I went with their Cajun choice which is like a slightly spicy dry rub. OMG!! Blows wing stop out the water in my opinion. Their chicken fingers are equally delicious. Stopped in for lunch today to this unpretentious establishment. It's not fancy and it appears,(at least on Sunday), that lots of people order wings for takeout rather than eat in. I think ordering is usually done at the counter but we were served at a table by a very sweet server. We ordered onion rings to start and where asked if we wanted sauces, we chose ranch, horseradish and barbecue. The order came out hot and fresh and perfectly cooked. You can tell a well cooked ring because when you bite it you get a clean break without pulling onion from the rest of the breading. We had a chicken Cesar wrap which was stuffed with grilled chicken and a garlicky dressing and their Voodoo sandwich consisting of batter fried chicken, lettuce, tomato, grilled onions, mushrooms and bacon. The sandwich was served on a toasted hero roll and was huge. We had baked potato's with butter and sour cream. I stopped by one afternoon as I was in the mood for a burger. Ordering was simple, you go to the counter to place your order, pay, and then they'll bring your food out to you. The burger was juicy and cooked just as I ordered and the fries were delicious! I think they seasoned them with old bay. We both had the Chicken Avocado Club. It was not stacked like a club, but rather on a long roll. Bacon, Swiss cheese, avocado and a nice chicken breast cutlet with lettuce made for a very tasty sandwich. The fries were crispy and Delicious. Hubby had salad greens with his. One star deducted since we ended up spending more time there than we had planned, but I only saw one person in the kitchen so I guess that is the reason. I wish I could give Buffalo Grille Greenlawn zero stars! My husband and I had a $25 gift certificate and we went to go use it this evening. They would not take the gift certificate. The girl behind the counter says "we don't take those anymore." It has no expiration date on the gift certificate. Why is it suddenly not valid becuase they decided to not do gift certificates anymore. They she still honor the ones that are still out there until they phase this out. I asked to speak to the manager and the manager and the girls behind the counter said that the manager is not here. I asked her to call the manager. She called and the manager said they will not honor it. So if you have a gift certificate to buffalo grille it is no longer valid there and you have lost money. Our food was already done and in the bag and I told her I don't want the food if she isn't going to honor the gift certificate. This place is one of the only decent eateries in Greenlawn. Why there aren't an abundance of eateries goes to the zoning rules in this small hamlet of Huntington township. Their buffalo wings are expensive, bison burger is always dry. I order the fish and chips often because it's decent. My gripe is, they know their the only decent place for burgers and fries without going bankrupt but it's coming! Every time I turn around, everything on the menu is a dollar more! Nice little place located in Greenlawn. It's located on Broadway and along the strip stores. It's a small place maybe sits 15 people, but that would be tight even for this place. Super casual like a deli, place you would really only eat in for lunch. It has your typical grille type food like burgers, fries, wraps, etc. What I like about this place the best are the buffalo wings. The food is good, but I pretty much only go to this place to pickup wings during football season. They have eleven types of wings. The honey bbq and bold bbq are my favorite. They do also have hot wings, their hottest is called inferno, which are really hot and not like tabasco hot. They are unpleasant to eat due to the heat. I don't know what they have spiced them up with, but it must be some type of dry pepper because they smell hot and look hot too. I usually write positive reviews since I eat out all the time. However, this is the first time I ever experienced speaking on the telephone to a LYING staff member from Buffalo Grille in Greenlawn, NY. Her name is "MARGO." I should have known that this delivery order was not going to end well by Margo's snippy demeanor. My order consisted of two dozen "drumsticks only" with Honey BBQ sauce with extra blue cheese, and two sandwiches with salads. During my brief conversation with her, I repeated my order of the "drumsticks only" with Honey BBQ sauce twice. During our conversation, she became rushed and exasperated whenever I asked her questions. (I could hear it in her sharp tone and how she answered me.). She explained that there would be an extra fee for the "drumstick only" order which I was Fine with. She said the order would arrive in half an hour. The Second clue that the order was going to be problematic was when it arrived a little over an hour later. The delivery man knocked on the door politely, asked me if i wanted him to sign off on the credit card receipt which I agreed, i gave him a cash tip in a clear bag, and he handed me a bag of food. When I turned back to the door after placing the food down, he was gone before I could ask for my receipt. I immediately checked the food containers and learned that the "drumstick only" order was missing and that i received only "wings." I telephoned Margo who denied that I ordered drumsticks !!! She insisted that I ordered a "FLAT." I had no idea what a FLAT was and told her that she had me confused with another customer. I asked her if I could exchange the wings for the drumsticks which is what I originally ordered. She refused to acknowledge I even placed a "drumsticks only" order. To make matters worse, she gave me grief over it, blamed me for her own mistake, no doubt LIED to her manager and the delivery man as to what was said between us, and refused to apologize to me for her own incompetence. She placed me on hold for awhile to speak to her boss. After some time had pass, the "deliveryman" got on the phone. (Note: Margo never got back on the phone ever again.). He gave me a "song and dance explanation" and basically blamed me for the incorrect order that Margo originally took. (I am not mad at the deliveryman since he does not know what was said between me and Margo when i placed the order with LYING MARGO.) I was so annoyed at this point, I asked him to return with the credit card receipt without writing in any tip (since I gave him a cash tip when he delivered the food.) (Note: Before he hung up the phone I asked him what a "FLAT" was and he explained it to me.) He did return to my home with the receipt. (Also Note: This all could have been resolved diplomatically from the get go if Margo had told the truth and apologized. I would not have been disappointed!!). However, now I am left with a bad taste in mouth about the service and this place. 'Just a bit of advice, ask for anyone but Margo if you decide to telephone in an order. You will probably get your CORRECT order without a lot of aggravation if you do!! (I miss the original owner- LISA - she operated a warm and friendly staff!!! They need a better "to go" ordering system. The past few times I tried to order ahead I was holding for a while on the phone to order. Maybe they should do Seamless or the ability to order online? Bc it's really ridiculous. Both times I waited for about 8-10 minutes each time and finally just hung up and ordered somewhere else. I was concerned that we'd wait longer for the food as it takes about 30 minutes for it to be made (I have young kids so it's impossible to wait that long). They should have a policy that they'd give a discount if you're waiting too long or just have a delivery/online ordering system. Once they have that I'll certainly change my rating to more stars bc the food, and options are great and plus that would triple business. Win win. read more

