I brought a print job to Tom and Elainey last week. It wasn't an easy one, being that I'm located in Austin, Texas and our client is near Boardman. We used our local Minuteman here in Austin (they are great) to run 2500 8-page brochures only to realize too late that there were mistakes. Yep. That means I'm paying out of my own pocket for the "re-run." Rather than shoulder the shipping costs again, I searched for a printer close to our client. Alas, the clouds parted and a ray of sunshine lit up my Yelp page!! There's a Minuteman in Boardman!! I knew upon my first call with them I made the right choice. Elainey kindly listened to my plight and was ready to jump in and help. Over the past week, myself and my team have worked closely with her and Tom to make sure this next run was PERFECT. They went as far as to print multiple proofs for me & took snapshots with their phone so I could rest assured that I would be delivering a perfect product to my client. (Who does that?!) They never seemed rushed, although I know they are busy. They always listened, although I know I talked too much. They are great people running a great business and I think you've found your printer!! I know I have!! I'm not even kidding. I'm trying to figure out how I can continue to use them remotely... lol Thank you Minuteman Boardman!! Your Austin fans love you!!

Anyhow, I got my box two days later, which was great, but I was so disappointed that my item was sticking out of the box! This is a company that packs and ships for a living... and my item was sticking out of the box! Vintage! Irreplaceable! Thankfully, the item isn't terribly fragile, and having never seen it before, I don't know if the scratches on it are due to the poor packaging, or if they were lovingly earned from being 65+ years old? I'll never know, but I do know that chances are very slim I'll ever participate in this particular auction again because of this service.

I have never been in a more uncomfortable environment in my life working at this store. I was the only black person working in the store and I have never been in that type of situation, I was also told by numerous people that the black employees at this location never last so that made me uncomfortable from the start. To start off A few coworkers (Nar Brant Kevin and Julia) were rude and snarky I honestly don't know how or why they work in customer service. Some of the interactions Ive witnessed them having with customers was unprofessional and at times I sympathized with some customers because I saw how Julia treated them. Their attitudes towards me was worse from just being rude and belittling for no reason being talked to in a condescending manner from the first day I started, Julia said " I have to talk to you and be a b*tch towards you thats the only way you would learn". I was also approached almost daily by Brant and Nar with these "black guy" stories and i don't know if it was meant to make me feel more comfortable or to assure me they have connections with black people but that made me feel super uncomfortable but i would smile just let out a nervous laugh and walk off. It was also time when my belongings were being examined while I wasn't there i couldnt even say to much because I would be deemed as defensive or aggressive which I felt as if I was being labeled .there were days where I felt isolated and stayed to myself because of the energy of just feeling unwanted. I was terminated for violating the attendance policy, which doesn't allow any grace period the days I was late I was literally off by 3/4 mins but I was also told that if I didn't get fired for that it was going to be something else seems as if they just wanted me gone I file for an appeal but I dropped it and decided to start something fresh with a more inviting environment
