We were there during a dead week, but the grocery was still open for four hours a day, and I was able to cook most our meals at our apartment. It has everything you need at incredibly reasonable prices, considering everything must be hauled halfway up a mountain. Cheap wine, chocolate and cheese. I don't need much else.

Prices were good considering how far up the mountain it is. Some things were a steal, while other items like meat were a bit spendy. The alcohol was decently priced. They had a 750 bottle of Vodka for eleven Swiss Francs. They, also, had beers for fifty cents. Overall, it's the only grocery store in town, and where else are you gonna go? Here! They also take all major credit cards, but, beware, they only take chip cards.

I phoned the company immediately and sent several emails during the following couple of weeks, but despite their website pledge - "For any problem, we are ready to immediately replace any product" - nothing happened. They didn`t even bother to try and answer my questions. Eventually, three and a half weeks after my order, they refunded my original payment; still without explanation. Quaint little boutique in the car free town of Mürren in the canton of Bern…read more I can never forget this boutique. I saw a pillowcase in the window but they were closed. We decided to return the following week but they were closed again. I had to search for their phone number and the owner was very pleasant on the phone. She said she would hold the pillow case for me and added they don't open every day. I finally made it back and she had kept my case on the side. I bought it and still love it twelve years later!! My husband always says this was the most expensive pillow case because of the multiple trips we made to Mürren
