Today January 9th 2026, I had my birthday luncheon at Buffalo Wild Wings in Parkersburg WV with my Girls, Noël Teel and Calliope Bays! We had a great lunch of various Hot Wings w Blue Cheese Dipping Sauces and Calliope had Chicken Tenders & Fries topped off by my Free Chocolate Chip Cookie from Chik Filet. The food was wonderful and we got a Free 10pc Boneless Wings for my Birthday! I had a few drinks of Pepsi Zero and Noel had Mt Dew while Calliope enjoyed a cold milk from the bar! Yes, the bar! I thought that was funny! The check minus discount was only $21.90 & I left our very friendly waitress a $5 tip! Almost a 25% tip, was that appropriate? As a person who has eaten in BWW in at least 21 different states i would like to ad my comments. I read the bad reviews of this place, and really had to see if it was that bad. First and foremost, I went to the bathroom to wash my hands. It was clean for being a little bit run down. Wasn't the typical Bdubs bathroom with the concrete walls. I did not see trash, check out my Texas Bdubs review. I decided to stick around for a beer. I did notice not a lot of people and the old decor with well worn seats at the bar. Bartender was friendly and I asked about some beers. I got a can of beer since the one I wanted was tapped out. I ordered my standard cheese sticks. Here is where the test begins. The mozzarella sticks were hot and were very good. Had another beer from the tap and it was kinda flat. Got some wings to go and those were really good. This place needs to be upgraded, no doubt. [[Friday.28.July.2023]] It was a Long Work Week, so i thought i would Treat My Wife for Supper at Buffalo Wild Wings, to Enjoy, Relax the Ambiance and Wing's at BDub's. We arrived there early evening, i would say there were at a quick glance 40 heads of customer's already seated, my wife and i were the only customer's standing waiting to be seated, within 1 Minute a Staff Member had took us to our table to be seated. * 5 Minutes Staff Member came to take our Order which was 20 Wings, Order of Fries and Onion Rings with 2 Cups of Water, which should have our Food Order within 20 to 30 Minutes time. As we waited we noticed the Couple that was seated across from us that was already there when we arrived did Not have there Food Order at that time nor did any other Tables down the Resturant have there Food yet. * 20 Minute mark we still did not have our Food Order, but we did notice the Couple setting across from us there Waitress had came to them and stated some thing to them and the Gentleman said "Why is that" i really could not hear what Waitress was saying tho and she left the couples table but they did not have there food order. * 30 Minute Mark we still did not have our Food Order. * 38 Minute Mark our Waitress came to our table and stated "There is a Delay, Due to a Party" i asked "How much longer till we get our Food Order to our table? Waitress replied said "Not much longer" and the waitress left, i mean gee it has been about wright at 40 minutes since took our order, this being a Friday Evening no matter Party or Not they should have customers orders to them in appropriate time span. * 50 Minute Mark we still did Not have our Food Order, the couple across from us just had received there Food Order but there Waitress had to Return there Food Order back to Kitchen due there Food was Cold, oh Wow what is actually going on here. * 53 Minute Mark our Waiter came to us a second time to tell us our Food Order should be out Shortly, really!! Shortly, what are we talking 5 minutes or more? Waiter said not sure but Shortly and left. * 1 hour and 7 minute mark we Finally received our Food Order to our table, the Wing's, Fries and Onion Rings were all Hot so that was on Point, Food was Delicious it was all Prepared and Cooked Perfectly and was Correct Sauces and amount that we Ordered. Now, i can not down the Server/Waiter, the person was only doing there job and telling customers what there being told, Nor can i down the Taste of the Food it was All Good, but what i can say is that it Should Not ever taken BDub's 1 hour or more for Customer's to receive there Orders to there Tables no matter if there is a Party going on (Which we did not see any large crowd of a party by looking around, nor while we was up through out the hour going to get our own refills of water did not see or hear a party going on) so i am very Skeptical about if there was a Party or Not or was something being told to customers just out of the blue. My prospective on this matter is, either BDub's did not have enough Cooks Working to support the Friday Evening Customer's or Some Major Commercial Appliance Problems was going on. We still left the Server/Waiter a Large Tip tho was not there Fault at all, plus was Kind and Nice, our order came to $40. Note: We will "NOT be Returning" to BDub's any time soon, 1 hour plus wait for food is Unacceptable!! it would be way better off going to "Wing's Etc / Pizza Hut to get Order Wings in a reasonable time, I think BDub's Corp should do a Shakeup on Management at this location cause know matter what this all trickles back to the head manager for letting this happen, Plus not long ago they just went thru a remodel on outside, what they should had done was get a better Management Team! my opinion, i think this Business is headed for Closure, we will see. read more

I think the consensus is the same...slowwwww service. I literally waited forever for our wings. BWW does have a wide variety of sauces available and they were good. I have had a few issues on a couple of occasions of them not getting the order right and then having to wait forever for them to get it right. On one occasion my husband's burger was so dry and burnt that he had to just send it back and he ordered something completely different. This BWW needs better staff. read more

