell no!! Even the air he uses to dry out the area hurts like hell. Even though I had already spent two hours at the office they wanted to fill some more cavities. Hmmmm...no. On the way out I was "escorted" to the check out desk because the chart didn't show I had paid last time. Clerk argued with me about that then checked somewhere else and discovered I had paid. Very rude and snippy. Thanks and congratulations Jordan Dental, you have just lost my family's business permanently. read more

They don't make their crowns in house (takes 10 days to get them). Unfortunately, their temporary crowns fall off if you eat bread, etc. Very inconvenient. In this day and age a dentist should be able to make a crown in office. Dr Jordan is a good dentist, however it seems he works less and less and you risk getting stuck with his son, or the son's wife. Bruce is the only one you want, but you can tell he has one foot out the door to retirement. I hope his son and daughter in law are greatful their dad built this great business for them to fall into. The dentists (son and father) are really nice. The hygienists are sweet. But the girls at the front desk are less than friendly... If you can get past that then it is great :) Oh yeah, and you HAVE TO book your appointment 6 months in advance (or you will get on a waiting list and it could be 3 months before you can get in for a cleaning - like what happened to my husband)... read more

Was seen at this office a total of three times before being relocated out of the area. Found office through insurance network, was able to get initial visit nearly immediately. The first visit was very fancy. Dr. Bruce Jordan himself performed my cleaning using a fancy device that saved my teeth and gums from a surly hygienist with those scraping tools. My next visit was in a normal, less fancy room with a pleasant hygienist who was very good at her job, not pokey and more importantly prompt on bringing me back. She also did an excellent job cleaning my teeth. I LOVE TO HAVE MY TEETH CLEANED! The third time I was scheduled, the hygienist was nearly 20 minutes late taking me back. Working in patient care myself, I understand when people just run behind. I get it. Had she acknowledged her tardiness, I wouldn't have been upset. However, I was in the first group of appointments right after lunch and heard my hygienist talking about cake and it was obvious she just wanted more time for lunch. She also never acknowledged her tardiness nor offered an apology. On this third visit, I had just found out I was pregnant. I let the hygienist know that I was and that I didn't want any X-Rays (she sounded super disappointed), and that my gums had recently become very sensitive and had even been bleeding despite my diligent flossing (not lying here, I'm very diligent with flossing nightly). She went after my teeth like gang busters. When I began crying (hormones, am I right?... embarrassing) because she was HURTING ME and I let her know she was, she just gave up. The dentist, Dr. Jordan came in, and was a bit nicer, but not sympathetic. He simply recited the science of the hormones at play (already aware, thanks though) and proceeded to discipline me about flossing, despite my clean bill of health in all previous visits. After his 3 minute check in, I let the hygienist know it was time for me to leave as she had already made me late (I had to get back to MY clinic, as I had patients waiting on me, and I AM NEVER LATE). I let the front desk know I wouldn't be returning. Overall the care is OK. The front desk staff is not very excited to be there and can be a bit off putting. The office itself is clean and well kept. It might be time to replace the front office carpet though. read more

The only dentist I want to see! Dr Jordan is amazing and always has been! I have never had a bad experience with his office. Recently I was experiencing issues with my wisdom teeth and I was able to contact him over the weekend, in record time he called in my antibiotics for me! So I've been seeing the dentists at Dr. Jordan's practice for about 13 years. Originally Dr. Bruce Jordan used to take care of me, then his son Dr. Mark Jordan, and most recently Dr. Flavia Jordan. All three of these dentists are awesome, you are in great hands with any one of them. My last regular scheduled cleaning, about two weeks ago, ended up with needing a crown for a chipped and cracked tooth. The terrific care from Dr. Flavia and the entire staff was wonderful. Today, however, Dr. Jordan Sr. made a derrogatory comment to me about my accent. I found this comment to be very offensive. I don't think this is behavior a professional should have towards patients. This isn't the dentist we see regularly, but my husband was experiencing some post root canal issues and his dentist office was closed thanksgiving week. I first came to Dr. Jordan years ago for a second opinion--another dentist wanted to replace ALL my many fillings with crowns. I was impressed with his calm demeanor, emphasis on prevention, and reasonable prices. Twenty-six years later, I still have a few of those fillings, and when I've needed crowns or other dental work, he's given me plenty of warning that it would need to happen within a certain time frame--no "surprises". His son Mark now works there as well and is also calm and skilled. Great staff and up-to-date equipment--why go anywhere else?! read more
