Come to find out Nick the owner of Uncles was from, trained in Orlando. I am glad that I found Uncles Barber shop and Nick. He is a Master Barber and knows the history of barbering. His shop is set up like a barber shop back in the days of the 30's and 40's. Nick does an amazing job cutting hair, takes his time and he is a great conversationalist. This…read moreis a small family owned barber shop that caters to all types of hair, I have been coming here ever since I moved here from DC (over 15 years ago) and the barbers always make you feel welcomed. There aren't many black barbers in Erie so I would recommend making an appointment. It doesn't matter which barber you select the 2 brothers were trained by their father who has since retired and has instilled his family values into the shop. The youngest barber is his grandson and they are all very well educated in the latest black male hair styles of all ages. I give them 5 stars on the service and well they know their customers.
