THE WORST. I purchased a bubble tea and specifically told them I'm really addicted to those tapioca…read morepearls. So I paid for extra. The drink normally costs 15 zloty. And the annoying thing about Europeans is that they LOVE to give you small change, even when they have enough to give you a bill. Like 10 and 20 cent change. I didn't want to carry a handful of small coins so I just dropped it off into their tip box. (Kinda wish I never did that. Tips are not expected. And they 100% did not deserve it.) They made the drink, and there was barely any tapioca pearls. I asked... "Is there extra tapioca in there?" when clearly there wasn't. They said "yes" and then whispered something. They indicated that there wasn't enough for later customers if I took extra. Okay, fine. I asked for my money back. And they said, "no, there is extra." Unbelievable. I've attached a picture of the "extra" pearls. ANNOYED. There are plenty of bubble tea shops on the same street. I suggest you go to those ones. They are way friendlier.

And I knew then that this would not be high on my list of bubble tea places. I believe based on taste and the aforementioned comment, that the tea is made from a powder, and I honestly felt cheated of a true bubble tea experience. However, that being said, this is a great location, and my friends enjoyed the bubble teas they ordered as newbies to the game. They both were of the opinion that the teas would make great refreshing summer desserts. Space and seating are limited, and on such a busy street I imagine it can get crowded. I hope they up their game and get more into the art of bubble tea... perhaps even offering mousse/cheese tea options like they do in the big cities like NYC and London. A girl can dream right?

I'm never truly awake until I've had my morning cup of coffee, but even though Relaks was a bit of…read morea trek from our hotel in Warsaw, I was willing to make that trip half-asleep and grumpy, in order to try what has been pegged as some of the best coffee in the city. Eventually we arrived in the vicinity, though finding the shop took a few minutes; in spite of the address, the shop is actually on the back of the square, with the entrance on Jarosława Dąbrowskiego. Inside, the decor is minimalist, though a bit dated in that hipster kind of way. There are posters of movies hanging on the walls and an assortment of mismatched furniture (couches, tables, chairs) in the room. We went to the counter and ordered and the service was quick and attentive. Admittedly I was a bit disappointed with the vegan selection. They had cookies and sandwiches, which is pretty great, but for a coffeeshop labeled as vegan, I expected a bit more. So fair warning: this place has more to eat for a vegetarian than a vegan. It was morning, and I wasn't in the mood for a sandwich, so I had a cookie. Meanwhile, the fellow got an almond croissant (vegetarian), which he said was tasty but definitely heavy/filling. We hung out for a short while and listening to music and used the free WiFi. My coffee came out in a bit and it was good, and strong, and not too bitter. For coffee lovers, this place is definitely worth checking out.

I tend to sit here a couple of times a week and work. Medium crowds during lunch hours, though. Nice staff. My fav SBX in Warsaw, that's for sure.
