There's cookies and candy in dishes on a few counters around the store for customers and she told me "It's so they don't get hungry and leave" which I gotta admit is SMART business..take notes. This place is extremely impressive, very well organized, beautiful, and giant. It didn't have that antique store smell either, it was actually really pleasant. You can just feel the history walking around and looking at items in this store. It's not anything from my era, but it's really fascinating and there were a lot of things I wanted to buy and use for home decor. Prices really aren't that bad! You could leave spending a few dollars, to a few hundred depending on what your tastes are. If you're searching for some vintage nostalgia, then check this place out. You'll be impressed

The hubby and I spent a good hour milling around looking at the items. As other reviewers noted, it is quite packed, so you have to do some maneuvering. Driving back from seeing the covered bridge, we saw the sign for Weaver's Furniture, bakery, and…read morepetting zoo. Between the bakery and the petting zoo, my granddaughter insisted we stop. I am glad we did. When we walked in we were not treated like customers, the staff all treated us like old friends that had not visited in far too long. Soon we were chatting just like old friends. The furniture is amazing, the quality is first class with reasonable prices. I was impressed with all of items. The bakery has many wonderful smells and the pretzels were to die for. the petting zoo is under the store (the building is a converted barn on a hillside) my granddaughter loved all the animals. If you are in the area, you should stop, I think you will be glad you did.

The food court had 2 people, that hallway and the main hallway had 10 people that I could see. The 2 of us, the 2 in the food court, a mom, Dad and little kid, a janitor and 2 more barely visible. Most stores were closed or empty. Pennys was open but I dont like Pennys. If you have your heart set on a particular store, I would call in advance. We were going to Bath and Body Works. I was worried but it was open. Oh there was a small live band playing their heart out near the food court. They were decent but I felt bad for them. The mall was empty. No one was there to enjoy them. The mall itself was clean. But at 2pm on a Sunday, a prime shopping time, at least 40% of stores were closed for the day. I remember back in the day when Kauffmann's and Macy's were there and still took pride in their store, this mall was bustling. Not anymore. It is sad.

I feel like I'm in the dying malls of America Tours some days. Richland Mall is one of those places…read morethat probably shined when it was new to the community. There is only one anchor left of the four it had when it opened. Lazarus has become a hospital. About half of the mall is now hospital. It's an interesting concept. There is a JC Penney open; granted in a reduced footprint. There is less than one corridor of mall left. There are two others that are barren storefronts. Worth a check back to see how long this incarnation survives.

They usually have some kind of deal every now and then with the ammo so it's nice to stock up on range ammo when I get the chance. Hey do have lots of fishing gear that anyone would need as well. We usually stop by this place on our way to our camp site to make sure we stock up on whatever essentials we may need while camping since the prices are decent. I thought we wouldn't be in very long because it didn't look like so big of a place. Inside it's not huge, but we were in there close to an hour. The shop is clean, well-lit, and, most importantly, well-curated. I tried on some hats and looked at brooches. My friend tried on four outfits and bought three. The owner, Toni, made my friend a good deal on the bundle. Toni goes here and there, including to estate sales all over the area, to pick out great finds for her shop. I left with a pillbox hat and two brooches. I was going to give the brooches to my mother, but I'm wearing one on my blouse and the other is on my hat, so... we'll see whether they actually make it to my mom. Toni even threw in one brooch for free. Oh, and that pillbox hat? It was like new. Tags still attached, and the velvet was so soft. I'll definitely stop by next time I am in Mansfield, and I wouldn't be surprised if my friend comes by regularly.
