And the best part of all is they actually hand out free samples of the veggies you can grow! Including delish tomatoes, peppers and cucumbers. Everything was so tasty that we couldn't help buying half a dozen plants. Typical big box store, but sometimes that's exactly what you need to get the job done.

It looks small from the outside but it is quite big and the staff are very helpful. The selection is limited and it's not your typical huge German Baumarkt but it has enough things if you need it. It's also not cheap but very convenient as it's a short walk from where we live to get here. A good place if you are looking for various bits of hardware and or things for the house and kitchen.

This shop is huge with a massive selection of hardware, raw materials, paints, tools and household goods. They also have a huge garden centre with everything you need for your outdoors and garden. The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable about the products. German is the only language here and I must admit, I struggled with some bits as we were looking for a duschekabine and it was a bit complicated to get it done. Anyhow we finally managed :-)) I would come back here again. The choice is endless and unlike other warehouse stores I have been to the staff are very helpful and patient with what we were looking for. I would give their service 5 stars. Despite a couple of misunderstandings we did get there :-))
