Stopped here at the local Hotel restaurant. We had a really nice waitress. The salad was good and the burger was fine. Food was fine for the price! And location was just down the elevator a few floors.

Family friendly restaurant with super friendly waitress. Big size portion, worth every penny.

Honestly not very impressive. We had spent the night at the hotel on our way to Toronto and thought this place seemed upscale and worth a try. We were sorely disappointed. It seems like the food was very badly prepared. The shrimp linguine that I ordered had tomato sauce that smelled and tasted raw. Like literally had no flavor. Was extremely acidic tasting. I didn't want to return it or make a fuss. The servers were nice. The place seemed upscale and had a nice ambiance but the food was not to par. My son ordered the steak pasta. The sauce was runny and the pasta a little more than al dente.

We wanted to celebrate the New Year's at the falls and watch the outdoor concerts and fireworks! It was fridgid this night and snowing so we looked for a popular eatery nearby before we froze outside. We chose to eat at our hotel's restaurant (we stayed in Holiday Inn's Double Tree in Niagara for New Year's Eve), Buchanan. When you get in you quickly notice that their decor looks Japanese more suited for a Hibachi dining rather than a steakhouse. They had a set dinner for two for New year's. Quite affordable which came with appetizers, wine, entrées, dessert. Coffre or tea extra. Only thing though the steak was a bit bland. We switch the set house red wine to a red Shiraz from Wayne Gretzky's winery which we don't drink to often from. Location was great. Service was good but the food from the set dinner was forgetful. Maybe we should've selected from the menu. Great for romantic dinners, family and groups. They also offer buffet style breakfast but quite pricey. You can get more affordable breakfast only 10 minutes away walking. $$$

It was a great value, delicious and definitely worth the price. We also had a side of Onion Rings, which were pretty tasty! One recommendation to the kitchen: Heat up the entree plates, so the food arrives hot!! The restaurant gave us a dessert of our choice as an Anniversary gift! (Warning) We were both surprised and disappointed when the check arrived, that they added a 7%+ resort fee to our entire bill for the evening!!

My expectations were mild considering the location. We ordered: Duck wings Pork Belly Beet Salad Shared a 20oz dry-aged "prime" rib eye Lobster Tail Scallops Mashed potatoes Duck Wings - Decent crispness, under seasoned. The sauce was sweet: would have benefitted with more acidity and salt. Use salt. 3/5 Pork belly - Tough and overcooked by about a long weekend. Flavour ok. 2/5 Beet Salad - Best appetizer, but it's just beet salad. 4/5 Ribeye - over cooked. Does not taste dry-aged or like "prime" grade beef. I would consider this close to SCAM territory. 1/5 Lobster Tail - Rubbery, but well seasoned. Edible. 2.5/5 Scallops - 3 x Tiny abductor muscles that did not warrant the $22 price tag. Rubber. Not edible. The waiter would not admit it was cooked from frozen 0/5 Mashed Potato - great. 4/5 The service was attentive and friendly. 4/5 Restaurant looks simple, but has a great view. Smells like a hotel restaurant. The kitchen doesn't know how make the sub-par ingredients into food. This is not a good restaurant.

Of course it is more expensive to eat here now, but still worth it! Delicious food, especially the appetizers. We were sorry to miss our favorite, Kaileigh, but Julie was great and very patient with our table (lots of loud talking and we took forever to choose what to have, lol). TO Bestie joined Boyfriend and I for dinner and really enjoyed her first visit! We shared the goat cheese and beef tartare apps... omg... go just for the apps! Absolutely perfect. She had the chicken and I had their new mushroom pasta as mains. Very good. Boyfriend had a Caesar salad and some steak - I think it was a striploin - he didn't care that much for the steak which was a bit tough. He would definitely stick with the filet mignon next time. Great restaurant and absolutely one of the better dining options in Niagara Falls. Also 18+ so no children running around, and great atmosphere. Beautiful fireplace. All I would add is ambiance music or something (if there was any, we couldn't hear it).

We tried several of the sides and especially liked the beef carpaccio, the chicken croquettes and the grilled mushroom. We got to try pretty much all the meats on the menu and while they were all good, we really liked the cheese stuffed prime rib, the Hawaiian strip loin and the bacon wrapped filet mignon. Our server, Ashley, was very friendly, helpful and attentive. She repeatedly apologized when there was a lull in meat coming by, though she doesn't really have any influence over how fast things come out, aside from telling the meat-servers what we wanted. We didn't really mind, because it gave us some time to talk and digest before getting more meat. Overall we had a great experience and would definitely come back when we're back in the area.

