Incompetent. If 0 starts were an option, that is what I would have chosen because that is how much service they provided. After an order and payment, the dumpster did not arrive on the date of delivery. I called the next day, and they promised to call back after contacting the delivering company. After 4 hours, I called back only to find out I had no dumpster because the order was never put in by them to the delivery company. I would now have to wait at the end of the line for a dumpster to be delivered 2 days later.. Next drop-off date comes,, no dumpster. I call again, go through the same conclusion. They didn't order the dumpster. Unbelievable. Even more unbelievable, they have the audacity to tell me they can't get one out for 2 more days. I cancelled the order and am still awaiting my refund. Ordered and paid for 30 yard dumpster Thursday 06/10/21 and it was suppose to be delivered around 6pm on Friday 06/11/21 as of 6pm Saturday 06/12/21 it still had not been delivered. I called and they said they would call back but haven't yet. We get the dumpster 10 days from whenever it gets delivered and a deadline of 06/30/21 to get the job done. Budget Dumpster is NOT in the 'List of Permitted Waste Haulers in the City of Los Angeles'. This means that a PERMIT CANNOT BE APPLIED FOR in Los Angeles (you MUST have a permit to park a dumpster on the street). They are still charging me a CANCELLATION FEE! Their salesperson sent me a link to apply for a permit; I applied immediately, only to discover that I cannot use Budget Dumpster. I contacted them less than 30 minutes after receiving an invoice and they refuse to drop the cancellation fee. This practice is completely unacceptable and is a glaring example of their disregard for the customer. Their customer representative, who was female, stated that "per our verbal agreement" there was a cancellation fee... the only person I spoke with was a male. If their customer service representative is willing to lie, what does that say about the company. Absolutely awful experience. "Budget Dumpster" is just a middleman company that contracts with Waste Connections in Denver. They charge you for simply calling a dumpster company when you could just do the same and save serious $$$$$$. We paid almost double for the exact same dumpster with a shorter rental period. "Budget Dumpster" even automatically charged us $150 extra when it rained in our dumpster and the weight exceeded their load limits. $600 for a 14 day rental!!!?!!? Agreed on a price and drop off date for a dumpster. I show up at the location the day after the agreed drop off date with a couple guys I hired to help me load it. No dumpster. I didn't even get a call telling me there had been a delay. NOTHING. I had to hire another company, last minute, to supply a dumpster and the labor to load it- I'm out $1200. They did offer a $60 credit when I needed another one, and waived the $50 late fee when it ended up staying a few days late. Damaged the driveway when it got dropped off. Then I get a $70 invoice from them for being over the weight limit. Wait a second- I had to spend $1200 because you didn't show up as agreed, you damage my property, then charge me $70? Unfortunately, we are not going to be able to make any repairs. Per our mutually agreed upon Terms of Service, we are not held accountable for any damage that is a result of the structural integrity of the driveway. In addition, we were acting upon your instructions on where to put the dumpster. If the driver would have hit your house, hit power lines, hit a tree, hit a car or had an equipment failure that resulted in damages to your property, we would gladly take financial responsibility, as they were the our fault. Called to get my container picked up on a Tuesday didn't show called the next day to ask what happened they said they would pick it up that day I showed up Thursday morning container is still there! Called Thursday & said they can't do anything about it the driver will pick it up when they can I didn't get my container picked up until Friday afternoon. To top that off they charged me $700 automatically with out giving me a a call wasn't till I noticed I received an email saying the container was over the weight limit which made no sense since the container was barely half way full & I had thrown twice thee amount of trash (same material & the cost was much less) asked to provide the paperwork from the landfill and they said they would have to request it & I asked how long it would take to receive it they said they have no idea. Based on other reviews on this company, I should have done my research before agreeing to buy a dumpster from them. My church is located in Harlem NY and we brought a dumpster with a 5-day permit, which was an additional $70.00. It is 10/27/19 and the dumpster is still sitting in front of our church and we have now been issued a ticket with NYC, which is requiring a court appearance. I contacted the company since Wednesday and scheduled the pickup date for Thursday since the permit expires on 10/24/19. I was promised that Friday 10/25/19 it will be a pickup. Friday I called and spoke to someone and was reassured that the dumpster will be pickup and that they will follow up with me. NO ONE in that company has done such. It's a shame that our church members have to arrive and see garbage in front of a place of worship. Rented a 20-yard dumpster and everything went smoothly at first. Price was fair for the area, drop-off and pickup went smoothly, and the company that they found for me was perfect for my needs. About 3 weeks later, I get an additional invoice for "exceeding the weight limit of 1 ton." For those who don't know any better, this would be an understandable fee, but a 1-ton limit on a 20-yard dumpster is an F U clause. Sure, the fine print was there in the contract, but its well within the average contractor/conscientious homeowner's assumption that a 20-yard dumpster will safely haul at least 10 tons without incurring any extra charges. For an example, most pickup truck beds can safely haul 1 ton of material. Sure, call it your policy & business model, but it is an absolutely awful business practice to not make EXPLICITLY clear (not just in the fine print) that you pay the Dumpster fee AS WELL AS an extra charge per ton. A total of around $900 for a 20-yard dumpster rental hardly seems "budget", and if you agree, I strongly urge you to look elsewhere for your rental purposes. read more

