Been on the hunt for a bubble tea and finally got to try Bubbles. It was fairly packed so I looked at it as a good sign. Menu offers a variety of flavors and add-ons. The team was friendly and helped me quickly even with the crowd. I went with the Honeydew flavored tea with Boba. I was disappointed. When I took a sip of my tea, I felt I was drinking green water with sugar. No taste of honeydew. The boba seemed stale. I guess I'll continue to be on the hunt for bubble tea. Ordered the tropical tantalizer with guava. Not too much you can say about a smoothie other than if it's refreshing or just plain good. I would say it's both. The only down size it's pricey. I had smoothies just as good and better for less. However you are in a mall so you will pay for that. It's a good stop if you are in the mall. Honestly I can't see coming to the mall for just this when there are plenty of places just as good on the way to the mall. With that said I will base it on taste. Bubbles definitely isn't my go-to boba shop, but I was desperate for caffeine yesterday and stopped by. Compared to the other Bubbles locations I've been to, this one is actually pretty good! I ordered mango tea with blueberry popping bubbles and less sugar, and it was delicious! I definitely recommend with less sugar, especially if you get the popping bubbles, because it was still very sweet. The service was really friendly and receptive to questions too. read more

Sometimes I'll fight Polaris parking for the sole purpose of getting a bubble tea inside. And I loathe Polaris parking. The menu is large, but I've only ever had the taro, red bean, and Thai bubble teas. What can I say, I'm consistent like that. Well, I guess that's a lie. I've also bought lemonades and juices from the cooler to take home. Service is always friendly here (and at the north market from what I remember). A bit pricey but it's not any worse than getting a fancy drink from Starbucks. read more

I was really impressed by the cute location and the fact that they offer cold pressed juice, so I thought I would give them a try. They served cold pressed juice in the fridge next to the line, I figured they would offer fresh smoothies ... Boy, was I wrong! I ordered the "Tropical Paradise," smoothie with boba and coconut jelly. On the back counter, there were several dirty blenders with lots of left over smoothie in them. I saw a girl take a 1/4 full dirty blender, fill it with ice, and add some juice from a gallon in the fridge. I was horrified!! 1.) She did not use any measurements. 2.) It was a DIRTY blender! 3.) The mixture came from a premade gallon. Nothing about it was fresh fruit. I asked her why their smoothies were not made to order, and she told me that "We mass produce them to save time" ........ I have no words. Who knows how their cleanliness is with their packaged cold pressed juices, or what other short cuts they take. Working for bubbles was really refreshing and a nice first job. The work was nice and easy and the inteeactions with cutomers and fellow emplyees was great, until the new manager Jonathan Granados hired. He makes the work place extemely uncomfortable especially for younger people. He made comments about his genitals to minors who were employed there (and other wildly inappropriate comments directed towards other employees) and lied about it after they had spoken up. The higher ups did nothing to correct or discipline his behavior. He still continues to work there even after multiple employees (underage and over) had emailed and spoke to higher ups about his behavior. I am not writing this maliciously but because I am genuinely concerned about the well being of current and new employees. No one should have to go to work with a 30 year old manager so willingly to make such comments and higher-ups who are so willing to keep him around unpunished. -former employee of the strongsville ohio location read more

It does not taste anything like authentic milk tea. 3-Star Rating for Service: I immediately returned the drink to the kiosk attendant, Nina, and asked for a refund but she said she could not issue me one. I bumped into this place while at the worthington farmers market. I tried to iced Matcha tea with almond milk and boba. It was delicious. The tea was smooth and not grainy. They also have a nice selection of fresh juices. They were sampling the orange juice and it was divine! The only area of improvement was the boba. They were a little tough to chew. The staff was very helpful in choosing the right tea. They also gave me a punch card so my 10th drink is free. read more

I decided to try this one more time since it's so popular at the mall. I wondered if my first experience was just a mistake one of the employees made. This time I ordered the matcha milk tea. What I received was another very sweet drink - not a drink of pure syrup like last time but yikes. Seriously? It tasted nothing like matcha - just syrup added to milk. The bubbles were not pleasant. Again, I didn't finish the drink. But at least I gave it one more shot, right? Have you guys not had boba tea before?! Even the Easton Mall's Kung Fu tea is better than this. (And that chain location isn't particularly good). Not that many places in this area use actual fresh fruit - but at least Kung Fu Tea tries a little harder than this place. Surprisingly good bubble tea! Actually, coming from Vancouver (land of bubble tea) I would say the coconut flavor is the best I have ever had. The pearls were a bit tough but I really like that they didn't try to dilute the tea with too much ice. I wouldn't recommend this location. The staff is normally not friendly and treat you like a number but on top of that they don't make your tea right. If I'm ordering a cold tea why would I want my ice to melt and it be luke warm by the time you hand it to me? I'm actually a fan of the Bubbles in North Market and was looking forward to a bubble tea this afternoon. I purchased my usual order here but the tea seemed a little more bitter than usual. I usually like the tea but it's hit or miss here. Sometimes it's really good and sometimes it's really bad. I've gotten a really watery and flavorless mango smoothie with bubbles, an almond bubble tea that was WAY too sweet (seriously I felt like I was drinking straight almond extract, I had to go home and dilute it with a couple cups of milk) and a plain bubble tea that wasn't sweet at all (I went home and dumped a bunch of sugar and milk in there because it felt like I was just drinking normal black tea) read more
