It was quite a relaxed place where they didn't mind if the kids played football and generally had fun - again, some sites(Club sites) have designated fields to use. There is an outdoor pool which was quite good and a decent area to chill and watch the kids in the pool. They have a small shop and a play room with arcade stuff, pool and ping pong. Nearby is Wadebridge, Padstow, Polzeath etc. Just down the road is a large Tesco. It's a nice little, no frills site with some cracking beaches nearby. Worth a try.

The farm consists of four converted barn cottages decorated and furnished to feel like a home away from home. All cottages have wooden beams and open stonework, with three of the cottages including a log burner making it very cosy and comfortable. Everything you need is catered for, including dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, oven, hob and microwave, as well as freeview/dvd/video and radio/cd. When you first arrive, homemade scones, jam, cream and tea are sitting on the table waiting for you. The owners are very friendly and welcoming and are ready to offer advice and recommendations for places to visit. Each cottage has beautiful views of fields and surrounding countryside. The cottages are perfect for every type of holiday maker - central to other tourist attractions in Cornwall (only 20 min to the Eden Project and St Austell) and set in the heart of the country side, it is perfect for walkers (boot scrubbing and drying facilities are included). The cottages are also child friendly providing cots, high chair and stairgate, along with board games and dvds for nights in. There is a farm trail and paddock close-by for ball games, with a pets corner where you can bottle feed lambs or collect farm fresh eggs. Highly recommended.

They feature solar private showers, composting toilets, and a garden you can get your daily veggies from for dinner! They have a cute little tea trailer on site that will offer morning breakfast sandwiches, tea, and coffee for a nominal fee (50p-1 pound) and all are delicious and served with love! The campsites are in a large grassy pasture, you never are camping RIGHT next to someone, and have all have a view of the countryside. There is also a canvas Bell Tent for let if you want to Glam-Camp while you are there. The hosts are very friendly and helpful, ask them or any of the volunteers and you can get hints and ideas about what to do while on holiday in Bude. They offer a tour of the farm and hands-on demos for kids every evening! The camp is walking distance to town and the sea shore! We would definitely stay here again when in Cornwall!

The accomodation is fully fitted out to the highest standard, and is ideal for a holiday or a romantic getaway. All properties are fully heated, so even if you go outside the summer you wont be disappointed. The yard has chickens and pot bellied pigs which wonder around.