We needed one, my sub said to use them. What did they do? they put the dumpster up against the garage door where the door was to the garage door. So it couldn't be opened, and we had to throw it over the top. When I saw the issue, I called and called and 40 minutes on hold and they didn't pick up. We gave up. Then their sad just emailed response was "you didn't ask us to leave the door to the street". Seriously? Then they couldn't pick it up the day we requested it. Don't use them. read more

We had a terrible experience with this company. They were scheduled to pick up 5/31 for a moving clean up. They never showed. We kept calling to get the dumpster moved out of our driveway so the new homeowners could move in. By 6/3, we were frantically trying to find a solution. The "supervisor" stated she had no control over dispatch to move it until 6/6. We let them know the dumpster had been placed in such a way that it was blocking access to the new owners. We called back in the hopes we could find someone more helpful and were told the supervisor had made notes that the decision was final and not to offer any removal solutions. We ended up having to pay the new owners to compensate them for being the weekend of not having moving access to their house. Stay away from this place. STOP!! Do not use this company unless you are sure what you are getting! I ordered the smallest dumpster they have and explained that this thing absolutely , no questions asked had to fit in the driveway due to HOA requirements. The guy on the phone assured me that it would. But was also somewhat threatening that if we cancelled, we would be chargers anyway. When it showed up, it required being placed diagonally. This would block anything from getting in or out if the garage. Lastly, the number I called was a local "303" area code( Denver), this company happens to be in Ohio and sub contracts to dumpster providers in the area. They aren't local as their website states. All said and done...we had to refuse the dumpster and now am frantically looking for another one since this is Saturday and the demolitions starts on Monday! This company is borderline fraud! Bad and apathetic customer service. After getting assurances over the phone that there would NOT be delivery issues, they went as far to pull up Google maps, they called on the day of delivery saying they had to pull into a neighbors driveway and needed written consent. Understandable although annoying since we specifically tried to make absolutely sure ahead of time that there wouldn't be issues because we KNEW it might be a possibility. When we promptly offered an alternative, they claimed that the driver said that it also would not work. This made no sense as the spot had plenty of clearance and plenty of public street room to back it in. No neighbor's driveway necessary. So what probably happened, the driver showed up. Called saying he needed written consent. And immediately left. And then tried to cover the lie by saying it still wouldn't work. Either way, they were untruthful one way or another. This would all be annoying enough because we didn't get the dumpster we needed. To top it off. They charged a $150 failed delivery fee. I totally understand that the delivery company needs to be paid. But when we specifically made sure over the phone and they pulled it up on google maps and assured us that it would work, I feel that they should have at least split the failed delivery fee with us. It's not about the $150, it's about the way it was handled and the complete lack of effort to make it right. This is the first negative review I've ever had to leave on a company and I don't feel good about it. To make up for it I'm going to go find some companies that deserve my 5-star review. read more

Not good. Had an agreement on a drop off date and they didn't show. Even worse I called at noon and the girl assured me it would be dropped off. Nothing at 5pm so I called again and she said still on books and they work till 7pm. I stayed home and missed son's ballgame and it never did show up. The disappointing part to me is they have all kinds of rules and fees if you don't do your part but if they fail no big deal. I had a horrible experience with Budget Dumpster. I would not recommend them to anyone. My Handyman called and schedule it to be picked up. It was never picked up and then I get billed when I find out they never picked it up. I don't live near the property where it was used. The handyman completed his worked and left. It should have been picked up on the scheduled date. When I called they said "well no one called us so we can't do anything about it" I found customer service to be very rude and unhelpful.
