I trained with the studio for 4+ years, and it was a wonderful experience !…read more The instructors are knowledgeable and very involved, and because it is family-run, all the students there are treated with great care and attention. It was also a great support system, since a lot of us were in high school and we would often times meet up during the weekends for tutoring/homework sessions. There were adults who would enroll their kids and then sign up for classes themselves to stay in shape and get involved, so the overall community was well-balanced and honestly, just great fun (: I think BBTKD is unlike any other "American" martial arts studio in the sense that they won't pass students simply because their parents can pay. They really push you to work hard, and discipline is everything. You can't expect to go in and drop some dimes to get a black belt. Overall, a GREAT experience. If you're serious about learning Tae Kwon Do, I highly recommend !

I am actually considering taking some classes. I was not very happy with my husband when he told me he signed our daughter up for Tae Kwon Do, I thought it would be a waste of money because she is super shy to the point that it is painful for me to watch he particapate in anything. Two weeks have gone by and she has shown improvement. I am not quick to say I was wrong but yes in this case I was wrong, it was not a waste of money it was a very sound investment in our childs future. Everyone should have their children particapte in some sort of activities and one that you should really look in to is Tae Kwon Do.
