I went here yesterday with my friend and we were seated in the dining room in a booth. The place was mostly empty because they had just opened (we went in around 11:30am).
Our service was absolutely amazing, the server explained everything to us and offered us samples of the sauces (which we turned down). They had a quiz game we could play while we waited and it was a nice touch.
The menu is loud, obnoxious and confusing, and came in 4 different parts. We had never eaten there before, so we didn't really understand it. The server explained everything, and it all made sense once we understood the gist of it.
There was a Thursday special on boneless wings, so we went with 20 of those and a con queso dip with chili to start. The con queso wasn't awesome, but we forgot about how runny/goopy/plastic-y it was once the boneless wings happened.
They were deep-friend bits of chicken, and you ordered different sauces or rubs on them for every 5 wings. We went with mild BBQ, spicy honey garlic, chipotle dry rub, and garlic parmesan. The BBQ and honey garlic were pretty good, but it was the dry rub chipotle and garlic parmesan that stood out.
The dry rub was such a great surprise! I didn't expect to like it, but they were awesome and we fought over them (5 wings over 2 people means there's a war over the remaining wing).
The garlic parm was really gross. I don't think there was anything wrong with the sauce, but it tasted like eating Pizza Pizza dipping sauce on our wings, and neither of us liked it. Our server did offer us samples before, and we should have taken him up on it. Neither of us liked it, and we left 3 of them behind. This was totally our fault though.
I would go back, but probably not at night - it looked like it'd probably be packed and loud (lots of space and TVs). The highlights were definitely the fast, knowledgeable serve (I think his name was James? If he reads this, ask for a raise dude, you were awesome!) and the dry rub surprise. read more
