I came away with no diamonds but some decent sized stones, one of which was amethyst. The first cavern was the big one. It had some beautiful formations. We received great information from our guide and a little history lesson. Be sure to wear shoes with good grip as the stone steps may be damp as you go lower. At the bottom of the second cavern, you are 110 feet below ground level. Again, wear the right shoes as it is damp. The formations were beautifully lit for your viewing pleasure. If you are visiting Branson, this is just a little more than 30 minutes on down the road!

They have two caves but we only did the mystic cavern one due to time. They closed at 5. They also have a pretty extensive gift shop filled with crystals and knick knacks. The tour lasted about 45 minutes. Make sure your shoes can get wet because the cave floors were damp and had puddles. It can also be chilly in the caverns. Amazing experience! P.S I have to say driving up the mountain to get here was a journey in itself! There were not many pit stops to use the restroom and the only real food place was subway which was about 30 minutes from the caverns. They have a small community in the mountains but it is small and not everything is always open. Beautiful drive up though. Not for the faint of heart if you are scared of heights because there are many drop offs where you see the valleys 1000 ft below.

This is one of those campgrounds that people live in. Don't come here expecting to "camp". No fire rings except at a few spots someone has placed small stones. That's all the negatives we can think of. The office and shower house are really nice and clean. Showers are pretty modern with plenty of hot water and privacy. Showers are entered in using a code. Full hookups with easy backing. WiFi. The people that work here are friendly. All in all a decent, quiet place but we were expecting to be more in a campground type atmosphere with s'more roasting in the fire ring.

When we made the reservation the woman said they would be closed on that day ( Sunday) but our receipt would be on the door. Well, it was on the door but what a dump!!! The map of where the sites are are a hand drawn picture that's faded and very confusing! We have a 5th wheel with 3 slides and we would never have been able to open the slides! Yes, some times you get what you pay for, and this was one dump! We aren't even going to try and get our money back, we just figured they need it more than us. To add to our frustration, this park is 21 miles North of Hwy 40 and with windy narrow road.