The food is mediocre and if you're a big fan of wings, such as I am, you'll be very disappointed. I recently moved to the area and saw this place and I had to try it. I will most likely not be returning. At a restaurant named "The Buffalo Grille" you would expect the wings to be spectacular and stand out. I was expecting much more from this place according to its name and some of the other reviews. These are nowhere even close to the best wings on Long Island. I've had better wings at a seafood restaurant. Apart from the very disappointing wings, the rest of the meal wasn't much better. I was excited to see a bison burger on the menu and really liked that they serve a bison burger with wings for under $10. My wife and I both ordered a bison burger. I ordered mine medium-rare and she ordered hers medium. They both came out well done. Why ask me how I would like my burger cooked if you're just going to cook it well done?? This was the worst bison burger I've had yet. I really enjoy bison burgers because the flavor of the meat is incomparable to beef. However, this meat seemed old and was poorly cooked. I've had better bison burgers at diners. Again, I expected "The Buffalo Grille" to serve a mean bison burger and was again very disappointed. The place itself is quite small, and could be nice if it was clean. The service was good and both waitresses were very nice. They did pay attention to customers but neglected all cleaning. There are only 7 tables in the place and every table was dirty. We had to wash our own table with hand sanitizer before we sat down. There were french fries mashed into the carpet, used napkins on the floor, and food crumbs all over. We didn't use the restrooms but the 8 year-old sitting at the table next to us did and she made it very clear that the bathrooms smelled gross and were dirty. I don't like to try a restaurant just once because everyone has an off night, but it's going to be hard to give this place another shot. Perhaps I will and everything will be much better. read more

To be fair, every time I go there I only order one of the few items I've tried here. The wings are VERY good. On a few occasions, they've been over fried...but more often than not, they are perfect. Tons of flavors to choose from so even if you don't like spicy, you'll be perfectly happy. Tip : If you love spicy food like me, go for the Blazin' or Ragin' wings. They are VERY hot. Even the standard Hot can at times be too hot for the average person. I haven't dared to try the Inferno wings since I was a kid. I've yet to try a wrap I didn't like. Buffalo, Cajun, Chicken Caesar...all very good. Chili is always very good as well. The Bison combo is a decent value for what you get. Good burger plus 6 wings of your choice. My only complaint is that they serve it on an english muffin. I'd much prefer a better bun especially since the burgers are usually an inch thick or more. The cheddar and broccoli poppers are a must as an appetizer! Make sure they give you the spicy ranch sauce to go with them. My only complaint is that it's really not all that cheap. The prices have gone up over the years, and the 1 $ sign on yelp is really not all that accurate anymore. Unless you're just getting a wrap, you will be spending more than 10$ for sure. The one yelper posted a menu saying that 24 wings were $12 dollars...you'll be spending closer to $19-20. Also, despite what yelp says, they do serve beer. read more

This is a lovely little restaurant here in the village of Greenlawn. The Buffalo Grille serves up tasty varieties of old favorites like burgers, wraps, salads, and chicken wings. The food is reasonably priced, the portions are quite good, and the food is served hot and is very tasty. The staff is very down to Earth and quite personable and friendly. My personal favorites include the chicken wings ( I like them hot), Sicilian Wrap, and the Sweet Potato Fries. They have Coca Cola products, iced tea, coffee, and beer available to drink. There are daily specials and soup specials that are not to be missed! I suggest some delicious wings for all the tailgater's during the Super Bowl. They have many flavors from which to choose I have been a primary lunch diner and know the daytime staff pretty well. It's a great place to have lunch and relax for a bit. I've had dinner there a few times also, so anytime is really a good time to eat at the Buffalo Grille. The next time you are in Greenlawn, make a stop at the Buffalo Grille for a tasty meal. This is my second time ordering from the Buffalo Grille. My first experience with their wings was good from what I remembered, but I think there was too much sauce on the wings. This time I decided to order their cajun wings. They were good except it looked like the cook put too much cajun spices onto the wings, making them a bit too salty. With that being said, I'd probably order here again, but modifying my order a bit with the cajun, 'Till this day, the best wings I found are actually in Manhattan via Kool Bloo; a stand on 6th Ave and Watts. I was craving Buffalo Grille tonight and it was so good! I got the chicken and bacon quesadilla and it was really good, the chicken was moist and juicy, the cheese was melty, gooey, goodness and the bacon was cooked just right. I like that you can get a salad or a baked potato instead of fries as a healthier option. I ordered salad and it was baby salad greens with chopped tomatoes on top. The balsamic dressing is oh so good! Their wings are the best around and the delivery came faster than promised. The delivery girl was very sweet. We saw good reviews about the wings so we decided to give them a try. What a disappointment. The shop is very cheap looking, with dated tables and chairs. The wings were small and way overcooked making them devoid of ANY juiciness. I requested that they prepare 5 wings to exchange for 5 of the overcooked wings (we ordered 24) but cook them less. I was told they have to cook them like they were "so they would be cooked enough". They were so overcooked We threw away 15 of them. Lastly the Fries had an aftertaste as if they had freezer burn.
