This is not a reflection on the Chamber of Commerce. It's about a Main Street
Merchant. I have never been treated so rudely, in any of our travels, in the 45 years we've been married, as I was in one of the stores.
We stayed at a nice hotel, in Buffalo, a couple of years ago, they treated us and
our small dog, very well. Ate at the Occidental Cafe, was treated well there, the
Quilt Shop, grocer, Outfitter and others are great so was looking forward to visiting Buffalo again.
Walked into a store at 4:45pm. We were greeted with "If you aren't a serious
shopper, I'm closing now. I'm tired." We were tired too as we got up at 5am to start our trip. I said I'll just look around to see if I want to come back, as we were staying elsewhere for a couple of nights and could possibly pass through again on the way back. She said "Oh, you'll want to come back."
Don't think so as prefer to buy from people who are pleasant to do business with.
Didn't look like she offered anything you can't get elsewhere and, from experience, looks like there's plenty of other nice places to patronize, next time
we stay/pass through Buffalo. read more
