Good was very good, served quickly, at a great price. The dishes were appealing. Service was fast and competent. The only thing I will say that could be improved here is that it is not the most comfortable of places-the air conditioning was blasting such that it felt like a meat locker and the tables and chairs are set up in such a way that it just feels a little uncomfortable. Decided to stop in for an impromptu bday brunch. We were greeted immediately and sat quickly. There is plenty of parking and seating here. I noticed their regular customers in house daily. I've ordered lunch here to go and it was really good, so I wanted to give breakfast a try. We ordered the French toast w/a side of sausage patties, build your own omelette w/home fries and rye toast. Seasoned home fries are usually my gauge for a repeat visit, and they were seasoned and cooked to perfection! The omelette was nice and cheesy, delicious. I've been wanting to come here for awhile and I'm upset I waited so long! We've been on the hunt for a great eggs Benedict and this is it! My friend and I came here for a late brunch this morning. It was pretty busy around 12:45pm, but we were seated right away. One thing to note is they don't have too many drink options, just the basics. I ordered an iced hazelnut french vanilla coffee, which was pretty good. Our waitress was very nice and patient as we took our time to decide what we wanted to eat. We ordered the Strawberry Nutella Waffle and side of scrambled eggs and turkey bacon and the Turkey Club sandwich. The food was tasty and we had an overall nice experience. Stumbled upon this location while searching online. My work staff goes out for meetings once a month and thought the Brunch House was the perfect place. Breakfast all day and lunch! Met the owner and she mentioned her husband and herself have been open for about a year now! It's very bright, clean and it's nice to see folks come in for lunch! Great atmosphere for a brunch/lunch either with one other person or a group. It is a place that can accommodate a number of people together... better than most restaurant venues. The staff is pleasant, attentive and very helpful. In decent weather, the outside seating is a definite plus but even the inside seating is very nice, given the large number of windows. Trendy breakfast spot with basic food. Has potential to be stellar, not there yet. Came to the brunch house on a whim, in the area and wanted to try a new breakfast place. Initial impressions, it definitely looks like a trendy millennial dining location. Faux grass and fake neon signs, wood bench seating, raw wood accent wall, minimalistic designs and very clean. The server was friendly and helped us navigate the menu. The food options were kind of sparse, they pretty much did your standard breakfast fare. benedicts, french toast, pancakes. the most exotic thing I could see was a banana and nutella crepe. I decided to go to my old-standby, a short stack of french toast. They did offer fruit, but their fruit options were all fresh and not warmed up. No option for real maple syrup either, but they did provide some regular syrup for them. Girlfriend opted for their corned beef hash and poached eggs with hollandaise and some sausage. The one thing I did note is that they do like going extravagant with some of their dishes. I saw many dishes coming out drenched in nutella and fruit, so there was signs of them putting effort into their dishes. Their eggs benedicts came out perfectly poached and the bacon was thin but cooked to very crispy. Our food didn't come out as good. The french toast was good, but they didn't soak the bread long enough. no real cinnamon flavor, and the butter was unsalted so it didn't really add anything. The corned beef hash was hormel, not even cooked to crispy brown but warm. The girlfriend's eggs were poached beautifully, and they made a very good hollandaise sauce that wasn't super lemony like some hollandaise sauces can be. The sausage was okay, that had a hard grill but didn't really have any flavor. Overall, I like the idea of this place and they obviously have a following to be as busy as they are. There was some low-lights with our meal, but some highlights as well. I would imagine if they could work on their consistency, then this could be a definite spot to hunt down and try. This is a little gem brand new to Prospect. They have a hearty menu full of scrumptious options to choose from such as omelettes, pancakes, sandwiches, etc. they even offer gluten-free options! There is plenty of seating but you can place your food to go. The Brunch House is bright, clean, and comfortable. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The ONLY reason I gave them 4 stars versus 5 is because they yet do not offer lattes, cappuccinos, expresaos, etc. These items are to come though and I cannot wait! There is plenty of parking on the side if you can't find one in the front. I recommend this place if your looking for breakfast, lunch, and of course brunch! read more

I love trying new breakfast places. I ordered coffee and the Bacado omelette (bacon, spinach, avocado, and cheese). It was delicious. The potatoes smelled so good I forgot to take a picture before taking a picture of my plate. The coffee was good but cups were small and they were busy so they didn't walk around to fill the cups. The owner was was very kind and helpful. They were busy so the staff seemed a little overwhelmed. We had a little wait at the door. It was confusing without taking names for a wait list and two doors to enter from. I am sure they will sort out those minor glitches and I can't wait to try the other tasty items on the menu. The Brunch House was crowded when I went to pick up the food. It's clear that people enjoy eating there. It's a lively restaurant with an old fashioned diner feel to it. There was even a line to check out though my takeout bag was ready. The sandwiches were packed and filling, I enjoyed the tuna best: Very tasty with the right combination of mayonnaise. The Reuben was nicely toasted and crispy . The pancake serving was large with cream on the bottom and strawberries on top. We ordered this for breakfast at work the other day and it was pretty good! My French toast with thick, not made with the cheap thin slices of bread and tasted VERY good. I also had home fries which were soft inside and crunchy on the outside, they do add thin pieces of onions fyi but I didn't mind. My friend ordered crepes and she said they were delicious. We are huge YELP fans so whenever we are in a new area and hungry, This is where we go! My step daughter turned 21 a couple months ago and suddenly discovered NYC and started commuting to and from Grand Central on weekends . This particular weekend, it was a 7am train out of Naugatuck so to entice me to drive, my wife said something about "buying breakfast"! I'm easy so that was all I needed. Also love that she's not so high up that she seems to enjoy it! Great way to interact with your customer and build value at the same time! We both went with 2 of their signature dishes. My wife got the Baconator omelet and I got the Bacado because Duh!!! Cool name for Phenomenal food! I have to say, we rarely lose with YELP and we travel quite a bit as well. Last minute Brunch with friends turned into a delicious way to start the day! Coffee was a hot, continuos pour right up to departure. Tables were nicely spaced for private conversation in the open meeting space. Food was delayed a bit over 30 minutes, although on arrival all plates were equally hot and kindly served. Veggie omelette came with bright, Al dente balanced with cheese. English muffin had all the right stuff going on...nooks and crannies-toasted just right with a dab of butter perfectly salted for optimal flavor when paired with the omelette.
