The woman at the front desk was rude, arrogant, and didn't take us seriously. Their lab got my glasses order wrong twice, and Bruhn was extremely rude when we asked about a possible compensation for our wasted time and effort in driving down to see them (I live in Bemidji, so it was an hour drive just to be told the lab messed up the order and the glasses weren't correct). They didn't even bother telling us that the lab messed up the first time, so we were stuck wondering why the glasses were not here on time. Extremely unprofessional and rude. I am h-EYE-ly disappointed in Bruhn Optical. read more

I was new to the area and needed an eye exam/new glasses/contacts. Of course insurance dictates where you can go and of the 2 choices I had, I chose Bruhn Optical. I made the appointment with someone who obviously was having a bad day (very crabby). When I show up for the appointment, I was told my appointment was the next day. Very rudely was told if the person doesn't make it on time this morning I could be seen. Well they never showed (of course nobody showed because it was my appointment time) But of course it wasn't their mistake. The optometrist was less than professional, I tried to ask questions, but was ignored. Still unsure of my prescription. Went for my follow up for my contact fitting and was rushed in and was told to hurry. So many mistakes were made in such a short time, too many to list. I even complained to the owner and was not taken seriously. From the time I made the appointment to getting the glasses/contacts it was a TERRIBLE experience. Very unprofessional and unfriendly staff . Don't' waste your time. Will not be returning next year and spreading the word. read more

I went back to have the one pair of glasses adjusted ... no adjustment to be made so the are redoing the lens for the right eye. The only unfortunate thing is we had to leave Park Rapids and they will have to send the new ones to me..... in the meantime I got a very stylish pair of Rx sunglasses and they are perfect!! Love this place and the gals that assisted me! I hope the pair that has to be sent work out!. If not I'll be back next Spring!

I found Dr. Harmon today and booked an appointment for one hour later. The clinic was clean, professional, and efficient got me right in. I was early for my appointment and they took me straight in. Had my vitals taken, then zero wait to see Dr. Harmon, she came right in. She was familiar with my medical history and asked pertinent questions then got right to work. She took the drain out so smoothly I couldn't even feel it. She gave me brief and concise instructions for care and I was out before my actual scheduled appointment time. On top of all this excellence, she is friendly and personable, with a wonderful bedside manner. I am grateful to Dr. Harmon and highly recommend her to anyone in the Walker area.