I hadn't been to BWW in so long and boy did I miss it. Wings are SO good. Best I've ever had I think. Service was top notch. The only downside are their prices. $1 per boneless wing, almost $4 for a SMALL order of fries. Plus a drink and tip, this meal was $28 just for one person. We ordered to go just a few nights ago. They were done in 15 minutes which is wonderful, but once we got home to eat (maybe 10 minutes) we noticed that we had only received 20 out if the 30 wings, and they had been crammed into the boxes so tightly that they had spilled out all over the bag. Once we called however, it was corrected by Manager Rob with a re-made order and the problem was resolved, for the most part. We still had wings crammed into boxes that were too small but they hadn't spilled out into the bag so we let it go. Ordered 2 batches of wings (a small and a medium) and it took 25 minutes to bring them to the table. This was after waiting five minutes after being seated on our server. The 8 of us sat on the patio and the wait was so long that it got dark and the waitress told us the lights weren't working. So, we had to use our cell lights to even see to eat. We were visiting family and had drove here from northern Indiana. First off really busy, but found spots at the bar the bartender greeted us we got drinks ordered an app then food later.She was great, fun fast easy to talk to and although would rather not be there on thanksgiving( who does) was up beat and informative about some local beer questions I had. I figured it was time to update my ONE star review from last time I came to this specific establishment. Nothing has changed. In fact, it was an even worse experience than the last. This time, I tried to get a table of 7 for me and my employees. We had been looking forward to this all week and my girls were super excited to spend time together. We go in an ask for our table, and the guy takes 8-10 minutes to set us up a table. Mind you the place isn't busy because it's 5:30. He then sets us up a booth with a table connected to it. Which we all thought was off because it blocks in the people in the booth. So then we ask if we can just set up the two empty four person tables instead. They say yes, so we do that. Finally we set the table up OURSELVES and wait for the other 3 members of our party. The waitress then comes over to take our drinks and then proceeds to tell us that we actually can't even dine in because they can't serve over 6 people in a party. Which is a complete joke. The waitress then proceeded to have an attitude with us for questioning their store logic, policy, and the lack of rules that never are consistently implemented. This location is a joke. They are consistently terrible. And not just terrible at their service, but the food, their consistency, the portions, the pours, the attitude, cleanliness, and attention to detail. I won't ever be coming back. To any Buffalo Wild Wings. Period. SIDE NOTE: After all of this, four of our girls decided to go back and two decided to go home. So since there wasn't 7 anymore they returned to eat. When they were finally seated--there was a table of NINE beside them. I visited here a few times this week while in town to see relatives and sat at the bar each time. The service on my first visit was okay. My next visit was Sunday night and the bartender was great - he talked, kept my glass full and made me feel welcome like a guest. There were several people at the bar but he was working to make that connection with his guests. I was planning to hang out a few more times based on this experience alone. Friday night (last night) was awful. My brother and I went at around 9:45pm and sat at the bar. We got our first drink order and an app and said we were thinking about more food. There were two bartenders and maybe 8 people at the bar. They were more focused on cleaning the glasses, talking with servers and were doing things that made us think they were getting ready to close. Come to find out they don't close til 2am. They never asked how we were doing. We looked at the menu and were going to order more food. They saw us hold the menu but never stopped to ask if we wanted anything else. We sat right near the glass dishwashing machine near the middle, so it's not like we were out of the way. It wasn't just us either, they seemed to leave most everybody at the bar alone. We were now curious if they'd ever check in on us. After our glasses were nearly empty and the app was long gone, one stopped to ask if we wanted another round. My brother said that we were thinking of ordering more food but it was too late now. The male bartender took the passive-aggressive approach and said "ok, whatever" and went back to cleaning things. My brother stopped to talk to a manager to let them know before we left, but it sounded like she wasn't too concerned. It's a shame, the $17 check could have easily become $50 (not to mention the tip) if the service was better. The food is consistent with other BW3's I've visited. Worst place you can ever hope to eat. Slow, horrible service, and they are very unclean. Today with everything carry out only we decided to get food through them and what a disaster! We arrived after 30-40 minutes due to our pickup time we were given. We get there and they say oh we forgot to print your ticket so we haven't made any of your food. We got 40 wings and fries.. so we had to wait for them to make it with them offering no compensation for wasting an additional 20 minutes of our time. We get home the wings come in a bucket and provide no plates or untensils or anything but the food. Absolutely no courtesy to the fact that it's a family meal, so they think we are going to gather around a bucket and pick out wings with our fingers? Or do they think one person is eating 40 wings? Completely idiotic In my opinion. Then we get home and realize the order is completely wrong, all the boneless and traditional wings are completely the wrong sauces. I told her we were getting ready to leave and she said that was fine. I then told her it had been almost an hour total of waiting and 30 minutes alone at the table with nothing. She the waitress then exclaimed "I don't know if you realize that I had several tables up front along with closing out 2 tables and so forth" she then simply stared at me. No apology when she arrived at the table nothing when I explained the problem. I feel that I was calm and miles toned. Understanding it was a Friday night and simply could not believe she was the only waitress there along with the fact my table had watched her serve several tables that had arrived after us prior to arriving at our table. This is not surprising as it has become a trend at this restaurant and without a manager in sight I told her we would be leaving. She said she was sorry but that was fine and walked off. What a shame. I have been a patron of this Bdubs for 15 years and the downhill spiral of its quality and customer service means I will not longer be a patron. We came on a Sunday night and they were very considerate. It's a typically loud sort of rowdy place to eat and they turned the music down upon our request (they were too busy) and the service was incredible. Our order was pretty complicated and they got it spot on. I highly recommend it! read more
