The food is always very consistent, the pizza is fantastic and my favorite is the fish sandwich give them a try.

The best French Dip and homemade onion rings I've had in years! A great place to come after a hunting or fishing trip...or maybe to share a tale of seeing the Michigan Dogman! *Watch your head on the way to the bathroom if you're 6' or over.

Friendly staff. We recommend the Friday fish dinners. Giant cod filets and fries for $10. The pizza is fabulous. It gets busy in the evening so get there early to get a table.

    Buckhorn Deluxe Pizza

Outstanding Pizza! The Buckhorn Deluxe is piled high with an assortment of pepperoni, sausage, onions, green pepper, and all the fixings! The BBQ chicken pizza has a delicious sweet sauce. This brick oven pizza has the perfect non greasy crust.

The building is older and looks like a log cabin inside and out. It was clean. The Dogman is on full display here. Read the legend on the back of the menu. The service in this place is really good now that Kelly is running things. Pool is only 50¢! We ordered 3 appetizers: frickles, loaded tots, wonton poppers. All 3 were cooked to perfection. I was disappointed that there were no green onions on the tots, although there was something dried and green sprinkled on top. Taste of all the apps were great. We also got a small pepperoni pizza. It was loaded with great-tasting pepperoni and lots of cheese. The sauce was uneven, but not absent. Sauce flavor was garlicky but no Italian spice detected. Crust was flavorful and perfectly cooked. I do wish I could've had a second plate for my pizza after the cheese sauce from the tots + ranch/sour cream was on my plate after eating the apps. The quality of food here is generally really good. Fish on Fridays here.

Amazing pizza every time.. You may have to call ahead to order based on the day and time...but it's worth it.

After exploring other restaurants around lately, we decided to give the Clam a try again. Glad we did. Service Our waitress was great. Patient while we decided and helped with our lunch choices. Food We got a Rodeo burger and the Chicken Quesadillas. Both were really good. The spicy Rodeo sauce for the burger was nice. Chicken quesadillas was plentiful and really good. Price Compared to other places around the Clam was reasonably priced. Especially considering the dishes were tasty. Restaurant The Clam had a nice feel. Tables spaced nicely. Everything looked clean. You can be seated outside on the sidewalk cafe if you'd like. Nice place. Summary We'll be back. I'll be trying the pizza next. It looked great and seems that it was a popular choice. Considering so many tourist trap restaurants around Cadillac and Lake City, the Clam seems to be a good go to.

I certainly never would have found it if it weren't for Yelp, as it's kind of wedged in between 2 other buildings. I walked in and was greeted immediately. It seems to be another place that's popular with locals. The server was very good, and paid attention but didn't hover. I ordered that pulled pork tacos. It was a very odd combination of things: pulled pork inside soft tortillas with onion rings, and a few tortilla chips with refried beans and cheese on the side. But somehow, it managed to satisfy a bunch of cravings all at once! And while it didn't look like a huge portion, I could only eat half of it. I brought the other half home for another day. There were lots of interesting and appealing items on the menu. Do yourself a favor and stop by when you're in town.

I had intended to try pasta Alla Norcina which I noticed last visit but the told me it's on the winter menu (I think that they were on the Spring menu). I spoke with the manager and he said to come back in two weeks and they will switch to the summer menu and that it contains his favorite pasta dish. We started talking about the Pasta Alla Norcinia and I told him my relatives are from Norcia Umbria and that I've made it several times. I told him I use Italian sausage and the manager said that the chef uses actual wild boar sausage. He said the chef has amazing connections for ingredients like this. They also have a full time pastry chef on staff and all their deserts are home made. I was informed that the chocolate ganache cake has had the longest run on the menu and never seems to come off so I tried that.
