Their menu is American classic, with interesting snacks, salads, sides, sandwiches, what they call "plates" (including fish tacos, house-made falafel, and NY Strip). The kids section looks inviting and for a fee adults can also enjoy items like mac n' cheese, chicken fingers and quesadilla. Tonight, though, I had a disappointing experience. I came in to get some beers, food, and watch UFC 250. We were told they would not be showing the fight because the owner decided not to play it. That was disappointing, but we were still planning to stay and eat. When I ordered a bucket of beers, the server asked if we had shown our IDs to the bouncer. I said yes. She later came back and said the bouncer told her our IDs were not valid, even though I am 22 years old and have a valid Maryland ID. The bouncer had already checked our IDs when we walked in and told us we were good. The food is always good, and I've had plenty of good experiences here before, but the confusion and lack of communication made for a frustrating experience this time.

The restaurant is located on the second floor of a "random" building, so it might be a bit difficult to find unless you are in the know. Although there were not many folks during my visit, the restaurant gives off a very strong Colombian flare. I originally stopped by to get a drink, but I ended up trying the caserito, which was sort of a combo meal. This meal included a delicious soup, a beer filet, beans, rice, and a small salad. It was quite the meal for only $14 bucks. I do not remember the name of the bean-based soup, but it was out of this world delicious. For $14 bucks, I thought the portions were quite generous. The service was pretty good. Since the bartender/waitress did not speak much English, dining here gave me the perfect opportunity to practice my Spanish.