A NY Times food critic recently wrote, "What I really want from a restaurant is a quiet, well-lit…read moreplace where I can read the menu." This restaurant checks none of those boxes. Firstly, parking: It's all free, but the lot adjacent to the restaurant has 20 spaces for a business that seats 200 people. Arriving cars are to wait at the curb outside for the white shuttle to arrive, then follow this to a free parking place two blocks away. Reverse the process to leave. It's difficult to enter and exit a high van in a tight skirt and high heels. Just saying. We arrived just in time to see the 8pm floor show, but the music was so loud I was praying for it to end. To order from the menu for AYCE side dishes, you have to have a phone that can scan the QR code: No printed menu was forthcoming, and the print on my cell phone was too small for my husband to read. The music was so loud it made conversation impossible, so I made the choices. The kitchen had already run out of mashed potatoes, and green chimichurri sauce by 8pm, and they seat until 11pm on Saturdays. I was not impressed. There's a chaotic way the servers with the meats circulated. Some tables were served steak three times while we were never served. It's a $90 per person meal where drinks and desserts are extra, our table wobbled horribly, and we couldn't speak to each other. It was the opposite of hospitality. How loud was the music? I'm writing this the next morning and my ears are still ringing. There are many other steakhouses on this side of town: Brasa, Ruth Chris, STK. Next time, I'll try one of them.

Service from the bartender was great. He offered up some suggestions, which I needed because they have a large menu loaded with so many appetizing and amazing looking options. I started with their potstickers... They came out with a hard, fried shell and the dipping sauce went nicely with them. Enough to share, or even enough to enjoy and still have room for an entrée. My main dish was their Chicken & Waffle. This isn't some ordinary chicken and waffle, it's definitely an amped up version, made with unique and interesting ingredients, culminating in great flavors! The chicken was so large and very tender - it was amazing! The bacon and sauce on top went with it nicely, and the chive waffle was great with it! Each bite was definitely amazing! This was a great experience, I can see why they have so many reviews and such high stars, those are well-deserved stars!! Definitely recommend stopping in here!

The restaurant has an open kitchen concept so you can see much of what is going on "behind the scenes". Upon entering the restaurant, we were appropriately greeted by staff who were very personable, respectful, and informative. The same attentive and personable service was given by the entire staff. We were able to ask questions about how the restaurant operates, being that it is operated by the Culinary Institute and its students and alumni. I'll spare you the details but it is an interesting dynamic. The food was excellent. We went for dinner and while there is a limited menu, the options were varied enough that anyone would be able to find something they will enjoy. This might be the most affordable three course meal I've had this decade. The food was prepared perfectly, the presentation was impeccable, and the service provided leaves nothing to be desired. The entire operation is run calmly and very efficiently. I am happy to have had the opportunity to dine at Savor and it is going on my short list of highly recommended upscale restaurants for anyone looking for a nice dinner at an affordable price. So if you're looking for a night out and don't want to break the bank, go support the students and alums from SUNY Niagara. I doubt you'll regret it at all. I got into Canada early, so I decided to go have some lunch. I walked in, and immediately felt like I just came home. The bartender, this lovely young woman named Onya, came up and took my order. I ordered a black and tan. She suggested I go for the smooth black and tan which I did. It did not disappoint! I may have to have my black and tans like this for the rest of my life. I ordered a cup of the buffalo wing chowder, and she said it's one of the most popular items on the menu. I asked her to bring that out first before my Classic Caesar salad. Let me tell you something about that soup. Now I'm not a big soup guy, but I do like chowders, and this was the absolute best I've ever had. Had. I've had clam chowder all over the United States but man this one absolutely nails it! It has that buffalo wing flavor which just perfect and not overpowering. I should have gotten the bigger bowl of it instead of the cup. Now let's talk about the Caesar salad. It was absolutely perfect! It had the perfect ratio of dressing to lettuce, not just poured on top like most places but actually tossed. Onya said she did it herself, so massive kudos for her going above and beyond the call of duty. Overall this meal hit on all cylinders and did not disappoint. I will definitely be back here a couple more times while I'm in Canada. If you need to find me, you know where to find me. The bottom line? You really need to get the buffalo chicken wing chowder. It is absolutely an amazing soup and will change your life. And if you like a good classic Caesar, you can't do better than this one!
