After contesting his fabricated $400 charge for a 10mi tow and flip, he then threatened to charge $500 and impound both my vehicle and the rental vehicle my friend had. Seeing as how he cannot legally do this, it is clear that the law enforcement officer is in on the scam. It was obvious Shane and the "cop" run a scam business on people from out of town. He tried to justify the price by comparing it to a $1500 tow job he did for an 18 wheeler the day before. It is also worth mentioning that the Faulkton law enforcement will call Shane to do the tow job before you have the chance to request your own towing service (we have AAA).
