I saw a review under Google that spoke very highly of Happy's restaurant. So I thought we'd give it a try.. Wow. We ordered Tandoori chicken , that came to the table perfectly cooked, with onions and peppers, in a light sauce. To say this is the best and most tender chicken I've had in years is an understatement. Here's a hole in the wall restaurant and pub that is making some of the finest Indian cuisine I've had in years. Palak paneer , a spinach and cheese dish my wife loved. I would recommend going mild the first time on the spices however, the flavors were exceptional. We both ordered separate.nans... My wife had the butter on, and I had the garlic naan again exceeded my expectations....crispy and flavorful. The restaurant has a separate dining area away from the pub area. And the pub area has five or six large TVs to watch soccer, hockey, or your local sport. I found the place clean, the bathrooms are clean, and the service, attentive and quick I would highly recommend if you're looking for traditional Indian style cooking as you will not be disappointed. I'm considered to be a bit of a Jerky snob, or sometimes just a jerk (but that's a story for another day) I tried the regular beef jerky which was delish and the pork jerky too, which I probably liked more than the beef jerky. That rarely ever happens. The place was pretty busy with people so besides the jerky, everything else must be pretty awesome too, I just might try it out the next time we're here. As far as jerky goes, definitely try this place out. It's tasty, delicious and fresh. Just the way I like it!

When we had gotten settled she came over and let us know about their specials and got us some water to start. We had a hard time deciding what to get as this limited menu all looked so good. There are some wild things to try for the daring such as a dill pickle pizza or kimchi nachos but there was also some fabulous pub options. We both went with calzones and marvelled over the homemade (tasting, can't confirm) pizza dough. They were huge and delicious. We also took time to look at the bottles they had distilled and were many and interesting. Cucumber mint gin sounds dangerously good but I'm not sure what a peanut butter vodka would go in at my house. Totally worth a lunch out or snacks with the girls after work or dinner when you're not looking for something fried or heavy.
