Another of the fine brands distilled at Buffalo Trace is Eagle Rare. I put it between Buffalo Trace and EH Taylor in their lineup and I drink this one more than either of the other two. I particularly like this one neat or in a whisky sour with half the sour mix as a usual sour to get more of the bourbon flavor through. Or I just order a sour with a double shot of Eagle Rare in it. Easy going down with some vanilla and warmth as it settles in. read more
