Fantastic in every way. From tremendous customer service to the exceptional communication right down to the physical work on the property. JNM logging and the three of you I mentioned you exceeded my family's expectation. You kept your word at every turn you made every deadline you answered every text every phone call. You answered fully all of our questions. You respected not only me and my family as customers and people and neighbors but also our property. I honestly can say you treated my property like it was your own. You cut down exactly the trees I asked you offered your own professional opinions and then you gave it your personal touch. I wish I had more land with trees just so I could call you back. A heartfelt thank you to all of you three who made this experience not only profitable but memorable and touching. Took numerous calls to get them to come out to fix a wood stove with a type of damper issue. The…read moretwo techs that came out and quickly jumped to the "you need a new stove" idea. They also damaged the stove pipe and left a big scrape on the side of it. After all that, I got a bill for several hundred dollars and nothing was fixed. A painter I had working for me at the time asked if he could take a look at the stove and he was able to figure it out and fix it in about 15 minutes. It has worked ever since. Terrible communication, terrible service, high priced, and then when I called to talk to management about all this, they just gave me the run around and it went nowhere. I wanted a 4"x 8' hemlock piece of wood. I had forgot to mention that it was 1" thick. He was rude and said out loud, "Hahaha, she doesn't even know what she wants." I literally just finished measuring my project and I had a lot of numbers in my head. N.C. Hunt would have said, "Ok, how thick is the wood?" Simple as that. The man at Gilpatrick made me feel stupid. I'm not a stupid person. The older man went on bragging how his hemlock are all the same size and that N.C. Hunt not once had the same size piece of hemlock. When I received my 11 pieces of hemlock ALL of them where different sizes AND one end on a piece looked like an "L".... If you're going to brag that your shit don't stink, make sure it really doesn't stink. If you like smart ass grumpy old men, then this is your place. If you like to save money and want excellent customer service: N.C. Hunt is your place. Would I go back: Gosh, I hope not.... (they literally are 1min down the street from my place).
