Buc-ee's the weekend before Christmas is like stepping into a Black Friday sale from the 90s! The traffic was wild, with every parking spot taken. I had to play the stalking game, waiting for customers to leave so I could swoop in and snag a spot--classic! Inside, it was a madhouse, but Buc-ee's was running like a well-oiled machine, just as it always does! If you've never been to Buc-ee's, you're in for a treat! It's like a gas station on steroids--over 100 gas pumps and a convenience store the size of a grocery store! They've got a clothing department, home goods, a hot food section, a bakery, a giant soda fountain, and so much more! The hot brisket sandwich area is a marvel; I swear they must make thousands of sandwiches a day! And don't even get me started on their beef jerky--it's a must-try! The best part? The staff! I had heard about these stores, but never had taken the time to go in. I will for now on be looking for these when I travel to states where they are. I couldn't have imagined that they were that awesome of a store! They had everything! The BBQ Turkey was great. The chopped brisket was as well. The beaver chips were close to the best homemade hips I've ever tasted! All forms of payment seem to be accepted. I wish you the best finding a parking spot! Even though the store was crowded, the check moved fast as the cashiers were all great and kept things moving without making you feel rushed. Racist, I can believe what a horrible thing I saw here, there was a "black jacket" this is like one of the bosses that works here, sadly I don't know his name but he was looking down at a Hispanic woman ordering her to clean WTF!!! he made a Hispanic 60-70 year old woman get on her knees and clean (KEEP in mind they don't clean like this in Buc-ees) the floor on with a bucket and a little towel. Im definitely reporting this Buc-ees because this is acceptable. The man would also keep coming back to tell her to clean it again and better. My wife's car broke down outside the St Augustine site. Her phone was dead so she bought a phone charger and tried to charge her phone. The rude heartless b*tch LaToya or LaTonya not only told her she couldn't charge her phone there, but kicked her out into 100 degree weather with a 110 degree broken down car and our 15 year old dog. I will NEVER purchase anything from any location again. They are very lucky we live 2 hours away or I would be there screaming in her face until the cops came. Family driving from Jacksonville to Miami and we noticed Buc - ee's on the sign. We decided to pull over to try and this did not disappoint. It's full of an energetic staff, good food and a lot of people. I have heard about this place before but didn't think it was this cool. You need about 30 mins in here to look around because they sell all kinds of souvenirs. They have plenty of beef jerky flavors. You will not have to stand in line long at all, the cashiers get you in and out. Make sure you check this place out!!! read more

Came in around 8:45PM on Sunday evening on date 12/1/24. The 2 ladies on the registers doing check out were constantly ignoring your customers that were waiting in line. They valued doing other tasks over checking out your customers which is crazy to me. And it should be priority to you as well since you are losing business over this. Before you give these people your money- employees work an 8 hour day with no breaks and only a five minute lunch. They send managers with them to the restroom to be sure they aren't just getting off their feet for a minute. I guess for $15 an hour you get ground into the dirt as well. Slavery! I was so excited to hear that Buc-ee's was coming to St. Augustine! I'm originally from Texas, so I was thrilled. As always, the store clean, organized, great service, and the food is wonderful! Definitely one of the best experiences I've had. Super crowded but with a cult following, I can see why. My first time visiting. Had a nice Brisket Sandwich that was just made. Grabbed a few souvenirs and I was on the road again for my road trip. Reasonable priced, good service and the quality was great. read more
